Carrie Cooper’s husband divorced her for someone who could provide him with children, leaving her with little self-confidence and no desire to let a man hurt her again. Her best friend convinces her to join a dating service, claiming Carrie needs to get laid, while not winding up with a broken heart since her date requires no commitment after the night is over.
Although several misunderstandings nearly derail them before the date has even begun, Carrie and Frey end up becoming closer than they ever believed possible. Still, Frey will need to convince Carrie that her perfect mate isn’t human at all, and that one night can lead to a forever love.

Another awesome 1Night Stand story. This one had an alien twist. Sexy!!
A really quick read that had plenty of heart. It only had one steamy scene but it was very sensual.
Can't wait to read the related books!!

A great story with a couple steamy scenes thrown in for good measure! I love this series already! I accidentally read the second book first and it did color my feelings about theses characters.
The are both slightly flawed and liking for acceptance. They really are so very right for each other!
The outdoor sex was everything you wish it really were in real life! And now I have a new one for the sexy bucket list, under a meteor shower!

Really nice story, it is not the authors fault I am not into reading girl girl romances. But it was part of a series so I felt I had to.
Another steamy read with lots of heart! It is what I have come to expect and love from any book in the 1Night Stand collection!

Really hot little story!! This was less story than previous 1Night Stand Books. Very steamy!! Two way hot menage scenes fill this short read.
The feelings seem a little rushed but it was a quick read and can be forgiven.
Kinda makes me hope to be abducted by an alien and his twin brother some day!!

Oh yeah, that is what I am talking about!! Hot and heavy steamy action, fantasies, toys and a touch of BDSM!! Sign me up Madame Eve!!!
Another great story with just enough heart to make you melt! I really hope there are more books to come in this series!! Always a yummy read!

Nicely done collection of futuristic romance short stories that are tied together by the 1Night Stand dating service who matches perfect potentials. What I enjoyed about the potentials mates were their flaws - almost every main character had one, whether scarring, baldness, tallness, alienness (is that a word?). The characters all have self-confidence issues that stem from their real or perceived flaws, but find love and acceptance through having an open mind. This is a fun, short read, and I got it free from Amazon! Recommended.

I was lucky to find all of these books in a bundle. Each one was different and unique. They were all different and they also went together. I loved reading them back and back like this. I got more out of it and felt that I got more of the story.

I was happy to find this bundle on Amazon while it was free, I enjoyed the variety of books and I will be reading more of Jessica's work in the future.

This book had an a variety stories all centered around the 1night stand dating service ran by the mysterious Madame Evangeline. Most of the stories are interconnected through the relationship with characters from previous stories.
Beneath the Starry Sky
Tamara Johnson is struggling with a disease that eventually leaves her bald. Her fiance leaves her which causes her to suffer a lack of self-esteem. She has basically decided that the only way she would be with someone is to have a series of one night stands.
Josh Summers is also dealing with a bit of a self-esteem problem. After an accident left him scarred he has issues with the opposite not wanting him once they see his scars. He was set up with the service by his brother, unbeknownst to him.
There "date" goes off pretty well and you can see the promise of future with them by the end of the story.
Celestial Seduction
Frey Berger is from another planet, but decides to stay on Earth so that he can get a chance to experience the emotions that are banned on his planet.
Carrie Cooper's husband leaves her when she can't give him something that he wants. She is persuaded by a friend to go on this "date". As with Tamara in the previous story, she is lacking self-esteem or self-confidence, and Frey doesn't make anything better by showing up extremely late.
They get past that and Frey gives her a gift beyond measure and lends a measure of trust that a stranger doesn't deserve, by showing her his true self.

Jewel was attacked when she was younger and left scarred and now she thinks that no one wants to be with her. She ends up a the space service space station to meet her date. When she gets there she meets V (Flavia) and the are both attracted to the other.
Unknowingly, V is the date and although they don't realize it their attraction is strong, so the have a "date" anyway.

Danyka is self-conscience about her height. She is the assistant to Josh Summers and Josh and Tamara set her up with a date through the service. Galan, her date doesn't make her negative thoughts better since he shows up extremely late for their date.
She forgives him after hearing his reasoning and they proceed to have a good time. Once they get hot and heavy he takes her somewhere that she never thought that she would go. Galan's twin Volan is there and these two men show Danyka a very good time.

This was a very interesting collection of short stories, all loosely connected to each other through an initial character or theme. Lots of aliens and human quirkiness abound to ensure these men and women are all looking for that special someone through a one night stand dating service. As with all books containing short stories, and given these stories cover everything from female baldness and scarring to lesbians and a smattering of bondage I enjoyed some more than others but over all I found the set to be a light, fun, well written read. Certainly good for a break up book between more serious paranormal romance tomes =)

Something for almost anyone in this collection. Well, anyone who's not opposed to hot aliens! Let's see, there's steamy romance, smokin' alien sex, f/f, m/f, m/f/m, interracial fireworks... all framed in stories of people (human or otherwise) finally finding the one (or two) that will love them for who they are, not in spite of it.

Great Book
Read the whole book in one day, just couldn't put it down. Every one of the stories were great and bundling for such a low price was fantastic. If you like a book that can take you away from reality for a bit; then this a good choice.

Made up of 5 short stories and each of the short stories were incomplete. A few wrapped up the previous short story'storyline, but not that well. Thus 1 star-

Not bad at all. Unfortunately I don't have time to give little reviews of each of the stories. But all in all, this was actually refreshing and enjoyable, and I really liked that the last story involved Ice Hockey.
I liked how each of the people in the stories had something that they felt made them unlovable.
