When I was younger I got this book from the library and actually loved it so much I actually ended up buying it(at that time I was probably 9 or 10). Although I'm much older now i still own this book and still like it alot, i just don't read it as often now. I recommend for kids mostly seeing as how it's an activity book meant for kids although anyone could enjoy it I suppose.

I love this book!
So many creative projects to do, from snazzy paper airplanes, musical instruments, even thumbprint doodles, there is something fun for everyone.
Parents are going to enjoy doing these crafty projects with their kids. It teaches them how to make things out of cheap, everyday objects, and also how to utilize it in the form of what they create. Highly educational and mounds of fun!
Really, what more could a parent want?!

Projects include how to juggle, build a bird house, create a secret book safe, sink a pirate ship, design a board game and more!

We used several of these ideas in our library craft programs for middle school age and grammar school age children who participated in Summer Reading. My favorite was the "soap monsters".

*Be sure and test drive any craft at home before doing it with a group of children.

Too breezy, not enough detail on how to actual make the things!
