Parisian Intrigue is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries series. This book is full of historic events which I enjoyed. The characters Emma, Jeremy, Dora, and Tim set of on a mystery trip when accommodations arrive at their door. They meet some mysterious travelers on the way to Paris, to the 1889 Paris Exposition.
The foursome is led to not one, but two mysteries. This book is well-written and kept me guessing from start to finish. While I read this as a stand-alone, I would suggest reading the series; something I am looking forward to reading. If you enjoy history and mystery, I highly recommend this book!

Having read and enjoyed the previous books in this series I was looking forward to being back with Emma and solving crimes and mysteries with her, and I was not disappointed. I think this series is getting better and better! The storyline centres on detective Emma, along with Jeremy, Tim and Dora accepting an invitation for an all paid trip to Paris. Although they are slightly suspicious of this offer, they can’t turn down a trip to see the City of Lights. Emma and her team also get to experience the 1889 Paris Exposition and spend time with family. As well as enjoying the demonstrations of innovations which will change their world, there are also two mysteries to solve.
Emma and Jeremy try to help a mysterious girl who appears and then disappears, whilst Dora and Tim try to get to the root of a secret that could affect everyone at the Exposition. They do get to do some sightseeing and even make some new friends, however not all of them turn out to be real friends. As usual the characters and settings are brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative. I also felt transported back to Paris during the 1889 Paris Exposition due to all the added historical details. The plot twists kept me guessing as to the outcome of the story and as usual I was hooked throughout. Another enjoyable and engaging novel featuring Emma and her team, and I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is my favorite of this series so far. Each of these can be read as a stand alone but it would be helpful to have some background information on the relationships between all the characters.

A mysterious invitation has appeared Emma, Jeremy, Tim, and Dora. They are expected to leave the next day for a 5 week vacation in Paris. Everything is paid for and arranged....not one bit weird, right?!?!? Of course, Emma's hackles are immediately up but she's not one to turn down a challenge.

The group arrives in Paris but not without some unexpected and uncomfortable situations. There are 3 people from the ship over that are becoming rather clingy to the group, but not all at once. Julian is more concerned about Emma and Jeremy, while Lenora and Michael buddy up to Tim and Dora.

Next thing, there is the girl in the lobby who looks scared. Then someone comes up missing, a few bodies are found, and the trip is in full swing work mode for this group. Will they ever get to enjoy the City of Lights and the Paris Expedition?

Lovers of crime set in historical settings will love this book!! It was an enjoyable afternoon read. There is plenty of action involved along with a smidge of romance (nothing overly done at all). I love reading about Emma and her clothing and how she uses it to her advantage and has taught Dora the same. I am excited to read the next edition of this series!!

All of these books have been great. I can't wait to see how the author wraps them up in the seventh book. These books all flow so well and the pages fly by quickly as they are so hard to put down. In this book the gang goes on an all expenses paid trip to Paris. They don't know who their benefactor is, they just know that they have less than 24 hours to pack their bags. It also just so happens that the Paris Exposition is also happening. A stranger befriends Emma and Jeremy on the ship while an older couple befriends Dora and Tim. Will they be friend or foe? Of course the crew gets tangled up in a few mysteries that challenge their investigative skills. If you like investigative mysteries any one of these books can be a great starting point.

Off all the Notebook mysteries this is my favourite cover ❣️📚 and I couldn’t wait to discover what Paris held in store for us ….

Who in their right mind turns down an all paid trip to Paris !? I get their reservations and suspicions but let’s not look a gift horse in the mouth , right !?

Imagine being part of those to see the Eiffel Tower ! So our quartet make friends along the way but all is not as it seems and people are not always what they give forth….our friends need to keep their wits about themselves …

A lot of effort went into this story and there’s a certain realism to it which makes one live the story while reading ❣️📚 I’m ready to pack my bags and travel back in time to old school Paris ❣️

Notebook Mysteries~Parisian Intrigue is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries series by Kimberly Mullins. In this book, we follow Emma on an all-expenses paid trip to Paris along with Jeremy, Dora, and Tim. Although this trip is suspicious to them, they cannot resist the opportunity to experience the city of Paris. As usual, this is a wonderfully written story. There are two mysteries starring a young and bodies turning up. This story is full of mystery, intrigue, and twists. Emma is one of my favorite characters and it is fun to take a look at how her relationships have deepened and how she constantly gets better as a sleuth. I love this series so much!

