I read this book for a book challenge. Military/war books are completely out of my genre and perhaps my rating would be higher if it was more inline with what I enjoy reading.
The basic plot and the main characters were interesting and kept my reading at a fast pace. However, the parts that focused on military tactics and technical details were a struggle. Also, the quick wedding between 2 of the characters was a bit far fetched and I’m not even sure why that was included.
All in all, it was better than I thought it would be and someone who enjoys this type of book may have a much higher rating.
