~ New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

Eve Langlais has created a fun, funny, endearing and erotic adventure that any reader will find hard to put down for even a second. There’s a amazing build, excellent characters and great humor that will have you laughing yourself into tears. The antics between all of the characters are very entertaining, the sexual tension and attraction is so thick it’s hard to breathe. The author created great couples that are perfectly suited for one another even though they are from different races and places. Even if you are not a fan of Alien based reads, you will have an out of this world good time reading about this Accidental Abduction!

I was provided a copy of the book by BTS eMag for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review – all conclusions are my own responsibility.

FUN AND SEXY WITH PURLE ALIENS

I had debated for some time wether to download this, I wasn't sure I would like it. But I eventually decided to go for it, and I'm really glad I did. These three stories are really entertaining. The characterisation is spot on. The three stories feature true alpha males, in the third it's a ménage but very well done. The human females are feisty and aren't about to take crap from these guys. The sex is hot, there are numerous laugh out loud moments as well.

This is a collection that once you start to read you just can't put down till you've finished. I believe there is a further story following on from this collection. If you like a romantic sexy read set in outer space give this set a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I found these books to be laugh-out-loud funny and they were really relaxing and great to read. Some typos and continuity problems, but I didn't find that they detracted much from my enjoyment.

Hahaha, I did not realize this wasn’t a plain old standard scifi story when I checked this out on Libby. It wasn’t until the first throbbing purple peen that I realized what I was getting into. I didn’t stop there. 😬
So, there were a TON of spelling mistakes, words repeated a lot, not great editing.... But the stories were pretty darn good. Even with all the sex, it was a good scifi setup and I enjoyed them all. Murphy is one of my fave characters from a series in a while, he was a pretty creative invention. And really, I have to admit, all that sex was pretty hottt.
The only one I didn’t get into was the ‘authors’ one. Too much fourth wall breaking or whatever that would be considered lol.

I found this very...entertaining. The first book - Accidental Abduction - featured a h whose erstwhile boyfriend tried to "remove the evidence" - namely her - after gaining access to her accounts. She was...mouthy. The H was grumpy and constantly confounded by her. After much intergalactic romping, he gave in, claimed her as his mate, and... settled down.

Intentional Abduction was ah...different. The h - a human abducted as a child - is a trained warrior raised on a world where the female is the dominant sex. She was sent on a mating quest - find a suitable male, do the deed, get knocked up, and go home. The H resented this, and rightly so. Eventually, they came to an understanding - after he turned the tables on her and captured her.

Dual Abduction...where to start. The h - a teacher specializing in working with delinquents, and riding herd on a group of teenage girls - is abducted, along with her charges. The two Hs inadvertently find them while being essentially forced to do a job. They're...dumb. Actually, they act like a couple of giant purple frat boys. I wanted to smack them upside the head. The h did just that. So did the h from the first book, maybe the h from the second book... They make such tempting targets. At least they're consistent. The h is torn between them, refuses to choose one, thus refusing both. They come to an agreement to share - without consulting her. She figures it out after one jumps her in her sleep and she discovers it's not the one she was with before. She's v. upset with them - and with herself because she's entertaining thoughts of going with the flow. They ganged up on her and, afterwards, are found by, among others, one of them's mother. The teenagers, incidentally, are taken in by the race who raised the h from book 2.

Some thoughts - I'm not fond of menage so possibly the only reason I liked the third book was because of the personalities involved. The H having a reputation or enemies or whatever who take the opportunity to steal the h near the end was used twice. Possibly the only reason it wasn't in book 2 was due to her upbringing making it highly unlikely she'd ever be a victim. Will I continue the series? Heavens yes. Too entertaining by far to drop. Now to dig through my TBR mountain and hope I can find something that, if not as good, at least doesn't make me want to throw it against the wall.

How could I have waited so long to read Eve Langlais's Purple Warrior books? From the Renowned Tren, the Scourge Jaro,to the Dual Terrors Brax and Xarn; never a more incorrigible group of heroes have I come across. Not to be forgotten are the human heroines Megan, Aylia and Louisa; snarky, feisty and willing to put up with the idiocy that seems to extend to even alien males (just don't let the guys know).

Anyone who reads this will find themselves giggling, snorting and full-on belly laughing at the shenanigans the heroes get themselves into, and sighing along with the heroines at their oft times misguided efforts at romance. A more enjoyable space romp I've not come across, and to say I really like the anthology is an understatement. I would heartily recommend this to anyone, whether they are into the genre or not.

don't let my rating scare you away, this was just in need of abundant editing. it was a lot of fun but not so much that the copious minor errors could be ignored. But not everyone is as twitchy as I am. Surprisingly I actually wasn't bothered too much by some of the dubcon stuff, possibly because I've enjoyed some power play of my own in the past ;). It didn't come across crazy creepy, though there were a few scenes (actually one from each book I just realized) that were super questionable. As in I almost had major issues, so...
Okay, I've been up all night hanging out with a friend so this is making zero sense. in my defense, trying to write a spoiler free review for three books whilst sleep deprived is not easy. so I'll try this again.
Needed editing, dubcon, funny, not spectacular, but still I laughed.

This set is the first three books in this series. It is amazing!!! I never thought I would enjoy aliens, alien abduction, spacecrafts...none of it. I really enjoyed all three stories. The first is the about Tren, he is really a space pirate, piercings and all. The second is about Jaro, he is fighting being second best, he hates it. The third is about Brax and Xran, they are best friends who have to learn to share one woman. All three have hot purple men and curvy women who tame these aliens. Loved the books and can not wait to read the next one!!

Fantastic Series

This was a extremely enjoyable and entertaining read. I laughed so hard at all the shenanigans the guys got them self into in their misguided efforts at romancing their barbarian humans mate's. So looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Sure, there were some errors, but they aren't nearly as numerous as I've found in the work of other authors. Besides, the stories were hilarious and hot. What's not to love?