French mystery adventure
This brilliant sleuthing mystery continues with Book 6 in the Notebook Mysteries series. Emma, Jeremy and the crew are invited to Paris under suspicious circumstances as two mysteries unfold simultaneously. I love how this author can bring so much to the plate in a seamless patchwork of engaging twists and turns. This is a favourite series of mine and what an amazing addition this is. Highly recommend!

The author takes readers on a trans-Atlantic voyage to a World’s fair-type of expo, held in Paris in 1889. The details about the exposition were interesting. I especially enjoyed the details concerning the Eiffel Tower. Two mysteries overlap within this tale. Readers will enjoy the details as well as the setting of this latest in this series, although it can certainly be enjoyed without having read its predecessors.

Loved this next book in this wonderful series. Emma finds herself heading to Paris when a mysterious all expense paid trip is placed in front of her. Emma, Jeremy, Dora and Tim have no idea who wants them in Pais but decide to take the free trip. Soon it becomes apparent that whoever the benefactor is does not have good intentions.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one didn’t disappoint. Emma and Jeremy, along with Dora and Tim, receive an anonymous invite to Paris for the Paris Exposition. The mystery starts out right away with the group trying to find out who sent such an extravagant invitation. Another intriguing mystery I highly recommend.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Parisian is the sixth book in the historical crime series Notebook Mysteries by Kimberly. Make sure to read them all in order even though they could be read as standalones, but you get to learn about Emma and watch her grow. I was excited to see Kimberly had another Notebook Mystery for me to get my hands on.
I have grown to love with the multi-layered characters Emma and Jeremy who once again put their super sleuthing skills to the test in Gay Paree and the 1889 Paris Exposition. Having been to Paris makes it all the more exciting because it makes it easier to imagine the places and goings on.
Kimberly has become one of my favourite writers and her narrative draws you into the intrigue and mystery, suspense and drama. The story is well written, and I was invested and engrossed with every twist and turn from start to finish.
This adventure has it all to keep the pages turning from danger to murder to kidnappings to threats and crime and much more. It’s easy to get lost in with the vivid scenes of Paris from the city lights to the Eiffel Tower to the river Seine.
If you love an historic sleuthing story, then this great new addition to the series is for you.

This is the 6th book in the series and it’s still going strong. Once again there are mysteries which the group help to investigate, this time in Paris.

Once again, the author’s writing style makes the experience so much more enjoyable. On top of the great plot, the descriptive language paints vivid pictures of both scenery and the characters. The writing flows well making it easier to follow and research was clearly conducted into the era.

There are twists and turns to leave you guessing and you can’t help but try to piece everything together with the characters.

I look forward to the next book in the series.

It is 1889 when Emma and family return and this time they have been given an all expenses paid trip to Paris, so as they prepare for the very short notice excursion, they wonder who is behind it. It is out of the blue, but it is something none of them want to miss out on, especially when they find out that there will be a special exposition on at the same time.

The trip involves a few trains and a boat across the ocean, so Emma is excited that she isn't on her own this time and that Jeremy, Dora and Tim can enjoy the experience with her. The first night, all four find new people to get to know and so they split the journey between new found friends and family, but they don't mix together and that puts Emma on edge.

When they get to Paris, they are surprised with their hotel, it is much nicer than expected and bigger too, settle in and make a plan for what they want to see at the exposition over the next few days. As they explore the sights and sounds of the halls, their new friends seem to appear everywhere they do and unusual things start happening to and around them.

They think they can finally have some peace and quiet until a young girl arrives on their doorstep looking for Emma and collapses, when she wakes up, there are more questions than answers for the dynamic duo. Meanwhile, Dora and Tim become privy to a secret they wished they had never found out, but can they solve the intrigue surrounding it by themselves?

This is another thrilling mystery on a beautiful setting as secrets, lies and technology mix to form a dangerous and twisted web around the four intrepid investigators until all the loose ends are ties up in this race to uncover dangerous plots and marvellous discoveries.

