This book was more than I expected , when you travel a journey with an author that grows with each book its an amazing thing. This book is so much more than a Mob romance book. Sienna Mynx showed us everything we needed to see ,to know why things happened as they did and kept me on the edge the whole time. I never knew what would happen next, I Loved the conversation between Fabina and Mira and Eve is just a cute as ever. The sisters were the stars of this book, sorry Gio you know I love you but looks like Mira is taking her place right beside you. The prayer of forgiveness made me cry , this was a nice touch for the group of people in this story line. Now I wait for the next book by this author, any book she writes I love .
La Famiglia is book 4 in the Bataglia Mafia Series and it did not disappoint! Mynx brings the heat in a serious way among the three main couples and there is action, conflict, and some resolution to many of the problems that have been building over the last three books. There are snakes in the Battaglia garden and we all know that there are no limits to what Gio, the Capo di tutti capi, will do when it comes to protecting the Eden he wants for his family. Is it wrong of me to find Gio's aggressiveness hot as hell? Oh, well, the heart wants what it wants and so does the libido! The ending is left open and I can't wait to see where Mynx is leading us next.
La Famiglia has a bit more steaminess than the previous books, but I didn't mind it at all! Giovanni is still the sexiest Don I have come across and I love him and all of his alpha flaws and craziness. Mira is still struggling with her role as the Donna, but despite her fears and anxieties, continues to fight for the love she has for her family and marriage. Lorenzo and Marietta take their love affair and genuine craziness further and further into new realms of "what the hell is wrong with ya'll". Their relationship is like a watching someone jump from a plane. You hold your breath and pray everyone lands safely. Domi and Catalina continue to struggle finding their roles with each other, themselves as individuals, and their places in the family. Mancini continues to force his influence on his daughters lives and the truth of his convoluted and painful past comes to light.
The Battaglia Series is one of my all time favorite series, not just my favorite IR series. Mynx transcends the basic story of race and it's role in the relationships formed in her series. Race of course plays a role in he the story, but it is not the only theme. Mynx solidly looks at the dynamics between a strong and determined man and an equally strong and determined woman; a Don and his American Donna; and the coming together of broken people who are all trying desperately to form, foster, and strengthen a family that will be bound and committed to one another above anything and anyone else. Bravissimo Ms Mynx! Another wonderful addition to your series!
This was a tale of epic proportions, and worth the time it took to read every last one of its 621 pages. When I saw the page count I thought this couldn't be right, but indeed it is, and all those pages are needed. This was a complete story from beginning to end. The root of what went down, how it went down, and why it went down is explained in complete detail, and absolutely nothing was left out. I thought this would be the last of the series, but low and behold we have another treasure that awaits us after this. There were a couple unanswered questions that leaves room for another book. #1 The issue of Isabella, and #2 Will Gio ever be told the truth about what Lorenzo did. I also think something needs to go down between Marietta and Carlo to keep things interesting. Can wait to see the way things unfold in the next book.
This is Don Giovanni Battaglia and Donna Mira's Story! In their team is Mariatta/Lorenzo Battaglia and Dominic/Catalina Battaglia. This is team Battaglia for me and anyone who tries to get in-between any of their relationships (Carlo, Rosetta) are the enemy as far as I am concerned. This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved this Chapter in the Series, it included, love, hate, murder, betrayal, madness, intrigue, sadness and sickness. All the elements of an emotional roller coaster, which this one is! I could not race through the story it actually took me 3 days and some very sore eyes to read it to the end. It was a gripping and riveting ride! I loved it. I would highly recommend this book and whole series to anyone who enjoys a good story!
