Near death and shivering with very little food and only a few layers of clothing, Caleb has endured seven months of imprisonment. He must find a way to escape, if he ever hopes to find his wife. But there is a menacing evil lurking.
What Caleb discovers threatens to shake the very foundations of all four provinces. He must overcome his own darkness if light is ever to prevail.

I enjoyed the flashbacks, it helped explain the characters and the scenes.