Emma, Jeremy, Dora, and Tim receive an anonymous gift of a trip to Paris during the time of the Exposition. After checking to make sure the gift is legit, they hop aboard a train to get to the ship that takes them across the pond to France. Both couples make new friends on the trip over, and Emma has a hard time adjusting to the idea of not having Dora to herself. She finds herself feeling suspicious of Dora and Tim's new "friends". She tries to put those fears aside and just enjoy the trip, but too many "happenings" pop up to keep it all as innocent as it seems. Of course, there is mystery and hijinks happening... I mean, it's Emma! How could there not be? As the mysteries begin to pile up, Emma finds that her reputation precedes her, which works out fortuitously for all involved!

I truly enjoy this series! The antics, the banter, the characters, they all draw me into the story and time. The author does a fantastic job of finding historical stories and adding her characters into the mix of what could have been happening behind the scenes. The amount of detail and care taken to describe what is going on around them and how the characters feel about what is happening was perfect for me. I felt like I could see their expressions and excitement as they first beheld the Exposition and all of its grandeur. I felt the crush of the crowds as they tried to work their way inside or out of exhibits. It was engaging and very well thought out. I look forward to the next one!

Emma and Jeremy are in the swig of their business, until one day an invitation arrives for them to travel to Paris, although at first this seems like a gracious gift from a benefactor it all seems just too perfect. Although to there better judgement they decide to take the trip and explore the sights of Paris and the Exposition which is due to be there too.

So while they are seeing the sights and wonderful innovations Emma and Jeremy stumble upon a girl who requires there help but as soon as they are helping her she vanishes, can they find her an understand what is going on, while Dora and Tim are caught up in a plot which they have been told about regarding the exposition, can they race against the time and find out what is really going on, you will have to read the book.

This is the sixth book in the series and although this is a series each book can be read as a standalone, the nice thing in reading the whole series is you get to see the relationship grow between Emma and Jeremy over the time and how the whole crew got together.

I love the historical aspect of the story and the vivid descriptions and words feel like you are transported back to 1889 and experiencing all this with the characters of the book. I love the way these stories weave a web and thrilling adventures that feel like you are with the characters and helping them solve the mysterious as you go along.

I can't wait to keep reading more and look forward to the next book in this series.

This series keeps getting better! “Parisian Intrigue: Notebook Mysteries Book 6” has a gorgeous cover! It begins with an unexpected invitation for Emma, Jeremy, Dora, and Tim to take an expenses-paid trip to Paris. The offer comes from a mysterious art society that none of them have heard of. What’s more, if they accept, they must leave the next day. Emma and Jeremy are suspicious about the strange invitation, but they want to see Paris and attend the exposition. Besides, it is an opportunity to see Emma’s father and Jeremy’s mother, who are in Paris. So, they all go. On the ocean voyage to France, Emma and Jeremy are befriended by a dubious man who asks many questions while revealing next to nothing about himself. Meanwhile, Tim and Dora become friendly with a married couple who seem determined to avoid Emma and Jeremy.
In Paris, Emma and Jeremy tackle two separate puzzling mysteries while they attempt to see the sights of Paris and visit the exhibits at the exposition. There is non-stop action, brushes with danger, and a wealth of twists and turns in the story before the exciting conclusions to the two separate capers. I love how the author skillfully revolves her plots around true historic events! This is a thrilling and entertaining installment of the series that will delight readers!

This is the 6th book in the Notebook Mysteries series. These books can be read as a standalone however I do recommend reading them in order so you get a complete picture of the characters and how they have grown throughout the series.
This is a great historical mystery story. The author does an amazing job of researching the time period and the attention to detail really pays off as the past comes alive and the reader is transported to that time period. This story like the others are full of twists and turns, danger, intrigue, Mysteries, secrets and lies that Emma and her companion have to unravel and solve to be able to solve the mystery.
The team are in Paris for a big event and while they are there 2 Mysteries appear. One is a young woman who appears and disappears. What is it that she wants or needs and and can Emma and Jeremy help her? The second mystery happens when Dora is told a secret which could have a devastating effect on the exposition. Should she investigate and try and solve this with the help for Tim or will it be to late?

