The book could have been more elaborate considering the illustrious life of this great scientist and thinker, nonetheless the book gives the glimpses of his life and work. Within such a short span of life besides having ground-breaking discoveries in astrophysics to nuclear physics, he was the man behind establishing two premier research institutes in India. He was equally enthusiastic about the industrial revolution, river-planning etc in pre and post-independent India. His life was as colorful as the light's spectrum itself.

Most fascinating was to read the article entitled ''সবই ব্যাদে আছে!'' by Saha himself. I heard this term many a times before but this article gave me the clue of it's origin.
