Jemily Lynwood's journey into the mysterious depths of her own once quiet and conservative neighborhood continues in episode two of The Secret Street Saga.
Catherine Converse is an independent author living with her husband and four children in beautiful Montana. She studied Business at Carroll College in Helena, Montana and Marketing Communications at West Virginia University. Her love of writing took off in her years working as a marketing consultant using creative writing to sell. Now she uses it to take readers on an adventure. The In Between series is her first journey into the world of publishing.
Jemily and the neighborhood of North Spring Street are back at it in Episode 2 of The Secret Street Saga. Neil is trying desperately to impress his father while not loosing the first girl he has ever really wanted. Jemily has resolved to be more prudent and it almost seems like the town is getting back to normal until something unfortunate happens to the Tates, the only remaining people who lived on the street 40 years ago.
This book was just as amazing as the first. Catherine does not miss a beat. Jemily is fighting with feelings she didn’t know existed, Minnie has something up her sleeve and we finally get to meet the rest of the neighborhood! Some questions are answered but far more are posed. I said it once and I will say it again… I am hooked like a fish on bait. I cannot wait to read the next book and find out more about Neil, Jemily and the rest of folks on Secret Street.
Catherine has left me hanging yet again with more questions to be answered! Distant Silence picks right up where Secret Street left off. With the death of Eleanor Snow still new and now another tragedy on North Spring Street, Detective Neil Caddell has his work cut out for him. Continue the awesome ride down Secret Street with Jemily as she questions herself and she tries to move forward with her life. New plot twists are revealed and there is definitely something there in the window. Distant Silence is an awesome quick read that I highly recommend. It will keep you entertained and the questions coming!
I am loving, The Secret Street Saga, by Catherine Converse. The second part, Distant Silence, just left me wanting more. I love Jemily and I'm hoping for her to get her guy as well as some answers about what's going on in her neighborhood. I am eagerly awaiting book 3.
I have read saga 1and 2 and really liked both. However, I felt that both books just left me out in the cold with no ending. I feel that I have not completed the book. I hope that saga 3 comes out soon and provides and actual ending to the story.
