This is a non-fiction novel about the fastest land animal, the cheetah. I learned they can run up to 70 miles per hour. This cheetah perfectly adapted to high-speed hunting. This animal is also threatened by predators. Also, diseases, and people who hunt them. The book talked about how they teach their cubs how to hunt and look after themselves. This was interesting to know how they survive and grow up. I also loved reading about the bottleneck population, this means that the number of individuals that are left alive may be very small. This book is about the cheetahs in East Africa and overall this is a great book and I learned much about cheetahs. I would read this book again.
