The Christmas story is seen through the eyes of the Christmas star. Tnetnoc - pronounced T-Net-Nock - is just an ordinary star...or so he thinks. He's not as important as the North Star whom everyone knows, & sailors use to guide them. He's not even part of a constellation like the Big Dipper. Still, he would shine as brightly as he could...then one day his important job arrives & he realises the purpose God had for him.

A lovely story - it really draws you into the feelings, fears & frustrations of Tnetnoc. Through it all he does his best to shine as brightly as he can; teaching children that God has a purpose for our lives, even amid difficulties & disappointment, & to not give up.

There are a few places in the book for children to draw their own pictures - a nice touch.

Why is he called Tnetnoc? Well, I don't want to spoil the story, so you'll have to read & find out for yourself! (By the way, I didn't guess why he was called Tnetnoc, but I think that made the revealing in the story more special!)

What a clever and different story! Great for teaching individual worth and things of God.
A perfect bedtime story for elementary and a great reader for slightly advanced readers.
It is also a very good religious study book for very young children ad has a study guide in the back
as well as talks for young children.
I won this in a giveaway and am very thankful for it.
The author has waited years to produce it and we hope Gary will feed his creative juices and
author more stories such as this.
A must for mothers and children's religious teachers.
