Dr. Ivan Rusilko has got it bad. He’s in love—with life, his work, and his baby girl, Jaden Thorne. The nearly 3000 miles between Miami and L.A. that once threatened their happily-ever-after now seem nothing more than a mere geographical challenge—nothing a few hours on a plane and a sexy weekend rendezvous can’t trump. No time apart is too long to keep him from wanting her in his arms and in his bed. He’s absolutely sure Jaden is his dream come true.

Jaden Thorne is living the life she’s always wanted. She’s got her one-in-a-million job on a TV cooking show, she’s achieved celebrity chef status, and she’s in a committed relationship with her perfect guy… Then the network’s surprise decision to add a co-host to her show takes a bite out of her perfectly balanced life and career. With a new man in the mix, living the dream gets a whole lot more complicated both personally and professionally.

When the emotional, mental, and physical paths of true love’s course collide with frustration, secrets, and assumptions, will Ivan and Jaden pay the price? Does their dream-come-true cost something neither can afford?

The Winemaker’s Dinner: Entrée is a decadent meal of passion, sex, and secrets, inspired by the real romantic life of Dr. Ivan Rusilko. Authors Everly Drummond and Dr. Ivan Rusilko have turned up the heat in this emotional follow up to The Winemaker’s Dinner: Appetizers, expertly executing their unique recipe for blending fact and fantasy, with more than a dash of passion and sex.

Take one very loved up couple, add a good portion of long distance, sprinkle liberally with a handsome yet irritating co-host, mix in a dash of doubt, add a light seasoning of temptation and simmer and stir gently until you have the perfect consistency for an angsty, emotional dish.

Jaden and Ivan are living on the opposite sides of the US but are managing to keep the fires burning in their very intense and sexual relationship. Jaden is now successfully hosting her own celebrity chef show in Los Angeles while Ivan continues his work in Miami. They never allow more than two weeks to go by without seeing each other and, when they come together, their physical attraction to one another is so strong, it's almost combustible. But time and distance will test this relationship as Jaden's irksome new co-host Damian will attempt to spoil the broth.

I have to say that I enjoyed this book a lot more than I did the first novel. This is sentimental romance but it's also incredibly HAWT! At the beginning of the story, we find Jaden and Ivan exquisitely happy, they trust one another implicitly and they know that what they now share has been a once in a lifetime chance. Their mutual attraction is like a powerful magnet as their passion burns white hot. Their sex scenes together are raw and unbridled as this couple quite literally cannot keep their hands or their mouths off one another.

My love for you runs through my veins like a fine wine. You intoxicate me.

I mean, what girl wouldn't want a Doctor that knows everything about the female orgasm as a lover??

To the most precious thing in my life. You make my soul smile.

But, William Shakespeare knew what he was talking about when he wrote: The course of true love never did run smooth and Jaden and Ivan are about to take us on an angsty, emotional journey through this book and are leaving us with a breathtaking cliffhanger. Now I NEED the next book. Stat!

After a very romantic and sizzling beginning, this story starts to wend it's way along an emotionally exhausting path and, while ever fibre of my being wants these two to find and hold on to that Happy Ever After, it begins to drift slightly out of focus in this story. Without giving away the plot, situations abound that threaten their happiness and future and now everything in the garden is not quite so rosy.

So, if you enjoy an angsty, emotional yet deeply romantic story, don't forget to check out the whole Winemaker's Dinner series. It offers something slightly different as it is co-written by a man which is fairly unusual in modern day contemporary romance.

Series Reading Order

The Winemaker's Dinner: No Reservations - Jaden's prequel

“Jaden, in a world filled with heartache, pain, and uncertainty…your love is the mountain I needed to climb, the song I needed to sing, and the chance I needed to take. I wanted to know what love could be, and I found the answer in you. You’re everything to me.”

I have always loved this book, the series actually. I think it was a love at first sight. I saw the first book while I was randomly browsing on the internet and one of the reason I added it on my list is because the book is co-written by a male and he is ONE FINE SPECIMEN. See for yourself:

See what I mean? :)

Anyway, the book is a fictionalized erotic memoir inspired by the romantic triumphs and tragedies of, the author, Dr. Ivan Rusilko’s real life.

It is a story about love & passion. The book started off about our couple's budding romance. Just like any other couple, they have their moments - high and low, ups and downs. Ivan being the Mr. Romantic that he is, always sweeps Jaden of her feet. He constantly spoils her with his undying love, gifts, romantic getaways and his cheesy liners.

My love for you runs through my veins like a fine wine.
You intoxicate me.

I heard from a little birdie that you looked stunning.
I hope you had a blast. Love is beautiful, and so are you.
I love you with all my heart.

Their relationship takes a turn when certain instances threatens their honesty and fidelity. Are they willing to give up everything just to be with each other? How committed are they truly? Does long distance relationship last? Is love really enough?

With that being said. I truly love this series. The book is entertaining and has a lot of charming moments, despite the fact that the book is co-written by a guy which is rare for this kind of genre. A light read from your usual intense dark erotic romance (nevertheless, the sex scenes are still as hot) and was just very amazing. I recommend this to all of my friends out there. It's a combination of a "real" great romantic story, very sexy and swoon-worthy prince charming and some yummy/passionate love scenes.

