At times as a young child all children do is want to play with older people and don't want to play with children their age or want to get attention from older people. I really like about this book the child goes around to look for some one to play and he has his little sister to play with. I like to read this to children so they can see that is Okay to play with a brother or sister.

This is such a cute little book. I love the way it builds up to Little Critter realizing his sister's been wanting to play with him the whole time. I love the way he has a variety of adventures while his family works. It's just a very sweet little book that I totally recall from being little!

I love how Critter's play is often related to what the adult (who is too busy to play with him) is doing. Very cute illustrations. They tell much of this simple story. Sweet.
