Interesting book, I found some parts to be extremely boring, especially the sections about sports and fashion and some parts way more interesting (the politics and history section) but this is, of course, only a matter of personal taste. However, I would like to see a bit more detailed explanation about the use of the subjunctive in Spanish.

Better Reading Spanish by Jean Yates, Ph.D. turned out to be a good practice and cultural study. The exercises are challenging. The short examples of Spanish writing are a refreshing change from textbook learning, although I love that too! Thank You Mc Graw Hill.
