What a HOT SWEET read! I loved Leith. He's so alpha yet soooooo intune with his very best friend. I wish that i was the heroine in his book! This is how love should be!

Best friend

I love this book. Ms. Bell you did well. I thought that this I was a cute book about this love affair that started off as friends that became lovers. Zai and Leith were good for each other. You couldn't help rooting for this couple. I would have loved to see his parents come around, better yet at least start a better relationship due to their grandbaby. This is a sweet love affair that you would want to read about while you're in a waiting room. I've read it five times!

This is a cute short story with a likable heroine and an interesting hero. There were a couple of consistency and editing issues but nothing major.

Ok read

Leith and Zai are best friends. She has decided she wants a baby and he would be a good candidate. Two problems arise after she becomes pregnant. His ex is now pregnant and Zai loves Leith. I realize this is a short story but there is so much missing. He kicks his parents out. OK...The other baby story is a what... Ok ...... The sex passages... wait what.. OK....And if this is a romance book... Wait where......

Leith is so sweet. He say all the right things, you can't help but fall for him. Jenna is manipulative and wanted to control Leith. Which he wasn't having it. Zaierra read right through Jenna. She wasn't going to play her games. Zaierra handles her own. Enjoyed reading Leith and Zaierra story. I loved the exploration.

3.00 stars. I enjoyed this short winsome friends to lovers story. Zaierra and Leith are charming and likable as individuals and as a couple. Within a few pages, the author painted a caring platonic relationship with strong and increasingly dominating tones of romantic love. Zaierra and Leith are nearing their 31st birthdays and Zaierra fears her changes at motherhood are narrowing; so, she urges her best friend, Leith to have a baby together. They both quickly overcome the changes that occur when they move from platonic to sexual to romantic love and then marriage. An unexplained and odd reveal was the fact that though Zaierra's and Leith's close friendship had spanned over 15 years, his parents and Zaierra had only met once prior to their bringing the lying woman scorned, Jenna, to Leith's house. I was pleased that Zaierra and Leith acknowledged their love for each other and got married despite Jenna's pregnancy which was later proven to be by someone other than Leith.

This was a very sweet IR romance about two best friends, Zaierra and Leith. Leith has finally ended a relationship with a rather bitchy Jenna. Zai is happy for him because she knew that she was no good for Leith.

Zai is thirty and not in a relationship but with the timely breakup of her best friend, she can think of no other man to be her baby's daddy - her best friend, Leith. Remember Jenna, Leith's ex, well that woman along with make you want to read more about the conniving ways of an ex. URGHHHHHHHH ...lol

This was just a beautiful story and I loved the way everything fell into place for Zaierra and Leith.

I must start by saying i read this book in less than 2hrs...I could not put it down...I really enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end...It took me by surprise...because I don't normally read interracial books...For the record I'm not against the relationships nor prejudice or anything...but those books have just never really interest me...but this book was really good...I look forward to reading more by Teona Bell...She has really opened my eyes to reading more of them...I could be missing out on some really good reads...Kudos to her!

Hate to say this, but.... this book was mediocre. Did a lot of skipping through the pages... It didn't hold my interest & in a sense, it was a little boring... Couldn't take this anymore, so there I gave up on the book...

I wasn't sure what to expect when i began reading Zaierra and leith's story, but I liked the way she devised her plan and then tried to back out, so funny. Leith was not having that, he was having her one way or another. This is a classic boy wants girl, boy gets girl. This was a good short read.