This is book four in The Battaglia Mafia series. I completed this book in one sitting I stayed up all night and I loved it. Mira due to problems with her pregnancy Giovanni tries to do everything he can to keep the truth from her including the truth about her health and about how her mother died and the fact that she has a sister and who her father is all though all his men tried to get him to tell her the truth. Giovanni sent Lorenzo and Marietta away to keep both of the women from learning that they were sisters although he didn't expect Lo to marry her and bring her to Sicily. Marietta is a hot head she acts before she thinks when pushed into a corner. This book had a lot going on in it. Catalina got out into the world and realized that she didn't want to just be a wife and a mother and she hurt Domi so he broke up with her. The women in the family household were also scheming Carmallia who was friends with the guys tried to kill Mira. Rosetta who was jealous of Catalina set her sites on wanting Domi went behind Mira's back and told Domi things she herd Catalina tell Gio and she told on Mira. When Marietta told Mira that they are sister's and that Gio and Lo knew she went in labor and almost died she cut herself off from Gio after coming out of a coma. I liked that Mira found her backbone with help from her sister she escaped from her bodyguards by pulling her gun on them. The girls found out what happened to their mother and it had nothing to do with Gio's father like he thought although Catalina told them that her father would never kill a woman or a child and that the woman Gemma who was Marietta's godmother was the woman that got mother hooked on drugs and was the reason that she died because she betrayed her because she was jealous that loved her. The girls meet their father and brother and he was not a good man although he did try to make it right before he died by protecting them even against his son when he told him if anything happened to either of them or his grandchildren he wouldn't get anything in his will. This was a really good book and although I wanted to slap Gio for not being truth I still liked him he was only doing what he thought was right. I didn't agree with what he did to Santos because Lo was jealous and I also felt bad for Carlo I think he really liked Marietta and when they shared a kiss he stopped knowing that his friend would have killed him. This book was very well written with no errors in spelling or grammar and it didn't close one a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
As someone who had major issues with Book 3, I approached this book with some trepidation. I actually bought it the day it was released, and then kept bypassing it on my kindle cause I just wasn't ready to deal with it possibly pissing me off. I started, stopped, read other books, but once I made up my mind to just go whole hog, MAN, was I rewarded. This book was awesome and crazy and crazily awesome. I really enjoyed it. I saw a couple of my friends have it on their reading lists as DNF (did not finish) and for those who are struggling with the beginning, I will just stay stick with it. PLEASE stick with it. I, too, struggled with the first 150 pages or so. As others have said, it is long winded in parts (I really didn't care about Gio taking Mira to visit every relative in existence and ontop of that, getting details of every visit, every entry and exit from the car, every walk, every trip up and down the stairs...she's pregnant and it's difficult and he loves her. Truly, we get it.) Also, I'll just say it and get it out the way, in the last book I commented on being concerned that Gio was becoming p*ssy whipped, well ladies and gents, for the first 150-200 pages, he has fully slid into homebase for the p*ssy whipped team. It is sad and disturbing and I was PISSED. Like literally, you could hear the trumpets playing 'Taps' on his alpha-ness. I almost stood and saluted in respect to the demise of this great alpha. Finally, he says to Domi(?) that he cannot run the operation from his wife's bedside; that his actions have to be as strong as his words and I literally got up and got some cookies cause I knew that Gio was BACK and it was about to get good. I really could have done without corny Gio, but I guess he needed to grow..or something. I just never want to go through that again.
The thing you have to know about this book going in, is that it's all about the family. Shocking, given the title right? LOL I know I was stunned too LOL. But seriously, there is alot about the sisters in this book and while it bored me to tears in book 3, it somehow worked here...maybe because of all the shenanigans with the Battaglia men.
The storyline was amazing, the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat and talking out loud to the book. Carlo and Marietta?? OMG! Girl! Are the both of you trying to die?? It's going to be really interesting though, because the blinders have been removed from Carlo's eyes and he's looking at Lo in a different light. That ending?? Uhumm, things are getting muy interesante. And Carlo is so sesssssy. But still, I would feel horrible for Lo. I don't know. I just don't know! A threesome? *Faints.* I know. I know. Lo would never go for it. Dag, just leave me to my fantasies!
I was happy with the sisters' relationship. I was happy with the resolution with Mancini. I got everything I wanted there. Rocco, who saw that coming? Still love him and Zia though. Love, love Zia. She is always bringing wisdom to the situation. Rosetta, girl, you needed to be gone! Sneaky witch. I kind of didn't understand Gemma's actions at the end but whatever, I was glad it was all resolved.
For those saying the book was too long, I will admit that I did the following:
1) Skipped all the sex scenes, every one. Wait, no, I think I skimmed a handjob somewhere along the way. I don't know. I just didn't care. I'm not saying a couple shouldn't be loving, but really Gio and Mira are in love, we get it. I have the same issue with another Mafia series where the author doesn't seem to understand that we know the Don loves his wife. She's his sun, moon, stars, koolaid, grilled cheese, platanos and arroz con gandules. Really, we get it. Now what else is going on? Drop some bodies!