Btw, there would be a third book in the series - The Winemaker's Dinner: Dessert would be released on Spring 2013. Super excited!!

What is hope?
Is it the ambition of discovering for the first time what the carnal definition of physical love is without understanding the concept of true passion? Or is it imagination running wild and free fueled by the dream that tonight will last forever and tomorrows will always come as you are blinded by the brilliance of another’s smile? Is it a theory of inevitability that relies on fate or destiny bringing two souls together for their one shot at true and unbridled happiness? Or is it plea to erase a past that used to hold the potential for limitless smiles and endless laughs.
I define hope as a narcotic.
It courses through our veins, igniting ideas and feelings and emotions that all work in collaboration to produce a better tomorrow, while leaving today but a distant memory. The essence of its unknown and unseen promise is beautiful and addicting to those who are in need of its satiating grace.

Pull up a chair and settle in... because you will not be able to put this book down, you will need to devour it whole. Pour a glass of Velvet Glove and grab some exquisite chocolates, let those flavors explode on your palate. This course of The Winemakers Feast is truly a carnival for the senses and will have your emotions teetering on the edge... Entree is simply mouthwatering, a mouthful of pure decadent deliciousness.

Appetizers may have been the inspiration for the menu and it set the perfect impassioned ambiance, but HOLY HOTNESS this serving of the banquet got spicy and left me salivating in overdrive. Everly Drummond and Ivan Rusilko have found the perfect blend of eroticism and reality for this meal. Their combined writing styles blends these superb raw ingredients and expertly prepares and presents them in a way that will satisfy the deepest hunger. Their combined efforts has created yet another masterpiece.

In this tsunami of emotions all the organic fixings are present. Plenty of passion, want, need, love, romance, trust, mistrust, insecurity, anger, angst, heady intoxication, and even the proverbial angel versus the devil of the conscious. All of this garnished with uncertainty.

I won't lie, the passion and sex was amazing. At times left me a bit tingly. ~Which OMG is not a bad thing~

Ahhhh... But the pate foie gras??? The little green pills of course!!! I wonder just how many hits Google has sustained in looking these up? (So let me take this opportunity to insert an apology to all medical professionals at this time, I've a sneaking suspicion that if you've not already, you're about to experience an influx in female patients. Just saying... you may want to get your prescription pads ready!).

So I raise my glass to the fusion that Everly and the good Doctor have plated. It has flambeed me and left my heart palpitating. Christian WHO? After this delicacy, I can't even count to fifty let alone remember or think about another book!!!

Hope may very well be a narcotic but in the end love is always worth the fall. Love is beautiful.

This aphrodisiac has me frantically searching around for my waiter, because just like Veruca Salt, I want my dessert... and I WANT IT NOW!!! ~JH

The writing team of Dr. Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond has reached to truly amazing in this second book. “Entree‘” begins a few months after “Appetizer’s” had ended happily. It’s a titillating ride for your scenes full of twists and turns. As the story unfolds, we see Jaden in L.A. and Ivan in Miami, these two young lovers are attempting to make a long distance relationship work. Something Ivan never wanted to do; however, they seem to be keeping their professional and personal lives working well. After being apart for weeks, Ivan surprises Jaden by flying out to LA and coming to the set of her cooking show. Immediately, even while in the middle of a taping of a segment, she senses his presence and her passion for him takes over. The way she flys into his arms is breathtaking. You can feel their love for each other and can only anticipate how they will make up for lost time.

This book definitely will fill your desire for heat and romance. But, there is a story to be told here with plenty of angst. Right off the bat, Jaden’s career is threatened by a spoiled, womanizing man, Damien who is slated to be her new co-host. Damien sees a challenge in Jaden. He’s used to getting his way and every woman who he’s come in contact with has always swooned over his obvious presence. She is not happy about this new addition to HER show. We soon learn that not only is he vying for the new place in the show but also in Jaden’s bed. Can Jaden stay true to her love for Ivan? Can he prove to be a threat to Jaden’s and Ivan’s relationship?
Once again, I’m overwhelmed by the effect that this book has had on my soul. It’s an amazing book but be prepared…..I cried, I prayed and I even had to stop reading at one point to deal with my anger. I definitely did not like Jaden in this book. I was still waiting for her to give back to Ivan some type of appreciation for all he’s done for her. Instead, she loses my love and definitely will need to rectify her behavior in my eyes to even be worthy of Ivan’s affections.

Ivan is still sex on a stick. He’s thoughtful and romantic. He is head over heels in love. He contemplates and plans a future with Jaden. For the first time, we get to see an insecure Ivan. His insecurities are laid out and his soul is bared.

As for Jaden, she begins this little angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. Both playing with Jaden’s insecurities and concerns about Ivan being in Miami. I was annoyed with her throughout this book. I don’t think Ivan could have been a better boyfriend, lover or confidante. What was she thinking?!?
We do get to meet somewhat territorial Ivan. I loved when Ivan and Damien meet for the first time and get into a pissing contest. He definitely irks Ivan and he proceeds with Jaden’s help to put Damien in his place. Kudos!!!

Here’s a taste of some of my favorite quotes….I’m sure they will be yours as well.

“Your love has become the very definition of my smile…and I love to smile.”

“But right in this moment, I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that you are the destiny I’d risk everything for.”

