This book tells the chronological order of Led Zeppelin live shows and achievements. From how Jimmy Page and Paul Jones started the group, how they ended The Beatles' eight year reign as the top group in the chart and how they become successful in both the UK and US. It has a lot of great pictures and information. A good book for Led Zeppelin fans and lovers!
Definitely one of the better illustrated Led Zeppelin biographies I’ve read! The photographs are great and it summarizes the band’s legacy quite well, albeit it doesn’t really get into conspiracy / band gossip or anything juicy about the Aleister Crowley connections with Jimmy’s fascination with the occult. The narrative is fast-paced but it still gets a good grasp on their overall timeline. I’d imagine most people who pick this book over one that’s purely written text are more drawn to photographs anyway, so this serves it’s purpose.