2) Skipped all the flashbacks. No, wait, I read Domi's flashback on Pg 443. The rest just seemed ill placed and jolted me out the story. Flashbacks are tricky and should be used sparingly. There were entirely too many and Fabianna, you were a great friend but, truly, you can walk off into the light now. Do we have to talk about her every other page? No wonder Marietta had to check Catalina. The chick is dead and I'm here; deal with it!
As I've said before, I read Mafia books for the men and tolerate the women, at times just barely, so for those who feel the same and are concerned that this book is chock full of estrogen, a quick rundown.
The women: Mira - I like Mira, for the most part. She was driving me crazy with the bi-polar behavior in this book but given her condition and everything that happened I was patient, but you will want to strangle her at times. I know she loves Gio and she was actually friendly to Marietta, so it worked out. I cracked up when her little ploy for Fabianna's blew up in her face. Lady, when will you learn who your husband is? When Gio discovered the ploy and shut her butt down, even after she apologized, I cheered. Thank you! Be a Don, dammit! That's what we want to see.
Marietta - I actually liked Mariettta much more than I thought I would. Goodness knows she wreaked havoc, but she and Lo are well matched in their craziness and she is loyal, and without airs. Also, even though she's feisty she, unlike Mira at times, knows when to just shut up and let her man do this thing. She knows her man, something Mira still somehow can't seem to figure out. It was funny that she was the newcomer and had to school Mira on being a Donna.
Catalina - She actually matured in this book, thank God. Domi made me so proud when he put his foot down and put that spoiled princess in check. Piccolina my a$$. Domi will not be manipulated and he will be respected. I.LOVE.HIM. In many ways, Domi is the wisest and most mature one in the book.
Zia - Always bringing the wisdom and trying to school these Camorra wives that you don't have to be all up in your man's face to be strong or get what you want. Most importantly, you need to play your position!! You married a Don. What about this don't you understand? I read a review that says that Mira doesn't have a backbone. She does, she just needs to learn how to wield her power over Gio. Even Domi told her that. Running head first into a brick wall is only going to leave you bruised and bloody. And Gio gives in to her much more than I like sometimes anyway. More of a backbone for her in Book 5? No, thank you. Get with the doggone program and Gio will give you the world.
Who else? Rosetta? Ugh. I feel for her cause I love Domi too, but girlfriend that is a dead end and you are a snake. Buhbye. Cecilia, lovely and loyal. I kind of want a love story for her. Nico, maybe? I kind of want someone for him. Carmella, can't wait to see what happens to you.
All in all, a really good read. 4.75. Superior story weaving, great editing - a few errors here and there but nothing too serious, given the page count. It's actually refreshing to read an IR book that's not riddled with errors. Sooo looking forward to Lo getting his in Book 5. What will this mean for the sisters? Will they have to side with their men and will this draw a wedge between them, or will they unite and force the men to deal? This will really test Gio's strength. DO.NOT.FAIL.US. You are Capo di tutti! Mira already encouraged him to spare Domi, but Lo's sins are numerous and ongoing.
Loved. Loved. Loved. You can tell alot of work went into this book. The author brought her A game on this one. Very talented.
So much happened in Book 4 of the Battaglia series, questions answered, new questions arise. Love, Betrayal, Forgiveness and Reconciliation.
Gio and Mira strong as individuals a force to be reckoned with together. My heart beat fast, it seized and stopped. I felt as if I was on a roller coaster (which I absolutely hate them by the way LOL)the ride seemed never ending.
What will happened with Lorenzo, Marietta, Carlo, Dominic, Catalina, Armando, Santo and Isabella? There is a storm brewing on the horizon where great devastation is heading towards the Battaglias.
3 New Battaglia babies posed for greatness, groomed to one day take over the throne. The will indeed be bigger than the Don himself I believe and make the Battaglia name even bigger.
Gio and Mira have gotten through a hurdle that could have and should have very well crippled them but they did. We got to see Gio as we know him to be "The Don" and not to be f*cked with. We got to see Mira "The Donna" who is quickly coming into her own.
All in all book 5 will be upon us in the summer and it will prove to be a scorcher as well.
OMG, SHE does it again! Sienna Mynx is the bomb.com! This was another great installment in a kick-ass series. The Battaglias, as usual, were most certainly off the chain in this one. Lorenzo and Marietta are perfect together. The two reckless hot heads burn up the pages. Mira and Gio, of course, were tumultuous in their loving and arguments. The deceptions that were revealed had me on the edge of my seat. As usual, Gio and Mira scorched the pages. The love scenes were so steamy that I had to keep fanning myself. That Gio sure is a SMEXY Mofo. I can't wait until the next book in this series!