I was completely captivated by this story and couldn't put it down until i reached the end. I love the characters growth through this series and how strong, confident and resilient Emma has now become. I can't wait to read more

Parisian Intrigue is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries series by Kimberly Mullins. This is a fabulous historical mystery with crime and investigation, intrigue, drama, family, friendship, travels, and adventure.
The series goes from strength to strength, with each new addition slightly eclipsing the last. Ms. Mullins me engrossed right from the outset. I was immersed in all the adventure, and sights and sounds of the Paris world fair, while I followed along to find out how everything would play out in the end.
I also found the historical notes at the end of the book were quite fascinating too.
This could be read as a standalone, if you wanted, without feeling like you are missing anything major. But having said that, I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one, as I feel that knowing what happened previously will give you a far greater appreciation of the characters, motivations, and series foundations- as well as enhancing your reading experience of this book.
Looking forward to seeing what Emma (and the team) get up to next…..
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Kimberly Mullins!

Notebook Mysteries Parisian Intrigue is Book Six in the Notebook Mysteries Series. It is a Historical Crime novel set in 1889 and centers around the character of a young girl named Emma. I have read all the books in this series and am always impressed by the author’s writing style. I love how the author takes inspiration from actual crimes that took place between 1881-1890. Emma’s latest adventure takes place with the beautiful backdrop of Paris when Emma is invited to attend the 1889 Paris Exposition. She sets out on a fun-filled, leisure-filled, trip with close friends but it does not take long before she finds herself immersed in new mysteries. Emma finds herself trying to solve two mysteries at once and one of those mysteries could affect the Paris Exposition. The author has done a wonderful job of creating interesting storylines, against the beautiful backdrop of Paris, with fantastic characters that one becomes easily invested in. I have loved the character of Emma since the first book. She is smart, feisty, determined, tenacious, and well ahead of her time. This was a great book full of action, suspense, danger, intrigue, and mystery. I highly recommend!

I love how the story of Emma and Jeremy has progressed. Not just their characters but all of them. I have loved this series and this book did not disappoint.

This time Emma and Jeremy are able to travel with Dora and Tim (Emma’s sister and brother in law) and go abroad. They land in Paris, France during the exposition.

Of course this trip quickly turns into solving several mysteries but keeps you guessing on all of them. They were invited on this trip, all expenses paid but who invited them? Who is footing this bill? Mysteriously a girl shows up to their room but no one believes her that she was originally there with her mom. What’s the deal with the missing woman? Is there a group against electricity? Will they cause havoc during the exposition?

Now this particular book was full of loosely based facts and based loosely on real people/events. Which this is what I love about this series. It pulls you in because you want to know what trouble Emma is going to come across next but the author does an amazing job at adding in historical facts which keeps it authentic. I truly hope we are able to continue following Emma and Jeremy some more!

Notebook Mysteries - Parisian Intrigue
By: Kimberly Mullins

This is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries Series. I have read several of them, but not all of the books. They are all able to be read as a standalone. I definitely enjoyed each and everyone I have read.
Emma is definitely one of my favorite mystery heroines of all time. Emma and her friends have been invited to Paris on an all expenses paid trip. While they are suspicious about the invitation, they aren’t about to turn down a free trip. Therefore, they aren’t shocked when weird things start happening, starting with clingers on on the ship to Paris.
I have absolutely loved how this series has developed. I feel that this is an amazing series and Emma is just a enjoyable character. I love how the author writes and the amount of details she puts in each story. She puts enough detail into the setting that you feel that you are there, I feel like I successfully traveled to Paris back during 1889. I would have loved to go see the world’s exposition back then.
If you are looking for a good mystery series with an outstanding heroine look no further!

This was the first book in the Notebook Mysteries series that I've read, and I must say that Kimberly Mullins did not disappoint. I will be going back and reading these books in order and cannot wait to reread this book once I've got all of the backstories read. As a standalone novel, this book had me intrigued, I loved how the characters were developed so strongly that I understood them right away, there was no doubt that they were there to solve a mystery and would be successful without a doubt. I love the fact that this not only draws attention to the characters, but you get to experience the beauty of Paris and the excitement around the Eiffel Tower. The setting was portrayed perfectly, I felt like I could reach out and feel the scenery as it went by, I was on the train with all of our characters. I was in doubt of who was a friend and who was a foe, developing a deep mistrust for several of our new characters that are a part of the story. This is a great mystery book, and I am excited to go back and reexperience it all anew as I pour over the previous books in the series. If you love a good mystery book, this series is definitely for you!