“Real love is a privilege only a few ever enjoy. How long it lasts is inconsequential. It’s what you do with the time when this feeling is shared that makes it special.”

“Jaden, in a world filled with heartache, pain, and uncertainty…your love is the mountain I needed to climb, the song I needed to sing, and the chance I needed to take. I wanted to know what love could be, and I found the answer in you. You’re everything to me.”
I loved Entrée even more than Appetizers……Ivan is a beautiful soul who is loving, sensuous, romantic man who continues to open his heart in this book….can’t wait for Desserts……and hopefully his HEA!!

Bk 2 of The Winemaker series starts off on a good feeling. Ivan, our H has now been nicknamed “Prince Charming” in this bk (rolling my eyes), yep that’s an upgrade from Mr. Oh So Sexy in bk 1. It’s well deserved I might add because this wonderful guy continues to do no wrong and endlessly spoils Jaden, our h. Ivan knew all the right people who behind the scenes selflessly arranged to have Jaden audition for and become the new TV Chef show rock star in LA.

Ivan, still living in Miami and Jaden are now a famous “it” couple jetting back and forth coast to coast to be together. Ivan’s been burned before by a similar type long distance relationship and swore he’d never do it again. Jaden, however, is his so called “miracle” (love of his life, soul mate, yada, yada) and he's so happy for her success he relents and agrees to this arrangement. The bi-monthly visits are tough but our couple is in love and makes it work. Jaden is surprised and unhappy to learn she’s going to have a co-star on her show to boost ratings even higher and draw in some REAL heat to the show.

Fellow Chef Damian, the pretty playboy, who’s described as looking like a surfer Ken doll, is the arrogant, shallow son of a famous father also a chef. Damian, of course, makes advances toward Jaden which neither she nor Ivan care for. About 35% in Jaden (the dummy dum-dum) is feeling a bit insecure while constantly being hit on by Damian, she’s starting to feel the distance in her jet setting relationship with Ivan. Both Ivan and Jaden being so busy with their successful careers those bi-monthly hook-ups have sometimes been sidelined due to business reasons for Ivan.

I’m getting the feeling I know where this bk seems to be heading and I’m not planning to go along for the ride. Thankfully these co-authors have supplied a table of contents. Each chapter, by the way, is titled with an oldies rock song – cute, huh? It’s unfortunate though that these cute titles are not included in the actual table of contents; there they’ve only listed the chapter numbers. Too bad, would have been a great idea for a Winemaker’s Dinner playlist. On a side note, why do soooo many authors not add a freaking table of contents?!? That’s incredibly frustrating to me. But I’ve digressed……any who, I did scoot right on to the last chapter and yep, sure enough, our happy couple are, well…..not to spoil, let me just say that between 35% and the end there’s evidently some pretty big angst because we’re left with a major romantic cliffhanger ending. Sucks, right?

So….with what looks like a 6 to 7 month wait for bk 3 I’m glad I’ve abandoned this bk early. Wondering how things will turn out for Ivan…..Will bk 3 be a “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”? Or will it be a “Oh Happy Day” thanking the heavens our Hero/Prince Charming who seems to walk on water will get his elusive HEA? Overall, I'd say this bk was a tad bit better than bk 1, still unbelievable, but better.

Sweet.Lordy......Oh Dr. Ivan, I hope I can get through your line at book bash and thank you for this delicious book!!! Holy panties on fire!!!
 photo flowingwine_zps961f25b4.gif

I loved the first book, and of course, fell in love with Ivan and Jaden and was happy to see a momentary HEA. This book was fantastic and gave us more of the hot "Miami" couple with a heart breaking turn of events that has left me shattered!!! Ohhhhhh Ivan, my heart is kinda bleeding for you right now and damn if this book doesn't have a cliffhanger at the end! ARGGGG!!! I need the 3rd book ASAP, thanks so much!!!

Can I just say, Dr. Ivan needs to give tutorials to ALL men on womens sexual health (waggling eyebrows)....holy crap. The steam in this book is OFF.THE.CHARTS!!!! I mean, the shower scene while in Napa....the couch scene in I forgot where because it was too hot to worry about it....the freakin' doctors exam!!! WHAT?!?! One of the best sex scenes I've ever read...well done to both authors for taking the reader to that place of enjoyment and longing (for their own Dr. Ivan to examine them!)

I loved loved LOVED it and am needing to know what date The Winemaker's Dinner: Deserts will be out, because with the cliffhanger from this book, my heart needs mending and clarity for what happens with Jaden and Ivan.

Oh.....and that DAMN Damian...I hope there is a Damian ass whippin' from Ivan in the works for book 3. Someone needs to boot that D-Bag down a few levels!

The writing team of Everly Drummond and Dr. Ivan Rusilko have done it again for readers – another FABULOUS read from The Winemaker’s Feast Series – “The Winemaker’s Dinner: Entrée”! They’ve taken the readers on an emotional roller coaster ride that has left me weak and in need of a place to sit down and regroup. Because of the gift Everly and Ivan have for drawing the reader in as though they are there, in the story, I once again found myself feeling like a voyeur watching Jaden and Ivan’s relationship as they work through the challenges of maintaining a long distance relationship. Sexual passion, tenderness, fun, love of family and uncertainty are just a few of the things you’ll experience with Jaden and Ivan. Every emotion I can experience was brought out as I read book two in the series and I was exhausted and left wanting much, much more. Thank you Everly and Ivan for yet another fantastic installment in The Winemaker’s Feast series – “Dessert” cannot be served soon enough!!