Oh my gosh! Where does it end!? There is just too much with this story, but I am still loving it. How can we keep seeing the Don make foolish decisions for his Donna? What about Mira’s mental unraveling mental state? How about Mira’s twin sister that is unknown to her still even though she is traveling with that sexy cousin of the Don Battaglia, Lorenzo? How does Lorenzo keep dodging bullet after proverbial bullet? What is up with Carlo and Marietta? Who is Don Mancini and what will he do to get Gio’s attention? Who is this Gemma and why is she such a pivotal player? What about Catalina and Dominic? Are they doomed before they truly begin? There are just questions after questions, wave after wave and it is a great ride. : )
This series makes me believe in the genre of interracial writing. There are usually books by the same author that is hit or miss, but this series has been a hit from the beginning. As with all storylines, there is a little lag time, but for the most part, there is something interesting happening, whether it may be some Mafioso type dealings, familial drama, or outsiders trying to ruin the Battaglias, fighting to be the capo di tutti capi (Meaning the king of the clans), that can only be achieved by being the most ruthless. The characters are vivid and as a reader, I have come to understand and love every character in the book even with all of their flaws.
This story is about Don Battaglia moving his family to his childhood home so that his twin boys can be born, in the familial estate. He doesn’t care about anything, ignoring all other responsibility except his boys being born and the family is being divided. Also, Mira fighting depression and is having pregnancy complications that Gio has not told her about and there is better care in that area. Unfortunately, this is Don Manicini’s territory and Gio has disrespected him by not paying the respects due to him. Don Mancini had ulterior motives for being involved in Gio and Mira’s life as the Don is Mira’s and Marietta’s father. He wants to reconcile with his baby girls before he leaves this earth. Marietta is coming to find happiness with Lorenzo and they end up getting married, but there is something about Carlo that keeps catching Marietta’s eye. Hmmm…..this seems like a TBA relation happening. Not good as Lorenzo and Carlo are best friends. Gemma, Marietta’s seemingly fairy godmother throughout her life, turns out not to be who we thought she was, doing something so horrific, that I wished she would have been given a similar retribution as to what she gave.
Again, this story kept me highly entertained and up late to keep up on what was going on. : )
Before I get started with this review, let me say this book is long. It is 600 plus pages. I want to thank Sienna Mynx for that. She could have easily done what so many authors do and split this book up into multiple books. But she didn't - thank God for that. She gave us a wonderful story that kept us entertained for days - if you read it slowly like I tried but failed to do. :)
Wow, once again Miss Mynx has come through with a wonderful addition to the Battaglia story. This is the fourth book in the series. Please start with book 1 - Destino.
This is a continuation of Giovanni and Mira's story. Boy, is it complicated. There are so many characters that I have grown to love and hate.
Mira is pregnant and has complications that require Gio to treat her like she is a porcelain doll. In my eyes, he is being the controlling man that I know him to be, but it almost destroys their marriage when Mira finds out about his deception. I loved Giovanni even more in this book. I like the way he loves Mira and I also like the way he stands up to her and let her know that hey, he is the Don and she is his wife and she is going to have to live with that. Damn, he is sexy as hell. I think she finally gets it. She has married a mafia Don and things are different in this life.
Anyway, there are twists and turns and new information revealed. Lorenzo is still Lorenzo. I really can't describe him. I love and hate him.
The mystery is solved about Mira's sister. That is the crust of this book.
I will not reveal more. Just be sure to read it. My goodness it is so good. I am nervous about the next book because I can't see how it can be any better. Sienna Mynx is a genius.
Wow! What can I say about this book? Ah, It was a long but interesting tale with little to almost no action. It tells a story of lies and deceit and a family in crisis with one woman holding it together by a thread. Giovanni, a complicated character, who throws murderous tantrums, has a love, self-hate going on. When things or people don't fall in line, he lashes out at everyone including the heroine in this book. I am one who love to read fantastic love scenes but this was definitely an over kill. It didn't take away from the story but too much of it makes the love making in itself boring. Nevertheless, The book was substantive. The writer did a fantastic job weaving a story that not only shows the power of family but demonstrated that forgiveness can heal a broken soul. Book Two in the Battaglia saga was my favorite but I will continue to read the lives of these interesting but complicated characters. So bring it on Sienna Mynx!!! You rock girl!!
astonoshing. astounding . amazing. wow. The storyline from the start just drew me in. Surprises and surprises all over. i was waiting with bated breath to see what would happen at the turn of each page. Loved the development of the secondary characters as well such as dominic and catalina. Loved how explosive the reunion was between the sisters. Also appreciated the fact that Mira didnt automatically forgive her husband right away but I still appreciated him standing by her. I loved the fact that we were able to glimpse into his pain and Mira understanding the need to forgive him and herself. Still watching out for Lorenzo..thats a devious one. Looking forward to the next one..There is a next one right???????
