After studying business and philosophy, and also voracious reader since childhood, she writes and publishes since 1995. She first published her texts in literary reviews but wrote poetry as well such as"Perpendiculaire","Nioques","Hiems" or "Le bord de l'eau". Then in 2000, Maurice Nadeau publishes "Congélations et décongélations", and other treatments applied to circumstances in 2000, followed by "Mes vêtements ne sont pas des draps de lit" in 2001. In 2006 appeared in the Fiction & Cie collection of the publisher Seuil "Comment faire disparaître la terre ?". She is also the author of several radio plays for France Culture, a play on the ecological question ("Laissez-nous juste le temps de vous détruire", 2012), and regularly gives public lectures, derived from books in which fit short video's.
Her books with a critical point of view deal with some features of our contemporary lives, such as the pervasiveness of technology, the "woman of thirty," the transformation of cities, the pursuit of happiness, finance, roundabouts shaped by municipal services, the movie kiss, suffering at work, tourism ... They deal with the confrontation of intimate demands with social requirements.
These books are balancing between poetry and a novel. Her compositions are mixing narrative fiction, reflection and poetic structures. Noting the importance of language use in our information and communication society, they use in an often comical way various textures of the written or oral, scholarly or colloquial language.
They also reflects on the forms of literature, a more theoretical point of view in the context of a course on the current literary creation, as well as lectures and articles of literary criticism, and in particular in the article "Fictions documentaires" published in the book Devenirs du roman.
Public lectures, conferences and performances in which she shows and discusses image slideshows, photos or videos, take into account the situation of co-presence with the public to change the written form, these readings do not involve direct reading of passages from books, but rework some of the themes of the books, to make things smaller, transportable.
