This is fantastic, very well-written book describing the events and the people involved in the Judgement of Paris, the blind wine-tasting event that launched the success of Californian wine and paved the way for the internationalization of the quality wine market, beyond the French founders traditions. The book is a lovely and well organized reconstruction of the events, and a must read for all wine lovers. Very detailed and complete and yet light and enjoyable to read.

Fun to hear about all of the different people associated with creating Napa as it is today. Very fun if you are a wine and a Napa fan.