Notebook Mysteries ~ Parisian Intrigue (Notebook Mysteries Book 6) by Kimberly Mullins

Parisian Intrigue is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries Series and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is just as good as the last and you get learn all about the characters and pretty much watch them with each story. This is a Historical Mystery that is packed with adventure, drama, action, mystery and so much more. This author has knocked it out of the park once again. I could vividly picture Paris in 1889 and everything else as well. This one we find Emma and Jeremy along with Tim and Dora going to the Paris Exposition where they find themselves not only working one mystery but two. We follow them along the way as they do their thing. You’ll find yourself lost in the pages as you turn them to find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.

Parisian Intirgue is the 6th book in the Notebook Mysteries Series. While it could probably be read without reading the other books, I wouldn't recommend it. The series is really great, and I've really gotten to know the characters over time. This book takes place in Paris, during the unveiling of the Eiffel Tower, where Emma and Jeremy, and her sister Dora and her husband Tim have gone on vacation. They received a letter with free tickets, and while they assumed there was ulturior motive, they decided to go. Like all the stories, Emma is found in the middle of drama and crime and saves the day. I love seeing the strong women characters, and the support she has from her family. Emma goes way against the norm of women at her time, but her family and friends are beyond supportive. This book is a page turner, and I love that there is a little bit of history tied in. I loved that the author made Dora and Emma's dad part of the Eiffel Tower building committee, and the tie in of electricity. Can't wait for the next book. Keep them coming!!

Parisian Intrigue is the sixth book in the Notebook Mysteries series. I love this series, and I'm always excited about reading the next book! Emma is a sleuth solving mysteries in the late 19th Century. Her adventures often coincide with interesting historical events - in this case, we get to visit the Paris Exposition! That's one of the top things I'd go to if I had a time machine so it's wonderful to be able to see it in the story.

The setting of this book is great, the author paints a vivid picture of everything from the boat they travel to Europe on to the wonders of the exposition. It's a wonderfully immersive read!

I like that Dora and Tim come along for the adventure. It's good to learn more about those characters and see how they get involved in different situations.

I'd recommend reading the whole series - it's great! And you get to know the characters properly. But you could jump in here if you've got a particular interest in the Paris Exposition. It gets five stars from me!

Great book! Sleuth Emma astounds once again in a grand Paris adventure!

Our intrepid detectives Emma and Jeremy take sister Dora and her husband on a cryptic Parisian tour to see the turn-of-the-century Grand Exposition. Filled with historical details and mysterious twists and turns, this adventure has it all: kidnaps, murder, threatened children, nefarious manipulations, and even cameo appearances by leading scientific luminaries of the day!

The characters we have come to love are thrown into a confusing muddle with two overlapping mysteries and danger on the Parisian avenues. I really enjoyed how seamlessly the author wove details of the newly blossoming scientific advances, architecture, and the grand old hotels into the narrative. And Emma’s keen detective skills save the day in a very satisfying end.

I can highly recommend this fun romp along the Seine. This is a great addition to the Notebook Mystery series.

What a delightful installment to the series. This time Emma has taken us on a journey to Paris and the Paris Exposition. I love how the mystery started right off. Who sent the tickets? Who is this society? ????? The author does such a nice job of setting things up right from the beginning. You just can't help but being pulled right in. Things are never as they seem with Emma's mysteries and she will always get to the bottom of it. I found the writing to be wonderfully detailed. Such extravagant details of the food and the lifestyle, it felt like you were there. The journeys to get there, hearing about Tim and Dora's friendships, so much going on and yet, so easy to keep up with. I enjoy this series and this author's writing. The characters are always so colorful. I enjoyed this one and I cannot wait for the next in the series.

This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. This is the sixth book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books. This will help with your enjoyment of this series as well as the characters. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. Emma and her friends are back with another mystery full of suspense. She is my favorite character in this series. She is a great character that adds so much to the story. I enjoyed the growth of the characters and plot throughout the story. They pull you into the story with ease and keep your attention there until the end. This is a hard to put down, fast paced, engaging story that the author used their writing skills to not only bring the story to life but realistic as well. I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it