This series just keeps getting better. Great romance, heartache, awesome sex (Dr. Ivan specializes in sex enhancements) he is damn good at his job. There is Hollywood glamour, Miami Beach madness, lots of Food and wine -Jaden in a chef. I could just go on, this book has it all imho. It floors me it's based on real life.
On to the third and final installment.

"Love...love is worth the fall."

Wow! Just...Holy Mollydooker! Where The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers, book #1 in the series, delivered the romance and some heat; The Winemaker's Dinner: Entree, book #2 in the series, delivers romance and and enough heat that I had to wear oven mitts to hold this book! Let's just say I saved a few $$ on my heat bill while reading. With Jaden in L.A. and Ivan in Miami, these two love birds are attempting something Ivan never wanted to do again....a long distance relationship. After being apart for weeks at a time, when Ivan surprises Jaden on her cooking show set, the sparks ignite such passion in them that I'm not even sure romance or eroticism are term enough to describe the passion. Now, of course they're going to make up for lost time. *blushes* I. Loved. It.

Don't fool yourself into thinking that this book is just about the heat and romance. There is a story to be read here with plenty of angst. Right off the bat, Jaden's career that she has worked so hard and fought for is threatened by a spoiled, womanizing, boy toy, McHottie named Damien. Yea, he made me think of Damien from The Omen, too! Welcome, Jaden's new co-host, Damien. BUT! Damien may not be a threat to just Jaden's show. Damien sees a challenge in Jaden and apparently feels he needs another notch on his bedpost. Just how far will he go to get that notch, and can the strong Jaden fend him off out of love for Ivan? Can he prove to be a threat to Jaden's and Ivan's relationship? *surprise face*

I love how Jaden has transformed herself from the shy country girl from Colorado to the erotic minx of whom Ivan can't get enough. In the first book, Jaden had a little difficulty remembering names...I mean, she was thinking Igor for Ivan. Well, she apparently still has that same difficulty in remembering Ivan's name, because she tends to scream his name as God in this one! *wink* A lot! In the first book, I was transformed into Jaden. I understood and loved Jaden. I REALLY wanted to BE Jaden! In this book, Jaden has a little angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, both playing with Jaden's insecurities and doubts about Ivan being so far away. Insecurities + doubts + dirty martinis + missing Ivan = disaster. Note to Jaden: You can never run from the past; it will always haunt and catch up with you. I was so bent out of shape with Jaden at a red carpet event, that I had to immediately contact Everly Drummond to talk about it. <=== This is the only time I put this book down! The conversation went a little like this:

Me: I'm not liking Jaden right now, and I can't stand [nameless person]. Grrrr..... I'm only 60% in, but the angst of poor [nameless person] and the [******] waiting on [bad adjective] Jaden is killing me! I WILL finish this tonight because I can't put it down! Well, except to message you that I want to slap Jaden senseless and castrate [nameless person]. hehehe

Everly: LMAO just make sure you read the ENTIRE thing... cover to cover.

Me: You have to have a surprise in there for me, don't you? I thought the first one was hot, but...WOW!! Jaden turned into quite the little minx! Don't worry....I'm out of here to finish it now. Do you know how hard it is to try and eat dinner and turn epages at the same time without spilling on the iPad? Well, I missed my moouth a few times and dinner took a back seat. I'm off to finish this puppy!

Everly: Curious to know what you think of it.

Me: It seems so much more based in reality than the first one and you know how I immersed myself in the first one. This one, with the turmoil of distance and missing someone, along with the mistakes....it's just so much more real!

Everly: I really am very curious to see how the readers react to it. Tis a bittersweet read.

Me: OMG...bittersweet? It is not at all what I expected! I'm blown away by it, but loving every minute!! Jaden and Ivan are so "human!" That darn line between fiction and reality is blurred even more! I'm off to read...have a great night and congrats on another winner! At least, so far it is a winner!

Now, how about that Ivan?! Well, he is still just sex on a stick and as thoughtful and romantic and hot as ever! In book #1, we had sea turtles. In book #2, we have a Mercedes roadster! You figure it out! He really is a doctor of sexual enhancement, and we get a first class exam in this book! That was truly one of my many favorite scenes in this book. Do you have any more of those little green pills, Dr. Ivan? I actually liked Ivan/Ivan's character more in this book! In this book, we get to meet territorial and cocky Ivan. I loved when Ivan and Damien got into a pissing contest when first meeting. Jaden and Ivan definitely put Damien in his place. But, even aside from cocky Ivan, I loved his gestures, his thoughtfulness, his attentiveness, and his romance toward Jaden. *dreamy sigh* Some of my favorite lines from this book were from Dr. Ivan.

"Your love has become the very definition of my smile...and I love to smile."

"But right in this moment, I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that you are the destiny I'd risk everything for."

