Keddrick has denied claiming his mate for four years, separating them by worlds just to keep the man he loves safe…from him. Can he resist temptation when his love lands on his doorstep in need of help?

Eli has lusted after Keddrick from the moment the vampire stepped through the portal and into Earth. He had desperately wanted to follow along when Keddrick returned to Pavarus, but it wasn’t allowed—not to mention Eli was under the impression that Keddrick was straight. Four years later his wish has come true, but not in the way he wanted. Barely escaping death by the hands of Wayland, head of the human council on Earth, Eli flees to Pavarus in search of help. The line of events that get him there release a hidden secret deep inside him he never knew existed, and will soon change his life forever.

Keddrick’s restraint towards Eli is being seriously tested, and every day Eli stays with him at the coven, it gets harder. He wants to keep his distance, but at the same time he wants to do everything he can to please Eli. As time goes on, he feels his resolve slowly crumble, his love for the man too strong to ignore. When Keddrick finds out about Wayland’s threat on his and Eli’s life, he is determined to stop the madman anyway he can, even if that means going against Eli’s pleas for him not to.

Through blood and tears, years of love and moments of betrayal, can these two men find their way through the hardships and into a life of happiness in each other’s arms?

Hey everyone, I'm Jen and I'm an author of M/M erotic romance. I love M/M romance, both reading and writing it - seriously, what's better than a sexy man...two sexy men! You can't go wrong there. ;) Though I do dabble in a little bit of M/F romance, my main passion will always be smutting it up with men, men, and more men. I try to dedicate as much of my free time to writing as I can (ha! what free time?), but if I’m not typing away on my laptop, you’ll find me with my nose buried in a book, or with my loving fiance debating on what movie to watch and the never ending back and forth decision of what to have for dinner. I love spending time with my family and fiance, cuddling with my dog and two cats, and laughing as much as possible (cuz I like to think I'm funny :-D).

Some little tidbits about me are – I love animals of all sorts, I have a really big sweet-tooth, and I've been told I like to talk with my hands (insert hand gestures here).

Morvea is the second book in the Finding Home series and the sequel is just as good as the first book, Pavarus. Between the fast-paced action and strong romantic undertones, Morvea is definitely not a book to be missed!

The blurb does an excellent job at describing the story, so I won’t rehash it. Instead, I thought I’d discuss why I really loved this book and why I recommend it.

The story itself flows smoothly and continues to do so throughout the novel. I loved the world building Ms. Wright creates and found myself quickly drawn into the characters’ plights. There is plenty of action, suspense and surprise elements that kept this reader guessing as well as becoming enthralled with the story itself and I found myself reading the entire book without stopping from start to finish.

Both Eli and Keddrick are well-written, likeable and sympathetic characters. It was easy to see why these two men worked so well together. Even though they have some communication issues (who doesn’t?) the bond between them is a very strong one. I also liked how not only did they love each other, they liked each other too. There is a kinship between them that really resonated off of the written page and into my imagination that I really appreciated as a reader. I admit, there were times I wanted to shake some sense into Keddrick for dying the mating bond between them, but I also understood his fears and why he delayed it for so long.

I also loved the secondary characters in this book. The first couple in the series, Wesley and Remus, plays a big part in this book and I enjoyed seeing where their relationship has progressed. Also, there is another secondary couple, Zane and Larken, that I HOPE will have their book next. (Hopefully, Zane will wake up and realize his feelings for Larken…come on Zane…get with the program already!) All in all between the well-thought out storyline and unique and interesting characters, this comes across as a fresh read for me. It’s not your typical paranormal story (series) because it has a lot of depth and creativity of the story itself that really kept this reader anxious to see what was going to happen next!

Although, you could probably read this book as a stand-alone, I do NOT recommend doing this. To fully understand the dynamics between the characters as well as the backstory of Pavarus and the plight these characters go through, it is best to read the books in series order.

I hope Ms. Wright takes me out of my misery soon and hurries up with the sequel to this book. It’s definitely not a series to be missed and die hard paranormal/vampire fans will surely love this book as much as I did.

Highly Recommended!

This story is part of a series and best read in order. Eli fell in love the first second he laid eyes on Keddrick, but Keddrick was from Pavarus and only visiting for a month and anyway Eli is sure the sexy vampire is straight. After being attacked by the head of the human council, Wayland, Eli flees to Pavarus grievously injured, he hides the truth behind the attack from Keddrick and when Keddrick discovers the truth it drives a wedge between them. Keddrick has denied his feelings for Eli to keep Eli safe, but Eli isn’t so understanding when he finds out Keddrick is his mate, but first they both have to face the threat from Wayland before they can resolve anything between them.

