I received this book via an ARC after volunteering for the blog tour which is underway! After reading 10 Nights I was more than ready for more Rhett & Leah! Who wouldn't be after the ending of the first book.

I started Beyond 10 Nights as soon as I received it and once again I swept into the world of Rhett & Leah! I was literally............

We pick up with what might appears to be the start of a happily ever after and if you believe that then................

Yep I'm shocked. Do we get more Rhett? Oh HELL yeah! Is it what you expect from Rhett, hmmm perhaps or perhaps not! Of course, Leah is there and my personal favorites David & Janie! This book had some.....

You know Rhett well he's new to this whole "love" thing and boy oh boy is a mighty possessive man! It was hot but then it got a little......

See our girl Leah is finally figuring out she needs to make it on her own. Nope no help from Rhett or Janie. Well enter into the picture the PERFECT opportunity, Rhett's buddie from boarding school and high school, Alex. Alex gives Leah a intern position at this Company and Alex the DOM and Alex the guy are two different people and Leah begins to see a whole different side to the lifestyle.

Leah and Alex become close, very very close, which had me..........

I felt like I was sitting back waiting for the train wreck. How would Rhet would reac to this? We are dealing with a new Rhett who was dealing with feelings he never felt before and poor guy he didn't know where to put those feelings or better yet how to control his reactions.

There was a point in this book where it just...........................

All hell broke loose big time! We get to see how complex Rhett is! We find out what exactly Alex is into in the ahem "lifestyle". We see the reactions from David & Janie to what's going on around them and most importantly we see Leah sweet little Leah decide she's going to take charge of her life but to what extent? Well, we won't know untill the third and final book is released ;)

Defintely a 5 star read for me! I freaking loved it! I loved the unconventional relationship between Rhett, Leah & Alex! I loved Leah coming out of her "shell" so to speak and ask for what she wanted! I freaking adore David & Janie's relationship and how strong of a couple they appear to be! By the end of this book I was ................

Yes I can't WAIT for the rest of the journey to see what Leah decides in the end! I HIGHLY recommend this follow-up to 10 Nights in the Forbidden Desires Series! I don't think you will be disappointed but I should let you know you will be wanting oh yes wanting much much more :)

I finally get it ...Ms Hughes and her co writer are sadists and have written a book designed to create fury in anyone even slightly interested in the BDSM lifestyle and to dismiss the fact that her readers have a shred of of a brain cell between them.I borrowed these books and after expressing my disgust at the many wrongs in book one I couldn't resist seeing if the despicable Rhett got his comeuppance in this book .
The most laughable part of the whole story is we are told that neither men would ever consider a "vanilla" relationship as the sex would be too boring.Strange that ...since both men involved in this book state clearly that their first time with Leah is the most amazing sex they've ever had and yet both times it's completely vanilla sex they partake in and not even very good vanilla at that.It seems there doesn't have to be the slightest foreplay in Ms Hughes world for the sex to be phenomenal. No breast licking,no sensual kissing or caresses.Nope ...it seems they just have to bang in to her hard and fast and she cums endlessly and they think that's the best ever sex they've had ?? Why ?

In this book we meet Alex ...at last we all cry ...a decent caring type of Dom for our practically virgin heroine! Well ...sort of .Now bear in mind we have a love crazed Leah (who hasn't got a submissive bone in her body by the way despite the author keep telling us she is ).Yet despite this devotion and her agreement to his proposal, after an argument with Rhett she casually trots off and sleeps with Alex !Boy that's commitment huh?
Now throughout the first book and the blurb we are told that Leah has promised herself never to be dependant on any man after her father left her mother ...erm yeah how's that working out for you Leah ?....you took a Lamborghini off Rhett in the first book on the first night and he's bought you at least three wardrobes of clothes and gifts since .Now you practically ask Alex for a job and are happy to take it when offered .One argument with Rhett and instead of taking a hotel for a couple of nights you waltz over and move in with Alex that very same night.Very self sufficient :P

Now comes the fun part ...so you've separated from your psycho Dom and although you still love him more than life you start sleeping with Alex even after you discover that Alex has a kink that makes Rhett look like an angel !

The morning after Rhett's proposal Leah tries to get back her life in order. Rhett is his usual self and Alex comes to change everything. He seems better than Rhett though he is kinkier, he is a pony master. That made me a little angry with everyone in this book because Leah is supposed to have lost her virginity not 2 weeks long and after everything Rhett has put her through. I think the authors write these series just because they want to write a book. The characters are terrible and the plot is nonexistent.

