The thrilling and highly anticipated second book in The O’Farrell Brothers Trilogy is here.
Killian
I never understood when they said it wasn’t easy being an O’Farrell.
Until now.
I never wanted to fall in love, not again, not after she left.
But now, she’s back, and I was going to be damned if I would put her through the life she never wanted. Only…I can’t seem to walk away this time. I can’t be away from her.
My enemies know I love her. They know to hurt me, they need to use her.
And there will be hell to pay if they so much as look at her the wrong way.
Sloane
They call him the calm assassin, but I know him as Killian.
He was my first love, and the first heartbreak.
Now, after being widowed for years, I find myself back in his life.
But I don’t think I can walk away so easily this time.
After multiple people trying to kill me, purely for the fact that I was in his life, I found I was wanting to protect him more than protecting myself from danger.
Will the calm assassin keep the only woman to ever have his heart safe or will she fall prey to his enemies just like all women in the O’Farrell family did.
there will be some triggering scenes. If you are easily triggered, please take care.
It is recommended you read Book 1 in the series first.
Kate grew up in Western Sydney, in Australia, and remains there today. She has always loved the written word, being influenced by the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, JR Ward and Anne Rice, she ventured into writing at a young age.
Finally taking the plunge in 2016 and publishing for the first time. Ever since, she’s been trying to bring the worlds she’s created in her head to the page for everyone else to enjoy as much as she does.
When she’s not writing, she’s looking after her bevvy of pets including snakes, lizards, axolotls, birds, a turtle and a dog with her husband Kyle.
4.5! Dual POV and the next brother? Yesss! Sloane coming back into his life after he was her first everything .. so difficult. However, this leads to Killian giving touch her and there will be hell to pay vibes? ATE IT UP. Their whole storyline was just .. ahh I could not turn the pages fast enough!
I received this ARC and am leaving this review voluntarily, all thoughts/opinions above are my own.
Killian by Kate Bonham is book two in The O'Farrell Brothers Series. After reading the first book Conor, I knew without a doubt that I had to read this one. I think I found my new favorite brother! I absolutely loved this book, I read it cover to cover! Not once did I ever put my kindle down. This book was so well done, the pace/flow was great and kept me hooked all the way until the last line. I’m addicted to this series. I really loved reading Killian and Sloane coming back together. The intensity was great as was the suspense. I highly recommend these brothers!!!
Killian - The O’Farrell Brothers - Book 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Killian is book two in The O'Farrell Brothers Series.
I absolutely loved the first book Conor, and knew without hesitation and a few delicate hints to Kate Bonham that I absolutely must read this one.
I thought I found my new favorite brother in Connor (Book 1) but I believe I’ll have to rethink that after finishing Killian! This story was brilliant with a pace that kept me hooked to the very last line. Wonderful characters, serious heat and a brilliantly crafted plot, tying together the pieces of the O’Farrell brothers lives.
Reading Killian and Sloane’s rekindling relationship gave this story such depth with intensity and a suspenseful flair that locked me to my kindle till the end. I highly recommend these brothers!!! Totally addicted to this series.
“I was an O’Farrell and for the rest of my life, I’d never love again.”
The love lost, the life lived without her. Her life without him. 15 years. 15 years and they still seem to come back into each others web.
Kate Bonham is back in book two of the O’Farrell brothers series. After reading Conor I was excited to see the other brothers have their time in the spotlight. Killian is here for his time to shine and a look inside our middle child O’Farrell. Also I love dual POV! I did enjoy this more than Conor, I also was super keen to see Sloane and Killians story.
Killian is fast paced, full of action, secrets and betrayal. A world full of the underbelly of crime and what being it or related to it can do to one’s relationships. Also I freaking love Killian and Sloane! Mega touch her and d!3 vibes!
Can’t wait to read Lorcan next, I need to see inside his head. NEEEEEED to see his POV!
3⭐️Okay, I sat on this review for a couple of days because there were a few things that influenced my experience of this book.
I found myself getting really easily distracted throughout the first 50% of the book so I didn’t feel enmeshed or entranced by the second chance characters. I didn’t really feel connected to it. It also felt a bit repetitive at times the dialogue and their experience of each other.
The second half of the book I enjoyed more. I still didn’t really feel much from the characters. The world is interesting enough. I like the interconnection of the players. The spice was awesome. I just felt like it’s a bit of a plateau, for me didn’t really peak so yeah that’s all I got really.
Second chance for Sloane and Killian, her best friend and sister in law falling for Killian’s brother Conor was a blessing in disguise for them. Sloane fights her feelings for him but she loves him and always has, he loves her so much he keeps trying to let her go and live the same life she wanted which she does…. Straight in to more danger and betrayal but he will always come for her
Killian and sloane love story they met in high school the next Irish mafia the next enemy Lukas Porter to be feared sloane taking care of her drunk daddy and Killian saved her from a drunk walking home Killian the calm assassin in waiting.
