Aaaw, I just realized that this series doesn't get a proper ending, because the next book was never published.
That's too bad, I quite liked these amazing angel stories. 7 guys in a loving relationship with lots of juicy scenes. There's nothing better.
Jana Down's work is like super sweet candy. You shouldn't devour it all the time or else your teeth will fall out, but once in a while it is just what I need :-)

Sexy, beautiful angels fighting demons !
These characters, Angels and demons, Elites and more, have flaws and insecurities like everyone else on this learning venture, which made them more likable, than you can imagine.
This engrossing story cements the angelic love and defines Levi’s importance. We get awesome reason he was saved.
Our Axis, Marius, Erik, Levi, Brad, Jade and Kerr, each unique and learning more as they go forward.
We see Marius learn power control, and shifting, plus Levi heals Axis from a burn, but how he does it is wild.
Many fantastic discoveries are found.
Of course, their polyamory is hot, raw and powerful while it fulfills needs.
We learn more about the enemy demons, too.
This series was written in 2012, but no third tale was written. It’s a shame. I am glad that I read these two installments, and I hope someday to see more. It’s been a fun world of angels to explore.

This book is part of a series and must be read in order. Levi, Erik and Marius are settling in with their Elite guardians and lovers Axis, Brax, Keer and Jade, Levi is having nightmares as his powers grow, Marius is starting to train as an Elite and Eric feels like he has to prove to everyone that he is still a man. Levi’s past comes after him and new discoveries are made and the lovers all have a choice to make as their Sanctuary is threatened.
This is quite a good addition to the Unexpected Angels series and the development of the Nephilim. Levi is keeping secrets from his lovers, he doesn’t want to be a burden to them so he keeps his nightmares and new powers hidden, but when a face from the past comes for him he has to open up to his lovers, Marius has accepted Axis, Jade, Brax and Keer into his family and has begun training as an Elite and Erik seems to need to prove himself to everyone and doesn’t seem to realise that he is just as much as a man as everyone else.
Okay, I loved the new powers that was introduced and the new twists with the danger, and Marius, Axis, Jade, Brax and Keer are brilliant characters although they have got to stop treating Levi and Erik like spun gold… they are just brats that whinge and whine until they get what they want and then become all helpless and useless when they put the others in danger. *shakes head* I had hopes for Erik after Angelic Union but suddenly he has a ‘I am a MAN and I will prove it’ attitude, there was no need, he was perfect. Levi wallows a lot in self-pity and it is only when something drastic happens that he grudgingly opens up to the others.
The storyline is great and most of the characters are brilliant, I really look forward to getting to know the bartenders better. The sex is completely scorching with some light spanking and sex in unusual places; you definitely won’t have anything to complain about because it’s very hot. Unfortunately we don’t get any closer to any of the Elite, we just begin to scratch the surface with them and I would truly love to know more, much more than just the teases we have at the moment, I know the series is mainly about the Nephilim but I now want more from the Elite.
I will recommend this to those who want an interesting storyline, great characters, annoying characters, danger, secrets revealed, incredible powers, really scorching sex and an ending that makes you want more.

Oh man, where to even start. Somehow, all you LoveExtreme authors seem to have the same fundemantal 'flaw' & idea about how your characters should be. Is there a how-to-guide on it? Like, small, slender & cuddly shall be the most beloved with amazing powers and cannot deal with anything but bottoming? Because that is getting old real fast.
So, let's start with the best character of this series so far: Erik.
I'm not even being sarcastic about this one, because Erik is truly the most intruging character of them all - unlike Levi, who is a little annoyance who should be corrected or written out, I really don't care.
No, wait. Let's talk about Levi, because damn!
It is getting on my last nerve how he is coddled and pinched and spanked and being doted on all the time like he is the next best thing to sliced bread. He isn't.
And, oh look, he has a demon after him (can you feel my sarcasm?). Of course he has a demon hunting him down who wants to own him. I mean, isn't that standard procedure for these type of people?
You know what else? Of course he got the amazing powers, too. The ones no one have ever really seen before and the ones which only comes around every 5000 years.
It's hideous & it's disgusting.
Erik on the other hand is also a classical stereotype, though I do like him better. But, of course he has to be the 'man' of him & Levi and of course he won't be coddled and he won't need protection nor does he have any bad things in his past.
He is just the normal nephilim of the bunch unlike Levi who is of course the most treasured angel who takes care of them all, but still thinks he is a burden to the world around him.
I hope the next book is better, because of course I will buy it, because I'm a masochist in that way.
But could be please try to put focus on smth else than Levi? I mean, please! I'm begging right here.

Wow, TMI in this book, the more I read, the more I like Levi. Levi's new power was so cool, I wonder when Azrael will appear, maybe next book? And of course the smut were yum, can't wait for the next book. I'm intrigued by this series. :)
