This book was like a sinful summery dessert. Super sweet, fluffy with not too much nutritional value. You wouldn't want to eat it every day but it's fun to indulge once and a while. I'm a sucker for sci-fi erotica and this one didn't disappoint (yeah! I've discovered another awesome author). Katrina "Kat" is kidnapped from Earth and put up for sale at a space station. Luckily, Gol and Hul find and buy her. Women are very rare on their world so Kat is highly cherished. Oh did I forget to mention that Gol and Hul have 2 other brothers Ric and Div and they are by the way identical quadruplets who are 7 feet tall with red skin...yowzah!

✧ Como podrán imaginarse por la discreta portada de este libro, tenemos una historia de erótica entre Kat, una chica que fue secuestrada de la Tierra para ser vendida como esclava sexual en otra galaxia a millones de años de distancia. Ahí es comprada por los hermanos Gol, Hul, Ric y Dev, militares cuatrillizos que provienen de un planeta en donde los 4 hermanos adquieren a una misma mujer para hacerla su esposa y son veneradas por ser muy escasas. Kat siente atracción por estos hermanos desde el principio y ellos no pueden evitar caer rendidos a sus pies y dejarse llevar por la pasión que ella les despierta. Pero no solo la quieren para tener sexo, sino también para ser la mujer de sus vidas, para eso deben dejarla en libertad y que ella pueda elegirlos de entre todos los hombres de su planeta.

✧ La historia es simple y llanamente puro sexo, tenemos a estos 4 tipos dándole placer a Kat hasta dejarla sin sentido, tienen un enamoramiento súper rápido en donde a las pocas horas de haberse conocido ya se aman. Hay una pequeña subtrama en donde tienen que rescatarla tras ser secuestrada por segunda vez, pero que se resuelve en unas cinco páginas para volver a presentarnos a los cinco dándose el lote. Es de esas historias en las que tienes que tener muy presente que pues realmente estás leyendo ficción, porque no hay ningún sentido en todo lo que está pasando y no me refiero al hecho de qué hay alienígenas, sino más bien a que lo que ocurre a nivel sexual y en cómo se lleva a cabo la vida de estas personas.

✧ Es un libro publicado en el 2012, así que tampoco puedo pedirle peras al olmo, tienen varios temas un poco mal tratados como la forma en que presentan a Kat como un objeto para dar placer a los cuatro hermanos y posteriormente darles hijos; lo que si que me gustó es que cuando tiene que defenderse ella es muy feroz y no se deja de nadie, y también el que la protagonista tuviera sobrepeso y que se toca el tema muy superficialmente. Es una historia muy cortita por lo que se lee súper rápido y el estilo narrativo de la autora hace que uno quiera seguir leyendo a cuatro extraterrestres tratando como a una Diosa a una chica.

~ 4 Cosmic Bounty Stars ~

I have a hard time finding good Alien Sci-Fi Romance books. They can be corny or a little to out there for me, but I decided why not try this book out. The description also added to my choice in picking Cosmic Bounty up. It just sounded interesting and something I would enjoy, so here we are. I am glad I discovered Angela Castle and The Quads of Galafrax.

Cosmic Bounty is book one in The Quads of Galafrax series by Angela Castle. Its a fast read with some action and steamy loving.

The story/plot is not complicated. I also liked the world portrayed by Ms. Castle and how the author tells us about the Demos, their culture, and relationships they have. Each Demos man is unique and you can tell that they each have their own personalities even for being identical, they are different. The sex will get your blood pumping and set the sheets on fire. I liked Kat our heroine. She is a strong women, accepts her fate of not every going back to earth, and learns that maybe she can find what she needs with these Quad brothers. We do have some alien-language misunderstands, a bit of danger, and some weird alien rules that make for an enjoyable story.

If you enjoy alien sci-fi erotic romances, then this book is for you. It’s a quick read with four very hot sexy read aliens who will love and cherish their women.

I enjoyed this book but so much went unexplained and undeveloped. So we know that Kat was abducted, but how does she end up understanding all these alien's? I find it hard to believe that they all speak English and we do know that they have a different language so what gives on an explanation? Next, I LOVED the whole idea of Kat being adopted and taken in by another family before she bonds. *cricket sounds* umm, yeah... That could have been developed in SOOOO many ways that it wasn't. It was like the author had this great idea and then just gave up. There were like two scenes with her adopted fathers, half a scene with her adopted mother who said like two lines and only the briefest mention of the family's children who you never meet! WTF? That whole idea could have made this book, and yet it just fell flat. And then the end, pink girls, this is ok and kinda cute. PLEASE don't tell me that they will have pink son's! I can do red and blue, maybe even orange, green and yellow, depending on the shade I could even do purple. But don't ever, EVER do pink men! Yes, some men can pull of pink and still be masculine if it is done right. But if you give me a pink man, alien or just wearing a shit load of pink, I'm going to have to ask them for there man card.

So yeah, other than that it was pretty good. lol

Sometimes you just want to read about a regular girl getting pursued/sexed up by multiple hot alien men, and fortunately there are books like this to scratch that itch.

It’s not that deep, there’s only so much development you can have in around 100 pages, but it’s a fun romp if you aren’t expecting anything more than that.

This was a great mixture of Hot and steamy. The author does a good job of not sacrificing character development and story for smut. The hot and steamy works well this was a really good read.

Second time thru and I think I liked it more the second time. Book 3 just came out and I wanted to refresh my memory about the series. I enjoyed it a lot.

Book 4 just came out so I decided to give this another reread. Looking forward to book 4.

