On this Easter Sunday we display a decidedly un-Easter-ish poem from Jo Walton, “Nemi,” originally published in the author’s LiveJournal blog.
Jo Walton writes science fiction and fantasy novels and reads a lot and eats great food. It worries her slightly that this is so exactly what she always wanted to do when she grew up. She comes from Wales, but lives in Montreal.
(Not at all related to anything, but man, I miss having the time to read books. I'm sneaking in what I can in between sorting through generations of papers, but it's just not the same. I want to be in space, in a book, not shredding checks and bills from the early 80s. Or copies of every single year of taxes my parents filed, starting back in 1973. Oy vey.)
