About the author

I was born on 6th January, 1988 in Jalandhar (Punjab), India. I completed my high school from Apeejay School. I was a fairly good student as I exceeded in 12th boards. I completed my graduation from Lady Sri Ram College for Women (Delhi University). I then went on to prepare for Civil Services Examination but got married midway. I conceived immediately after marriage and gave birth to a beautiful girl. I started writing ‘Battered Existence’ when my daughter was only 3 months old. My in-laws gave their wholehearted support in completing the manuscript. They took care of my baby as I walked through the journey of fulfilling my dream of writing.