Comparing it to 10 nights you will see that it is tamier. It's not that bad too but still don't buy it unless you want to read what's going to happen next. Leah is overreacting and makes things up in her mind. When did Rhett said that he is going to break up with her????? Never, he didn't even want to break things up. She thought so though, and made a big fuss over it. Plus she found as an excuse their separation and had sex with Alex though she was still dating Rhett.

The only one who seems to change is Rhett, who actually goes to a psychologist and tries to solve his issues so he can be with Leah and both of them be happy. Then to make things a bigger fuck up she suggests she, Alex and Rhett try and have a relationship or something close to that. Does she have something between her ears? Usually I look forward to a relationship like that and that's more than fine with me, but this time it felt wrong and dirty and I did not want them together.

I am a glutton for punishment for wanted to read this book. I would not suggest to anyone to read it.

I'm soooo NOT great at writing reviews...
It takes me back to grade school days... It makes me feel like I'm turning in a book report that is going to SUCK!!!

Ok here it goes....

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! =)
Some of you might find spoilers in my review - so do not read if you do not want to know!! =)

I love that it takes me into a lifestyle I really know nothing about (Google has become my bff – lol) and I find that fascinating and intriguing!!! I WANT MORE!!!!!

I really hope Rhett and Leah get back together or at least start over!!! They did move way to fast but that works for some!!! I just don't think it worked for them!!! They have so much to learn about each other!!! It's like Leah wasn't ok opening up to Rhett (at least not her heart and feelings - she sure didn't mind opening her legs)!!!!! Leah was so open with Alex from the start!!!! Two totally different relationships!!! I hope Rhett gets the help he needs and I hope he doesn't find someone else while he is doing just that!!!

I love that Rhett found the "FIRST LOVE OF HIS LIFE" in Leah!!! I just don't know if she deserves his love?!?!

I can’t wait to see what all Alex shows Leah at the Ranch!!!

I also love Janie and David - I'm excited to see what happens to their relationship at the ranch!!!!

There is sooooo many ways the next book can go!!! I can NOT wait!!!!

I am uncertain how I want to rate this book, so I won't. I loved the 1st book. I thought it was a great sexual story of BDSM and I love a good BDSM book. Book 2 I just did not like as well. I truly grew to hate Alex and Leah. I only wish bad things for them..LOL I hated Jaine as well. With friends like Alex who needs enemies. And Leah really works hard to push Rhett's buttons. I really feel like she gets off on playing the victim. I can't stand her. She is so unworthy of Rhett. Rhett has some serious issues, but he sees his faults and is working on them. I would love to see Rhett with someone who can show him what real love is. Love is not about hurt and betrayal, but about honesty and loyalty. It is someone that will stand by you no matter what and not run and spread their legs to the 1st guy that comes along. Love is something Leah knows nothing about. I am uncertain whether I will buy book 3. I am so not liking where the story is headed. I also do not like the Ranch (pony thing), just a bit over the top there.

Two observations :
Rhett has some way redeemed himself (we learn a lot about his past , whitch explain his behaviour)
Leah is a bitch!!! (how can you say to someone that you love and want only him, and in the next hour jump in another bed enjoying what will happen next )

One advise :
Rhett, run as far away as you can from that bitch!!!!! ... (wish that's will be the advise coming from his psy!)

Yes ok I enjoyed it, but felt let down by Rhett who's character I love. I don't trust Alex he gives me the creeps something missing with that one. Leah well she makes me laugh and if Janie kept her mouth shut I think Leah would make more sensible decisions. Just hoping for book 3 to not be too long in the writing!!! if their is a book 3.