*Swoon* Dr. Ivan, do men like you really exist?! Don't you want to open a private practice in E. Tennessee?! I'll work for you for one little green pill and an exam! *sigh*

I am so happy to recommend this book to everyone who wants a great story, "real" swoon worthy characters, angst, romance, and steam. Be warned! This book ends on a cliffhanger among cliffhangers! But then, that was part of the fun in reading it! As in the first book, there are themes for life to be found in TWD: Entree as well. "Real love is a privilege only a few ever enjoy. How long it lasts is inconsequential. It's what you do with the time when this feeling is shared that makes it special."

Wow!  I’m still trying to recover and get my heart to calm down after reading this!  The second book in the Winemaker’s Feast Series, “Entrée” did not disappoint.  Dr. Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond did a fabulous job yet again.  I’m not at all surprised, they work very well together!

Ivan and Jaden are making their long distance relationship work by taking a vow to go no more than two weeks apart; they take turns traveling between Miami and LA, and some special trips in between.   Ivan, as in the first book, is so romantic and just so perfect.  He loves Jaden more than anything and has no doubt that he wants her as his wife.  He constantly spoils her with flowers, chocolate, and romantic getaways whenever they are together.  Jaden loves Ivan with all her heart.  She feels at home with him.  Ivan is her forever!  But between a new arrogant, cocky, yet gorgeous co-host Damian, who will not take no for an answer, and Ivan’s work getting his own medical practice up and running, things start to get shaken up.   Can they survive?  You’ll have to read to find out, my lips are sealed!

Dr. Ivan and Everly do an amazing job bringing you into this book, and it was written beautifully. I felt like I was really able to connect with the characters and go through their emotions right with them.  And boy did I go through some emotions!! There was laughter and there were tears.  I’m not going to lie, there were moments I wanted to jump in and punch some of the people out!  As far as the sex....again, It was off the charts!!

I really loved how real the dialogue was throughout the book.  Some books you read the dialogue is so crazy there is no way that a real person would actually speak like that.   Dr. Ivan and Everly keep it real!  I give this book a 5 star rating and I am so looking forward to Dessert!  Hopefully we won't have to wait too long!!

Congrats to Dr. Ivan and Everly on another ahhhmazing story!

Wow....get ready everyone...the good doctor and Everly have done it again! The wait for most certainly worth it! The sex is hot hot hot....I can say most of us should be jealous of Jaden! The new character, Damien (think the Omen) really adds angst to the mix.....he has an agenda and he plans to achieve what he sets out for....hopefully Jaden will be smarter.....nope, I yelled at her through my iPad again, just like Appetizers;( I laughed more in this book.....and I cried....I was tormented, swooned, jealous, unnerved, annoyed, jealous (oh wait, I said that already, well, wait til you read about the little green pill and the exam that follows, you will be Very jealous too!) sheesh!
This was soooo enjoyable......now waiting for my Dessert, which I have a feeling will be tart and sweet:)

I Love it when a book incites strong reactions from me. They rarely do. This one did. As mentioned in my review of book #1, one of the reasons I love this book is because of the characters. They are both strong individuals that didn't let life's deceptions (we all have them) impact negatively on their life; in plain language, they have their shit together. So many books I've read recently (think FSOG, Bared to You, Thoughtless series, etc., have weak female characters or have characters who carry a lot of negative baggage with them and it gets old after a while).
I appreciate a good love story, with a realistic level of angst, and I loved this one. They're both trying to make it work amidst burgeoning careers and their relationship is being challenged, especially by Damian, which was a great addition to this book, as it brought another means to get to know Jaden better.
The authors describe so beautifully the love between the two characters and the way they show each other that love. The ramp up to the angst was great. I had made the mistake of reading the excerpt of book #3, so I already knew how the book was going to end (LESSON LEARNED – NEVER AGAIN WILL I READ AND EXCERPT OF BOOKS IN A SERIES…URGHHH), but I was still gripping my chair all the way to the end, hoping….I don’t want to spill anything away for others here, so I will stop with my venting.
At mid-point in the book, I thought Ivan was too perfect, verging on the “unbelievably perfect” character, but then a few scenes brought him back to a “better” level of perfection (one example: he’s looking at his petite blond receptionist and thinks to himself “if I was single, she’d be worth the lawsuit”. Didn’t you say to a certain someone that you were NOT into one night stands Dr.?) But that scene and a few others made him more real to me (boys will be boys).

I can’t wait for book #3 to come out (only 1 month to wait, thank God!). After having just finished book #2, I was hoping an HEA with Jaden, but the little devil in me is hoping to read about how much fun Ivan is having moving on. After all, he’s such a positive guy and he did say to Micky what would happened if Jaden said no: “Of course then I suppose I’ll go on a rogue mission of mindless, nameless, faceless sex and depravity”. We all could live vicariously through him :o#

One last thing – After reading the way he conducts his consults, I wonder how much it would cost to obtain an appt for a similar consult by the good Dr.??

Entrée is a dish best served hot~

What more can be said about this book other than WOW! Yes the story is hot but what you find under that is so much more! As The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers ended there was the promise of more! Both Ivan and Jaden found that love was greater than any number of miles that may have separated them. Throughout The Winemaker's Dinner: Entrée Ivan and Jaden learn just want it means when life happens to love. Ivan wants nothing more than to see Jaden’s dreams come true and Jaden aches to have Ivan by her side. Thought the book you see just how far both of them are will to go for love and a storybook ending. And while the sex nothing short of hot the love and passion they have for one another takes center stage in this story. Life has other plans and no amount of flowers and unique gifts can change that. With any perfect bubble of love you will always find someone ready to pop it at any moment.

