Bo Whaley comes from a long linge of Georgia humorists. This collection borders on the line of redneck romantic and down south humor. The sappy stuff is good but it seems out of place with the other stuff. Maybe the book is in need of a good editor or better categories. His bullet point humor is some of the best i.e. "what is a real southerner", "do's and don'ts", and "things the South and North don't understand about each other." He writes from a different period in the South because of his comments that a "real Southern Republican probably moved here." Down home humor....