As I read this book I found that the first few chapters where rather dry and uninspiring. I still did not care for the two main characters Rhett and Leah. Rhett was still a egotistical prick and Leah was still as whiny and indecisive as before. Then enters Alex. Finally a character that I could love! The thought and care that Michelle and Karl put into his personality and just the over all character development of him was amazing. Alex is what I wanted Rhett’s character to be like.
As the story progressed I found some of the situations alarming. This is supposed to be a love story but the moment Rhett did something Leah didn’t like she jumped in bed with another man. I couldn’t understand that at all, although I could see why she as attracted to Alex and why it happened. In this book there were a lot of boundaries that were crossed and friendships tested. I felt that if Alex and Rhett were such good friends Alex never would’ve jumped into bed with Leah after only a couple of days of having met her and knowing that she was engaged to Rhett. I felt that in this book the intense and dangerous situations that were revealed were all because of Leah’s constant indecisiveness and bad life choices in general.
As I got to the end of the book I found myself actually starting to like Rhett as I wanted to in the beginning. That he could take a look at himself and see that he needed help let alone admitting it to others and actually seek help was a refreshing change for this series so far. That he made the decision that he did at the end of the book shows how much he changed after the events that had taken place. I believe that Rhett came out of this a changed person and for the better and considerably more likable. I still do not care for Leah because I felt like she didn't learn anything from the events that had taken place and was just proceeding as she always does headfirst with no thoughts to the consequences that her choices make of the lives of other people around her.
This book will take you through many twists and turns and Leah tries to find herself in this second installment of the 10 Nights story. At the conclusion of the story you will find yourself wanting to know what is going to happen next and what new things that Leah will learn about herself and what kind of Master that Alex really is. You will also want to find out what happens with Rhett as he goes through his anger management rehabilitation and the emotional healing that he needs in order to be the man that he feels that Leah needs.

In this highly anticipated sequel to the best selling 10 Nights, Hughes and Jones are taking Rhett and Leah's relationship one step further. When we last met with this odd couple, Rhett had proposed and Leah had accepted. The love she has for Rhett is undeniable and unwavering; Rhett loves her just as much even if the feelings are foreign to him. Is their love enough to overcome Rhett's past, the unexplainable anger he can't seem to keep buried and his uncontrolable need for control? Not to mention Leah's inexperience and the small shadow of doubt that she tries to push to the back of her mind. When Rhett's childhood friend and fellow Dom, Alex shows up, all bets are off!

Leah loves Rhett, with all her heart, but she can't deny the pull she feels toward Alex. Rhett and Leah can love each other, like no other, but when Rhett's controlling and angry outbursts push Leah into Alex's arms; will their relationship survive?

There were some parts of this book that disturbed me, I will admit. That being said, Hughes and Jones have stuck with what made book 1 such a huge success in staying true to the world of BDSM.

So I was taken aback a bit when new areas of this world were introduced but overall the storyline of the love triangle intrigued me and I had to know where it would go.

In the end will Leah choose the man that initially won her heart. Tall, dark and handsome, animalistic, make your f*cking toes curl Rhett. Or will she choose Tall, light and beautiful, sensual and still make your f*cking toes curl Alex.

I give this one 4/5. The ranch turned me off a little, but as I said, seeing the love triangle play out and how alike but completely different these two men are made the story interesting and sexy

Bintang 2
Buku kedua.

Mengukur baju dibadan).

The first book I just drank in a day and a half. I wanted to make sure that she shows him exactly what she is worth. While I was pleased to the happy ending but it was not enough for me.
I was still left with the feeling that he kind of "won".
The second book was a little disappointed in the beginning, she still did not change her ways and still had to satisfy all of his crazy ideas no matter how irrational they were.
I admit I read the book in anger and nerves as the first. There had to be a twist in the plot to make him beg for his life. And I was glad to know it was.
The third male character and when it entered was exactly what she needed to realize that there has to be a different kind of men for her and realized that she cannot go on this way with him anymore.
Every few pages changed the mind of the characters a little I like them some then hated crying and some laughing. But I loved the roller coaster that it caused me and it had moved me.
And I'm waiting impatiently for the third book!

In all honesty, this deserves maybe one star, but the writing is pretty good, so I'm giving it two.

Picking up right after the proposal, Rhett and Leah wake up all lovey dovey. Leah has to deal with Janie’s reaction to her new status.

I almost flounced this book when again, as per the insane and illogical BDSM formula, Rhett’s anger issues, abandonment issues and closed personality towards his relationships with women is explained by a rough childhood. I mean... really? Can’t a Dom be a Dom without a trauma to explain his preference in the bedroom? That’s quarter way into the book.

So I continued reading. And just couldn’t get beyond 32% in. Suddenly the entire mood shifted to these two star crossed lovers who are caught in a misunderstanding and are forced (or forcing themselves?!?!?) apart. So... no. That’s the point where I just gave up.