I found myself yelling, yes yelling, at my Kindle! Like that would help? Right! But here is why…right off the bat from RSVP, Reservations, and Appetizers you know you are dealing with a real personality. Dr. Ivan Rusilko is the real deal. Now I know some names and stories have been changed to protect the innocent. When reading a book you have the awareness that the leading man is, for lack of a better word, phony. We all hear it…men like that don’t exist or what man really does that? So in a world full of Jesse, Travis, James, Noel, and any number of fictional book boyfriends Dr. Ivan Rusilko has found a way for his books to break that mold and give the female population the hope that one day they may find their Ivan. Along With Everly Drummond, Dr. Ivan Rusilko has gifted us with a series of books that allow a girl to dream. Thank you Dr. Ivan Rusilko for allowing myself and the rest of the world a look into your life because writing a story such as this gives new meaning to the words write what you know.

The following review was part of a blog tour by AToMR tours, I received a free copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

The Winemaker's Dinner: Entree is the second book in this series and continues the love story of Jaden and Ivan. Jaden has taken a job on a cooking show across the country from Ivan; they make it work with plane rides and hot weekends together. Then Jaden gets a hot new co-host that she is attracted to and the new co-host wants her right back. The second book in the series adds some drama and emotional turmoil. Jaden was still a strong lead and Ivan his usual handsome self. Damien the new man in the story was a hot ladies man. I loved this book, the romance and fan worthy bedroom scenes are even better in this one than the last. The drama added flare and the emotional problems that Jaden deals with is once again are very realistic. I especially loved the fact that Ivan’s character was not perfect. The writing was wonderful, the authors seem so in tune with each other and everything fits so well together, you can't even tell that two people wrote this book. I love this book and will be buying copies of it as Christmas presents for many of my friends. I can't wait for the third book to come out and read the conclusion to this really wonderful series.

Half way through the book, I put it down, unsure if I would continue. Deciding it was only 100 more pages to go and predictable, I was hopeful that I would be surprised. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Jaden at 27, has a lot of growing up to do and is pretty irresponsible. Ivan, well, he is still too good to be true.

I have always required lemons in my stories and usually graphics ones at that. Most of my reading is around erotica, but I do require plot. I think it is the first story I have actually skimmed or skipped reading them.

Book one was better than the second. The second needed some help navigating the story forward in time.

For the record, there is no excuse for infidelity. It matters not if it's a kiss or all the way. 23 years of marriage and I am sure my husband would agree.

Where to begin besides this book made me feel every emotion I didn't think a book possible(happy, sad, mad, and yes even tears really?) The things that this couple shared and endured,is simply amazing and truly breathtaking. You can feel the love that they share. The cliffhanger at the end almost killed me and just about had my kindle flying through my room :)Really hate that I have to wait so long for the third book BUT...am a sucker for happy endings so really hoping that rings true and is worth my wait!

I love when a book #2 picks up right where #1 leaves off! WOW!! You will not be disappointed. You go through many emotions as you follow Ivan and Jaden's journey. You'll laugh, cry and scream "NO" as you experience their struggles of a long-distance relationship. Can their love overcome heartache and is it strong enough to prevail?? Cannot wait until Desserts!!!

***If you have not read the first book, The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizer, please make sure you do so before reading this review. This book is part of a three book series and to be fully enjoyed should be read in the correct order***

The second book picks up a few months after the Appetizer ended, Jaden is in full swing on her new cooking show, One Hot Kitchen. She has a great boyfriend, the career she's always dreamed of, and is living all her dreams in Los Angeles. Ivan and Jaden's relationship is still going strong even though they are apart most of the time and only see one another every two weeks taking turns flying back and forth to spend weekends together. Everything is going great the only down side, is that they long to be together all the time but their careers won't allow it not to mention there is a darkness looming over Jaden in the form of a new co-host for the show, Damian Gris son of famous chef, Francois Gris. It's clear from the beginning that Damian is not serious and is a playboy who's only looking for his next chance to get laid. More concerned about his looks and his image, he doesn't care who he has to step on to get where he wants to be, front and center in the limelight.

The relationship at the beginning of the book between Ivan and Jaden was going so great, I was rooting for them full force but I just knew something was going to happen to rip their world apart. At the beginning of the book, Ivan surprises Jaden by showing up unannounced on set while she is taping having skipped his trip he was taking to Washington. He takes her away for a magical weekend all alone in the middle of nowhere. Ivan is such a romantic and does everything that he can for the woman he loves even supporting her with work when she has to face her new co-host. I really thought that they had found a way to make their long distance relationship work. I was wrong. As time went on, Ivan became more and more preoccupied with work phone calls and constant texts became few and far between, at one point Ivan announced he was going to have to skip their two week visit due to business he had to tend to. What did this do to Jaden? I watched as it slowly ripped her apart, she started to listen to the ideas that Damian planted in her head; trying his hardest to make Jaden think that there was no way that Ivan was faithful. That a young handsome doctor like him could have his pick of any woman he wanted and was probably off constantly banging other random chicks. So when Jaden is required to attend a network gala solo, she pretty much loses it. She drinks way too much and starts to get a little too close to Damian ultimately going home with him and waking up the next morning in his bed without a clue of what transpired the night before.

