After having written seven contemporary romance novels, Stewart found true happiness writing murder and mayhem. She considers herself one lucky son of a gun to have landed the best job in the world: getting paid for making up stories. At home. In sweats and J. Crew flip flops. Could life be sweeter?
I read this short story a few months ago and forgot to record it. Mariah Stewart is a good writer, and this s a good short story. It is somewhat simplistic as is required to tell a story in just a few pages, but still it is an interesting read.
Really liked the romantic short e-story - fell in love with the characters (chef Jodi) at local Bishop Inn B&B and (Jeremy Noble) PI and former FBI with a haunted past. Both travel to Ocean Point, NJ for some vacation time and the spot where Jeremy had to come to terms with his past. (Look forward to hearing more from these characters)!
An entertaining novella of two people who meet at a time when pursuing their attraction is not feasible, but can't forget each other. A few months later, he goes in search of her, even after finding out that she's vacationing in a place he'd sworn he never return. But love wins out, taking him back much more than he expected.