Might have been better to just stop after the first book, with the out of place, totally surprising and weird proposal. Sigh.

Spent the weekend reading this book and well I'm left with conflicting emotions - for Rhett, Leah, and Alex! It's opened my eyes to unconventional relationship which I am indifferent to - people are entitled to make their own choices! What bugs me the most is how annoying Janie's character has evolved - she's the kind of friend who will always be there for you only if it benefits her - as she realized that she also has controlling tendencies as Rhett. I appreciate that Rhett has opened up to his "past" and realize that he has to/want to change to be a better man - but I also felt bad how he loses himself through the journey. I know there has to be a third installment to this series because it just can't end this way.

First, I have to say that I really liked the first book. Beyond was not nearly as good as the first in the series. Although Alex is a likable character, the direction this book went just isn't believable. Alex and Rhett have been friends since they were kids and Rhett is so absolutely against his lifestyle? I thought Leah's character also went downhill, especially toward the end. Surely there aren't really girls out there like that. She has NO self esteem, depends entirely on others to shelter her, clothe her, and feed her and coddle her (despite her many declarations to remedy this). Based on what we know book three will be about, I definitely plan to end the series here.

This was bad....I don't even know where to begin with this book. I did not like the ending so that may be why I am so annoyed. The first book, annoyed me a little but all in all, I enjoyed it. This one was so all over the place, I couldn't begin to like it. The extremes in this book are just so unfathomable. The kinkiness didn't even bother me. It took me from liking the characters to almost hating them and frankly not caring what happens in the next 10 nights. This is the first book I have ever given 1 star to and frankly I probably won't read the next book because the characters and plot are just that bad!

Really? I am very disappointed and horrified at some of the subject matter. I have read dozens of books containing bdsm releated scenes. It can honestly be stated that I will have trouble sleeping tonight. Pony slaves and masters? It was comical if not horrific. When I arrived at that point in the story when Alex reveals his "problem ", I couldn't help but think of human beings that would be sleeping in stables surrounded by manure. Also, Rhett had broached the comment to Leah that Alex enjoys "breeding " his ponies? Where did these two come up with this! True submission as a pony slave? So disappointed. I will not be reading the next installment.

For some reason I can't get back into this book after reading 10 Knights. I guess I have a problem with someone that is so naive that they think it's okay to hook up with their ex's friend and acting all innocent about it. Like she didn't have a choice but to move in with him like she didn't have any other options. Rhett was always up front about everything. I guess I'm into my feeling about shady shit like that. Hell she just met this guy and she think Rhett needs help! How about a booster shot of some self esteem and respect...ijs.

Well I just finished reading this book and wow. I almost didn't finish it I really thought it would get better. Leah must not be all there. I'm not sure I understand what makes these guys so head over heals for her. I don't see a sense of humor or anything that draws either Rhett or Alex to her. I'm guessing by the ending that it was a set up for book number 3. She is so dumb and wishy washy she'll prob like the pony stuff. I hope she gets what she deserves with Alex and Rhett finally does get a gal to love.

I like Alex so much better than Rhett! Rhett is a bullie and he always coerce Leah to be what he wants without thinking about her! Alex is so much better for her! He allows her to be herself and cares about her without hurting her... I hope she sees how bad Rhett is for her like everyone else sees (even his friend David). Alex himself said that she should't have been introduced to the 10 nights plan the way she was.
I'm really glad Alex came to the story!

OMFG...a WTF ending leading to a 3rd book hopefully. I love Rhett even though he has his issues..Leah in my mind is a lot more selfish than I thought she was. Jumping into bed with another guy so quick. I like Alex but something is off with him and I hope there is something about him that Leah finds out about that will set her off and back to Rhett. Ugh...so want another book and soon!

Holy craziness.... This book really opened my eyes to how insane Rhett is and the damage he has done to Leah. Then in walks Alex oh what a wonderful man. No doubt Alex will open her eyes to a whole new world of kink, but I am so hoping in a gentler slower manner then Rhett. This book was a great read and can not wait for the rest of this crazy story can you say possible LOVE triangle ;)

Totally think Rhett deserves to get the girl in the end. Can't wait for the next book. Anxious for the outcome. Definite must read, although Rhett went a little ballistic in this book. I think I'll read both books again. Definitely contains some pretty hot sex. Gotta have my smut :)