In this book the reader really gets into Jaden's head and gets to feel what she is feeling with Ivan away and the turmoil she goes through before and after she ends up in Damian's bed; seemingly unaware of what Ivan has been planning for their future this entire time. So when lies and secrets surround their relationship, will Jaden and Ivan's love survive? Wish I could tell you but then what would be the point in reading the story???

I read this book start to finish in one day, I just couldn't seen to put it down. The authors really turned up the heat in this book, it was full of passion and heat; I loved every second of it especially the doctor/patient scene that was HOTT. This series just keeps getting better and better and I cannot wait to read to see what happens in the final book in this series, after all dessert is the best part of the meal!

Struggling to get through this one. Had to put it aside and I go back occassionally to read a chapter, 2 if I am feeling adventurous. I lost all love for Jaden and now I do not care to see it end HEA.
WOW. Didn't think I could get through it. So hard to rate this one. As a whole, I did not like the book. Or maybe I should say I had a love/hate with it. But that is simply because of my own issues with Jaden. I did like the writing, the plot, the progression of the story. I just hated her to the point that it affected so much of the book. Like, everytime she opened her mouth. First, I didn't think for a minute that she cheated. You don't get so drunk as to not remember the night before but redress in bra and panties. That is classic "passed out before anything happened". But in her mind she did cheat. And that is where I had issues. Plus, she went home with another man with the intention of cheating. if her and Ivan were as solid as she keeps claiming, leaving with Damian would never have crossed her mind. She spent the rest of the book trying to justify her actions, move past them, ignore them, start over. Her constant, from this moment on I will be faithful attitude made me want to bitch slap her. She does not deserve Ivan. Because they are not on the same level of their relationship. It shows a lack of respect to cheat on your SO. Seriously, did they not have a discussion early on about his issues with long distance relationships? She basically confirmed what he feared. I felt like there was alot of effort on his part to maintain the relationship, and not as much on hers. Like she was just along for the ride. And now that she realizes that she didn't have actual sex with Damian, that she stopped before the removal of her last two articles of clothing, she thinks she can talk him into forgiving her?
I am not sure if I can read book 3. As romance novels go, it is almost a given that they are going to work this out and live HEA. And I have serious issue with that. The beauty of my age is that I have been witness to many relationships. And I have yet to have friends whose spouse or SO cheated, and who have stayed together. Yes, some have worked through it initially to make their marriage work. But at some point, months or years later, the marriage dissolved because someone can't get past it. The loss of trust is huge and difficult to repair. I am not saying it can not be done. There may be couples out there who have forgiven and gone on to remain madly in love. I have just never encountered it. So it would be a hard pill for me to swallow. And I would not put alot of stock in Ivan and Jaden's relationship to last. Kind of a doomed from the start scenario. I may have to give it some time before reading book 3. It takes alot for me to not finish a book series. I hate unanswered questions.

*long, drawn out dreamy sigh* Oh, I’m supposed to be writing my review! Must. Stop. Daydreaming. Ok, I think I’m ready now…..

The Winemaker’s Dinner: Entrée is the second book in the Winemaker’s Feast Trilogy and satisfied the palate that Appetizers whet our appetite for!

This installment picks up where TWD: Appetizers left off and puts the reader on course for a trip through the highs, and lows, of Jaden and Ivan’s blossoming relationship.

Jaden is enjoying her new career in L.A. as the host of One Hot Kitchen, her cooking show and chef’s dream. Despite the stresses of daily life in the spotlight and a new pain-in-the-ass co-host, Jaden appreciates it all and feels like the luckiest girl in the world.

Unfortunately, Ivan is still in Miami tending to his own thriving medical career. They’re both determined to make it work though. Twice monthly interludes filled with surprises, romance and lust are sure to keep this love affair on the right track. Surely nothing can come between Ivan and Jaden and ruin the amazing thing they’ve found….or can it?

I freaking loved this book. Jaden is a kick ass heroine with a strong personality with a soft side for the important things in life….family and love. Ivan is, well, Ivan! He’s delicious! I mean who doesn’t love a guy who is enchantingly romantic one minute and chopping down trees the next? Talk about the perfect combo! And, I’m sure by now you’ve all seen the package it all come in?! Hello!? *dreamy sigh….oops! Got lost in a daydream again*

This book had everything a story should have….an amazing couple, romance the oozes off the pages, HOT scenes that practically set the reader on fire, humor, a villain you love to hate and a cliffhanger at the end that leaves the reader filled with emotion and longing for the next book. Without giving any spoilers away I will say this….have a box of tissues on hand for the last quarter of the book and get ready to spend the rest of the day with puffy eyes and a book hangover (and any book that makes me feel that way is a great book in my opinion!)

Once again, Ivan and Everly have nailed this fact-based fiction and have made this reader a happy camper!! Thank you both!

I quite enjoyed the Entree! I have to admit that I'm not used to a good guy love interest, but I have to applaud Rusilko and Drummond for this character that is both a gentleman and kinky.. for a character who finds strength, not weakness in wearing his heart on his sleeve. It's so easy to love a bad boy and want to change him.. but why not look for that perfect man, that is kind and considerate, one that puts your needs, wants, and desires first. That is Dr. Ivan.