Mira got annoying. Everyone's crazy behaviour became almost childish. I don't remember the other books being like this but I still enjoyed this enough to want to not give up and read the next book. I still liked Giovanni. His character stayed consistent and strong. Mira's sister is another whole bag of crazy. The progression of all the relationships made sense. A good series but a so so book.
Still loving this series. Each book is good enough to stand alone, but together it is powerful! Mira and Giovanni, the Don and his Donna are the glue holding the family together. Lorenzo and Marie, mirror images of each other, fighting hard, loving harder are the perfect compliment for their Don/Donna. Catalina and Dominic, the love that was forbidden but survived in secret until forced in the open. I can't wait until the next installment comes out.
This was the best mafia series that I've read, I laugh, cried an laugh some more. Mira twin sister is what she need and L he is out of çontrol. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. There are secrets that going to come out and destroy people lives. I see Carlo and someone in the near future......
Giovanni is a "messed up" mafia king. His father was messed up. He needs serious counseling. He thinks that he owns humans and that they belong to him. Everyone will do as he says or die. His wife needs more of a backbone. The book is interesting and well written. Read the entire series.
36% and surely there can't be any more build up than this. My heart is racing! Sienna Mynx is turning the screws so hard I'd chew my nails like an Acme cartoon if I could. Oh the lies! Usually I'm frustrated by how dumb some heroes or heroines act. The Battaglias have too much brain power. They strategise and lie so much they've tied themselves into frickin' pretzels! I can't wait to see how she unravels this! Not even her perpetual grammatical issues with present and past tense can mess with the flow of this story. I just autocorrect in my head. Go on girl, how you gonna deal with these knots?
37% - I can't believe I'm about to say this but, Wtf Giovanni?! You cowardly ass!
41% - Marietta nails it with... “She’s a royal bitch,” Rosetta said. Marietta cast her gaze over to the other one. “And you’re not?” Rosetta’s smile faded. Marietta shook her head. “You’re all crazy.” Pahahahaha!
42% - "No matter how she tried to understand his deception it made no sense. Lorenzo had plenty of explaining to do." Girl, that's the story of his life! But he keeps me spellbound, it's like watching a train wreck, I just can't look away.
47% - Marietta shook her head. “People in this place are shady as hell,” she said with disgust. I am loving this chick!
53% - Lorenzo you fool! Pick up de damn phone!
84% - Can I just say how much Mira is doing the jig on my last nerve? And damn Ms Mynx, it's so awesome to read a book where every character is lovable, irritating, clever, stupid, hateful and vulnerable, not just a 2d cardboard paper doll. How much plot can you squeeze into one book? I'm so eager to see how things unfold that I'm skipping the sex scenes!
86% - When Mira says, "Truths that Giovanni either can’t or won’t tell me. I need more answers.” I seriously want to belt her. That man tried to talk to you and give you answers night after night black Barbie and YOU shut him down! Now you're complaining? Steups. Look lady! Just admit you like being angry and self righteous, then sit back and say thank you for the shit show you helped produce. Hmmf!
I enjoyed the narration of La Famiglia. The love scenes revealed a profound love between Mira and her husband, Giovanni. I admired the love, respect, and cohesion in the family nucleus.
The story was broadened to include Mira’s sister, Marietta, and her relationship with Lorenzo.
Marietta doesn’t want anyone telling her what to do or not to do. She had a free existence until she met Lorenzo. I believe Marietta and Lorenzo filled the gaps in their unhappy existence. They fell in love. I liked the character, Marietta. She displayed fiery passion whether in love or angry. She is expressive and over the top. Lorenzo is insatiable for power and money.
The book revealed real life issues, such as flawed adults with nightmarish childhoods. I liked that although some of the couples appeared incompatible; they eventually loved and accepted each other. In addition, the issues of deception and trust revealed how some will forgive and move on, while others hold on to anger and hurt longer.
I did not like the numerous italicized flashbacks. They were too long and bad on the eyes. I skipped them.
