Addicted 2 Thuggin was a very good story. All of the characters had something I could relate to, even Desmond. Demetri's struggle is one that is familiar and very real to a lot of young black men out there. Inside them are good, but they don't know any other way to be on the outside but that bad person that they portray. I felt close to Demetri because he felt like he lost everything that he had beside his brother. His mother disappeared, his father was murdered and the thing he once wanted to be years ago, is no longer.

Demetri is a straight up thug. He is truly addicted to money, status, and power. He doesn't care about his ruthless nature and will kill anyone that betrays him, all except for Mika. Mika is his long time girlfriend that made a deadly mistake when she slipped up and got caught cheating on Metri with Zino...Now Metri is out for blood, and of course his brother Desmond is going to ride with him!!! In the process of all the drama, Metri meets Jennifer. Jennifer becomes an comfort for him but how will that work out when her father goes digging in Demetri's past?

Addicted 2 Thuggin is a ride you don't want to miss!

Another good urban lit story. I wasn't completely blown away by the story line, but still it kept my attention.

Hands down, Demeitri is my favorite character from this book.
Demetri had a deep love for his girl Temiaka. He loved her since they were in middle school.

Demetri vowed to protect Tamiaka at any costs, even if that meant killing for her.

Tameiaka loved Demetri as well, but she mad a big mistake that caused her to lose the respect of the one she loved the most, Demitri.

Better than 4 stars. More like 4.75. Would like to read Still Thuggin soon, because these brothers are nit to be messed with!