Cover love and writing
I like the covers, but wish the cover was an actual picture.. more contemporary. It seems slightly cartoonish and God knows that we'd all love to see some Dr. Ivan!! Maybe a beach picture ;) The writing is in third person POV, and very well done. I wasn't all over the place and found the characters more endearing this way.

Main Character
There was a point where I just wanted to shake Jaden. She literally has my dream life.. but that's not the main reason I wanted to shake her. Grrr.. she got herself in a conundrum. It all happens, but she had never been given any doubt as to Ivan's intentions. My heart was aching for her at the end.

Swoonworthy points: 9
HOLY COW! So, this book is the perfect mix of emotions.. but *wipes forehead from all the heat* that examination.. I'll take two please!!!! But seriously I was trolling Ivan and oh my lord, how could you not swoon at his feet?! He's the total package!

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

I know right!!! But seriously, I have a soft spot in my heart for this series. I would recommend this series and CANT wait for dessert!!

The Winemaker's Dinner: Entree is the second book in this true love story of Dr Ivan Rusilko. The first book The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers we get to meet Ivan and Jaden. Ivan is an accomplished Doctor who is a wine enthusiast and has gone to a wine tasting when he meets a beautiful women in a red dress. He can't seem to get her out of his mind so when the opportunity arises for him to take her back to his room he does. Only when he wakes in the morning he finds her gone. Ivan wants this mysterious lady in more ways then one because he has never had feelings like he is feeling right now. So he tracks her down and thus starting a crazy long distant relationship that is full of hot sex and passion that will ignite a building in seconds.

In the TWD: Entree we get to see Ivan and Jaden doing the long distant thing. I have to say that for them they make it work. They love each other and trust each other. They see each other every two weeks and when they come together they have this passion that ignites the sex that burns in their veins. Ivan is still in Miami and Jaden is still in L.A. you would think the distance would kill the relationship but it only makes it stronger. Together they are perfect but all things come with a hitch in relationships and Jaden just got hers. The network decided she needed a co-host and so they found her one. In steps the gorgeous Damian who is smart and witty and also very cocky. At first Jaden is immune to his charms but Damian is determined to get her attention.

Once Ivan finds out about her co-host he is so not worried at first but as time goes on and things start to happen he allows the devil on his shoulder to guide him and leads him to think things are going on that may or may not be going on between Damian and Jaden. What will happen to this couple? Will Jaden end things with Ivan? Will Ivan end things with Jaden? Can the long distance relationship survive a co-host? Man I need book three like ASAP because I need to read more about Ivan and Jaden and Damian.

Wanted to like this more, but it was just too cliché and predictable for me.

There is very little substance to this story. And what's with all the bj's? Really, every time Jaden gets close to Ivan she handles, drops to her knees and does the deed? If I were a guy this would lose it's appeal if I couldn't be anywhere when she wasn't fondling me. I don't want my man constantly groping me, that's just creepy, but what do I know?

There are no sub-plots or distractions to give us a break from this perfect man and his quest to pass muster with everyone in his lady love's life and get the right answer to the big question.

Will probably read the last one when it comes out, but certainly not in the rush of this one. I interrupted the middle of an amazing series for this sappy, fluffy, plastic couple; won't make that mistake again.

I devoured this book like the delicious entrée that it was and it left me wanting seconds! I can't wait to carry on to the dessert. Ivan was simply put "the perfect man". Ivan and Jaden's love story was epic and the ending broke me. I am still routing for them...even though Jaden made me mad. I loved both of them at the start but I must admit I lost a bit of respect for Jaden's character. The writing is great in this series and I love the flow of the story. Nothing drags and the love, angst, sex and humor flows wonderfully. I don't want it to end just yet. I am ready for dessert!!!

My favorite line....

"....real love is a privilege only a few ever enjoy. How long it lasts is inconsequential. It's what you do with the time when this feeling is shared that makes it special."

And....

"Love....love is worth the fall."

This was such an emotional roller coaster. I actually had to put the book down a few times and just walk away, so I could get my emotion intact. With this book you will find yourself laughing and crying. There were times I wanted to reach in the book and punch one of the characters. Want to know which one? Well read the book and you will find out. There were also times I wanted to scream to Ivan to run and don’t look back. Want to know why? Hum, well once again read the book and you will find out..LOL If you had not read any of the Winemaker’s series, you are truly missing out. Ivan and Everly have done an amazing job on this series. I can’t wait until book 3. I have a feeling I will be starved to death by the time book 3 gets here.

I am disappointed. From the beginning to the end to the beginning again, I am crushed. What started out as hope and an unending passionate love...ended in emptiness. I truly hope there is a better ending to this romance story than protect your ego because the woman you fell in love with makes a mistake. And a mistake that she did not make even unconsciously. Only, too late to make a change in what she thought of herself. OMG...What is love that does not go beyond self to understand and forgive? My bottom line requirement for reading romance is "happily ever after." Instead I am left with a broken heart too. After reading Entree, I need to refresh with RSVP. Still disappointed. I truly hope there is a better tomorrow for Jaden and Ivan.