I strongly recommend that you all read Pavarus before this story as there are characters and storyline links to that story. Keddrick has denied his mate Eli because of a recurring nightmare and to keep him safe from the dangers of Pavarus, when Eli appears on Pavarus injured and near death it shakes Keddrick to his foundations and it is harder to resist the urge to claim Eli as his mate. Eli ends up having more on his plate than he counted for when he recovers from his wounds; he protects Keddrick by hiding the truth, but the truth comes out and Keddrick, Remus and Zane head to Earth to put an end to the danger… expecting Eli and Wes to wait for them.

I really am enjoying this series with its parallel world and Vampires and Dragons, the simple explanation for humans and Earth and the brilliant characters that we are introduced to. In this instalment it is Keddrick and Eli’s turn to come together, with each of them trying to protect the other from danger, discovering what the other has hidden and both of them feeling betrayal. They are perfect for each other and are a good fit, they strike sparks off each other and clash and inadvertently cause each other pain, but they are each trying to do the right thing.

The storyline is really good and I loved how it played out, Jennifer Wright doesn’t pull her punches either so watch out for Jones. I love all the characters in this series and the way they work together, with the author weaving each character in so we get to know them and want their stories, I really can’t wait to read Zane and Larken’s story and I am hoping that Damien will get his own book; I also really want Aliam to have some happiness even if it is just finding peace. It was nice to see Wes and Remus and having them interacting with Keddrick and Eli without being overpowering, Ms Wright mixed them in nicely.

I will recommend this to those who love parallel worlds, vampires, a mad human bent on domination, two hot men working out their problems, danger, hot sex and a happy ending with the promise of more to come.

Morvea (Finding Home Book 2) by Jennifer Wright. I recommend that this series be read in order to fully appreciate the characters and their stories.

The beautiful Keddrick has yet to claim his mark on his mate for four years. Now that his love shows up, can he resist him? Eli has always loved Keddrick the moment he saw him. He wanted to be with him but Keddrick returned to Pavarus and Eli thought that he was also straight so that would put a hitch in his plans. Four years later the evil Wayland whose head of the council on earth almost killed Eli so he escaped and found his way to Pavarus in search of desperate help.

Keddrick is doing his best to fight off his feelings towards Eli but he is being tested every time he is around him. He does everything to make Eli happy and safe and soon his restraint will be too much for even Keddrick to handle and he will have to face his love and desire for Eli. Will their burning love be enough to have a HEA? Will Wayland destroy the years of desire these men have felt in secret for each other?

I loved the secondary characters such as Remus and Wesley and where the author took these characters as it added to the story so nicely and I loved reading about them. I am really hoping that the author writes a story about Zane and Larken as I feel their story is not finished and was so much fun read them. I am so hoping that one day Zane wakes up and realizes his true feelings for Larken. I loved that Jennifer didn't write the typical vampire paranormal book here and had a great and unique spin on this genre as it was so refreshing to read. The characters of Keddrick and Eli was a beautiful coupling of pure love and loyalty that these men had for each other.

I enjoyed the writing of this author and the way she was so detailed and how she brought the beautiful and unique world together was done so brilliantly and well written. I actually felt I was living in this world and completely captivated by this fast paced and riveting story. I have always loved this genre and now because of this series I love it even more. I couldn't recommend this novel MORVEA and the entire series...Finding Home by Jennifer Wright enough!!! Everyone needs to read it!!!!

Of all the residents in the realm of Pavarus, it is only the leader of the Vampires who continues to visit Earth. Pavarus has an agreement with the earth council. Vampire leader Keddrick also has a human estate manager for his Earth properties. For years it has been a secret tradition in the Thatcher family to assist the vampires; Eli is the last in the Thatcher line. When Keddrick pays a visit to Earth, he realized that Eli was his mate. However, Keddrick refused to claim Eli for fear it would endanger Eli to reside in Pavarus. Keddrick soon discovered that the biggest source of danger to Eli was on Earth.

Morvea is the second book in the Finding Home series. In this fascinating episode, the reader has more a glimpse of life in Pavarus compared to Earth. Pavarus is centuries behind Earth in terms of technology, yet the plot illustrates that simple is sometimes better for a peaceful life. The characters are believable as well as amusing. Keddrick is an honorable man, who is concerned for the well-being of others rather than satisfying his personal desires first. Resisting his desire to claim Eli is a test of endurance that comes close to breaking Keddrick as well as Eli. Keddrick is well aware of all that Earth has to offer; cars, phones, guns and modern household utilities. Nevertheless, Keddrick has chosen only a few luxury upgrades to the castle and no weaponry upgrades.

During Keddrick’s visit, Eli is convinced Keddrick is straight. Eli is heartbroken for being rejected by the man he fell in love with upon first sight. Shortly after Keddrick returned home, Eli’s life is in jeopardy and he discovers a power he never knew he had and escaping to Pavarus is Eli’s only salvation. As the story unfolds, revelations of insanity, lies, perceived betrayal, in addition to perceived rejection, is illustrated.

Jennifer Wright has created an excellent saga that I enjoyed immensely. Morvea has all the elements of a splendid fantasy, dramatic action, poignant characters plus exceptionally sensual intimacy scenes.
