Throughout the history of mankind, people such as Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and many biblical prophets, seers, and visionaries have guided humanity with what they claimed were insights into our future -- a look into the mind of God, our fate as a species, and maybe even our destruction. Little did Carol and Nick Cavelli know that they would be living in the times foretold, with war, paranoia, and nature itself raging across the planet. As the Cavellis and an eclectic cast of characters from around America all find themselves unknowingly guided to a single place -- and each other -- another set of individuals sees an opportunity for power... and death.

Health problems hit, but now with book #100 out, I am looking forward to my retirement.
I am not only an avid writer, but an avid reader. I am constantly with a book, whether writing my own or reading someone else's, I am always looking for a new journey and believe that with books and a vivid imagination, anything is possible. I love and thank the readers who bring the stories to life. Thanks for what you add to the books. Your imaginations, added to my own, complete the stories.
This journey has been amazing.
Thanks, family, friends, and amazing readers

The author in this apocalyptic tale takes the reader on a trip, initially, through the thought processes of a number who "dream" of an upcoming series of devastating events. Then the events themselves occur with the characters coming together who foresaw those events. Floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, war, all are foretold and all come to be. As the reader takes this journey through the machinations of the author a hopeful attitude begins to be shown by one of the principal characters, Carol. The hope she feels spreads in the minds of others while the darkness of some minds created more horrors.
This is the classic tale of good and bad in juxtaposition. It is the old story of evil rearing its ugly head to be confronted by good. Will the goodness of some people prevail? You must read the story to find out. The book is well written. The characters are well drawn and the principal characters easily discerned. The story presents one character whose evil attitudes I do not believe would sit well in the minds of children. I would therefore suggest that older teens be a limitation on the readers who pick up this very entertaining and enjoyable story.

Honestly, I was a bit put off at first because you meet so many people from so many places in the first part of the book. I quickly picked up on the fact that they each played important roles in the book as a whole, so while at first I was a bit confused, I quickly began to enjoy the book.
I was born and raised in the south and so a lot of what this book talks about really hit home for me. I was raised in the church and that being said I was raised hearing about the end of days. While I wouldn't call this a religious book, it did remind me greatly of the teachings of the bible. Its a story of fear, love, and hope for the future.
This book was very well written, it really made me think and I guess with the way the world is now, that is good...Stormi

I've read several of P.S. Winn's books and enjoyed every one from the whimsical to the darkest mysteries. But this was the most frightening story of all. The world is falling apart after being besieged with natural disasters and governed by egotistic psychopaths. Nick and Carol Carvelli are among a small group of altruistic dreamers who have already experienced these events in their dreams. Can they help a crumbling world and society survive or is the bad karma too powerful for the good? The story was disturbing but very thought provoking.

If you like to read about predictions, like in the Bible or by Nostradamus, grab this book. It adds a touch of conspiracy and pits good against evil. I enjoyed this tale.

Foretold is an epic novel. More than just good vs evil, this novel takes you into the lives of those trying to survive when they realize the last days foretold in the predictions of those like Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus and in the bible are really beginning to happen. One group is drawn to a ranch in Idaho to get ready for rebuilding while others want to tear down what the first group has.

This is a tale of what could happen and maybe what is happening in our world. When Mankind causes damages, and mother nature joins in, anything could happen. Add in a conspiracy about who might be encouraging the devastation, and you have a tale of things that might have already been Foretold.

Good book in the genre

Enjoyed the read. Storyline seemed to end abruptly. I'd read a sequel if one is developed more fully and less choppy and with fewer typos.