I don’t want to give this author’s story away, but I thought it interesting there were almost slight similarities with my novel, “True Season of Love.” My heroine, Olivia Moreno, had a loved one in a coma. In addition, there were surprises concerning unknown family ties in my book too.
My heroine’s sister, Consuela, known as Connie, is aggressive. Perhaps not as aggressive as Marietta, but like Marietta she has demons from her childhood too. In addition the aggressive sister in my book, Connie, like Mira is a dress designer. But Connie lives and works in Paris. My story takes place decades earlier.
The sisters in my book are originally from Philadelphia. Mira and Marietta’s mother, Lisa Ellison, lived in Philadelphia at one time.
When Mira and Giovanni had a disagreement, Giovanni was found by his sister, in Mira’s closet, sniffing her clothing. In my book, when Olivia and Ptolemy had a disagreement, Olivia sniffed Ptolemy's bathrobe: “The scent of Ptolemy’s cologne infused her with desire. She opened her bedroom closet, touched and sniffed his bathrobe. It still had his scent. She caressed the robe…”
Mira Ellison reminds me of my character Olivia Moreno, although both are mild in temperament, they are educated, intelligent and resilient. Both are in love with alpha men.
When everything has been taken into account, I enjoyed the story. I look forward to Book Five.
I am going to tell you when I first started the series, I didn't care for it too much. The characters didn't appeal to me and I especially wasn't too fond of Giovanni, The main male Character. I just thought he was too Controlling And the main female Character Mira, was trying too hard to Convince herself that this was the type of Man She wanted. Even with all of that, I still read the first 3 books and waited for the 4th. Before I even thought about getting into the 4th book. I felt like something had to be missing so with in a week I re read the lst Three. the reread Let me look into the Series with A whole new light. Once I got into the 4th book, It was great! Some of the characters were very well developed. The story that was told was very well written. my favorite Character was Marietta. She was a bit Unstable but bold. Mira, in this book really matured. She seem much more wise. Out of the 4, this is by far the Best of the 4.
This series is AMAZING!!! As usual, there's a lot going on: Rosetta's skanky, scheming a**, Mira's jhigh-risk pregnancy, Gemma's lies and betrayals, and that damn Isabella! WHO IS SHE??? I can't wait to find out. She is quite busy recruiting Gio's enemies, so I know there is going to be a huge battle in Book 5. And what in the hell is going on between Marietta and Carlo?! I can't shake the feeling that something is very off with Lorenzo and Gio is finally going to see him for who he truly is, so I'm kind of hoping that Marietta and Carlo end up together (I think, lol).
I don't want to say much more than this, because I don't want to give anything away, but trust me when I say that this series is EVERYTHING! If you haven't read it, please do so. I don't think you'll regret it.
Got my fingers and toes crossed that Book 5 is going to be out soon. I'm so ready for whatever is next.
La Famiglia has the most exciting twists and turns in this series so far. OMG! I absolutely am enjoying myself. I mean, yes, both Marietta and Mirabella get on my nerves at times, especially Marietta, but I get it. Both come from such dysfunction in their lives and this is why they are the way they are and thus, have the ability to love such men as Lorenzo and Giovanni. But wow, the heat between Marietta and Carlo is pretty juicy. I am excited to see if this gets explored more in the future installments of this series. For now, I am at the edge of my seat and ready to dive into Amore (Book #5). Loving the Battaglia Mafia series.
After waiting months for this book to come out I am so pleased . Sienna you outdid yourself. And after watching all your diva pen videos and keeping your fans updated on this book, we are so thankful. Onto the book I am a bit biased because Giovanni can do no wrong to me. This is a thriller and itself and the series gets better and better every book. #teamgio
This book was absolute PERFECTION!! It is hands down the best book in the series so far. There was drama, lots of romance and a few surprises thrown in. I felt like I was watching an action packed movie. The dialogue and descriptions were really on point. Kudos to you Ms. Mynx. I can't wait to read the next in the series.
This book had me on edge. My goodness the suspense was killing me at some point. Happy the sisters are reunited. Gio had his head in the sands at some point. Boy am I scared about this attraction between Carlo and Marietta. I'm happy that the donna acknowledged the snake that Rosetta is. Great book.
Hopefully Mira is more understanding of her role in the family going forward. Her sister is a hot head and Domi is right. Mira will need her to pull on her Donna pants. And why in the world is James still in jail... Can anybody hook him up with a good lawyer or time served?
