For the majority of us, masturbation is the most widespread sexual practice, and for the majority of males, it is the first sexual experience of their lives. However, it remains the most unmovable taboo in Western morality.

The storm will pass; masturbation will henceforth become a right. It will be deemed lawful, good, agreeable, beautiful, convenient, simple, excellent, decent, meritable, useful, valuable, happy, frequent, habitual, ordinary, comprehensive, exciting, appetizing, attractive, captivating, recreative, interesting, stimulating, passionate and a tonic.

Dated, but positive take on self pleasure. It's been in my bookcase for 20 years, and I still like seeing the title.

É um livro pequenininho que eu tinha começado a ler faz um tempo já e fui intercalando com outras leituras. Achei a primeira parte legal porque o autor vai pegar do ponto de vista histórico porque a masturbação virou um tabu, entre o discurso religioso mas principalmente médico. A segunda parte é a parte mais "Éloge" onde ele mostra como a masturbação foi representada nas artes etc. E a última parte é péssima kkkk é ele ensinando as mulheres a se masturbar (não exatamente, mas algo do tipo). Enfim vale a primeira parte, o resto é meio ruim.
