Finding a lot of joy in learning about art these days

Af en toe lastig te volgen. Magritte zijn schilderstijl spreekt me erg aan. Zowel de manier van schilderen als wat er inhoudelijk wordt afgebeeld. De inhoud van sommige schilderijen roepen veel vragen op. Magritte zijn surrealistische werken zetten je aan het denken. Dit boek was erg feitelijk en ik raakte regelmatig door de ingewikkelde vaktermen en lange zinnen de draad kwaad. Maar het is wel leuk om meer achtergrondinfo te lezen en meer te weten te komen over Magritte.

interesting to read about Magritte, though the commentary is limited. let's be fair though - it was more about the pretty pictures (which they very much are)