This is book 1 of Quads of Galafrax. This story is of an Earth female who is taken prisoner by a slave trader. She is flown to another galaxy. There she meets a set of Quad soldiers. They save her and she finds out what multiples can do to a woman and her libido. This is a good start to a series.

alien smutty fun, thats what this is... I am a sucker for the 'mars needs women' trope and 'virgin' heroes, ok not really virgins but sort of and obsessed with human women. they are all a bunch of cinnamon roll hotties... I read all 4 books in the series, basically wash, rinse, repeat for every book so nothing really new happens. Even the spice is the same, nothing changed in each book which disappointing. Just a few different action plot lines with each but essentially the female leads and the male leads were the same. Low angst, easy to read, don't expect to get to know anyone in great depth, all very surface level, sometimes funny lol moments, writing was ok, the occasional misspelled word and a bit of world building even though its all been done before. My only gripe, in one of the books specifically, the female lead is so white almost albino, is hailed as the most beautiful of all and the one of the side characters is a women of color and she is made to be very rude and antagonistic. The author really went out of her way to let you know that the curvy albino white character is the best and not like the others. No other women of colour representation at all in these books, which is something you see a lot of in these types of books. Authors should do better than that. Apparently the only women allowed to be kidnapped by hottie aliens is white women. It gets annoying.

Debo decir que me sorprendí mucho con este libro.

No es la joya de la literatura pero es una historia con una trama interesante, es un mundo muy nuevo y te da curiosidad descubrir más acerca de cómo funciona todo.

La historia llega a ser adictiva y lo único que quieres hacer en cierto punto es seguir leyendo para conocer más de este universo. La ventaja de que el libro es corto hace que sea uña lectura muy rápida pero agradable, te deja un buen sabor de boca.

Este libro, por si no lo habían notado por la portada, tiene escenas +18 y, aunque no soy la más aficionada de este tipo de escenas, puedo decir que la gran mayoría están muy bien escritas y bien llevadas. Algunas si llegaron a emocionarme y a hacer que me emocionara por la protagonista.

En cuanto a los personajes puedo decir que la protagonista me encanto, es una chica con bastante carácter y muy fuerte de voluntad; me divertí mucho durante algunas escenas porque ella hacía que todo mejorara en la escena. Por otro lado tenemos a 4 hombres alienígenas sexys que son hermanos, realmente para las pocas páginas del libro alcanzamos a conocerlos y entenderlos más a fondo.

Yo creo que es un buen libro si quieres divertirte y leer algo rápido, tiene una trama llamativa que se complementa con los momentos hot.

La verdad es que el argumento de esta historia me llamó mucho la atención, pero cuando vi el número de páginas consideré que posiblemente no me iba a ir bien ya que no habría suficiente papel para ubicar al lector en este nuevo mundo intergaláctico. Sorprendentemente no me fue mal y aunque considero que la historia pudo ser desarrollada a nivel de la imagen poética con descripciones y quizás un poco más de acción, el romance y el sexo pusieron la cereza sobre el pastel. Sin mentir me encantó esos pequeños aspectos feministas que puso la autora en este nuevo mundo, como el de que los hombres eran los responsables de usar control natal, hombre, eso me gustó mucho y pensándolo bien, esa sería una solución vital para este crecimiento descontrolado en la población actual, además de que resolvería muchos problemas que son consecuencia como la falta de hogar, trabajo y un buen estilo de vida.
Como toda historia están estos aspectos no totalmente planeados y que vuelven un poco increíble la historia, como el hecho de que diferentes razas de aliens por arte de magia hablen inglés. Lo dejé pasar porque todo fue entretenido y la verdad me gusto mucho, mucho, mucho.
Al ser un relato un poco corto no hay mucho desarrollo pero creo que la autora lo llevó bien, por eso las 4 estrellas, igualmente espero conocer más de este mundo nuevo con los siguientes libros -si logro conseguirlos-.
Esta historia la recomiendo para las románticas empedernidas que les gusta el picante sexual y erótico. Muy bueno.

Angela Castle has written an interesting story that has me re-reading it often. The main character is a little helpless at times, however what I find unique is the way the author manages to give the main character strong qualities in particular areas of the book. I love that this is a quick and easy read. After reading multiple sci-fi romances I find this book is one of my favourites.

Read this in one sitting. Not bad, but not stupendous either. I'm curious why authors of this sci-fi romance genre think that good books are only 100 or so pages long. It's hard to build a story in so little time, and in most cases, the books could be really good if they had more development. Like this book. If there was more to it, I likely would have loved it. But as it was only, dare I say, 100 pages, it just didn't satisfy me enough.

I will say, however, that it wasn't as painful as I though it was going to be. Sometimes the dialogue in these types of books made me inwardly cringe and shudder, but overall this one was bearable. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it though.

I enjoyed the book it was a nice bit of escapism from the day to day chores. Although the part where she got captured when she was out shopping reminded me a little of a similar scene from Claimed by Evangeline Anderson.

This was my second reading of this book, same opinion as last time it is a lovely bit of escapism.

Not bad for a short story. Of course everything is accelerated because it is short. I like the fact that you get to know the reasoning behind the decisions she makes to have sex. It isn't just an overwhelming attraction. Although that is there too. I like the practice of the woman having to be free before she can marry. Makes it more her choice and less being forced/coerced into it.

I think 4 brothers were unnecessary. We really only got glimpses of the personalities other than Huv, who was the dominating one.

But having said that, I did enjoy this. Nice fluffy space romp. Quite predictable for the most part. But still enjoyable.

Decent story line. I liked that the author made each one of the brothers distinct and likable. Katrina is no wilting flower. I enjoyed her spunk. She made the best of what was delt her with out turning into a weeping mess.
