It is a very short novella more than a year after Anna and Jeff’s wedding, at Christmas. Their DJ business is growing, they are successful and popular, now invited to DJ the governor’s Christmas party. After the party, they are planning to spend Christmas Eve with their family, but first, Anna has a very special gift to Jeff.
Big Girls Do It On Christmas a nice short story about love, happiness, and contentment, and an even happier future. Very satisfying, fun, and quick read.

My life could be very neatly split it two parts: before Jeff, and after Jeff. Before I accepted his love, and learned how deeply I returned it, my life was dull, lonely, and drab. Empty. I often wondered how I had functioned without Jeff. Now, as his wife, everything was bright and vibrant. I felt alive, complete."

Before I start, this review is for the entire series to date on the Big Girls Do Series books 1-5.5
As a "fuller" woman myself, this was a nice change.
4.5 Stars!!
Anna is a 26 years old, wears a size 18 and is as she says a "Big Girl". She is one bad ass tough girl that doesn't take shit from anyone. Having had a seriously fucked up relationship in the past she...she doesn't date much.
Enter Chase Delany.....mmmm Chase.
Chase is a rockstar, I mean a full blown rockstar...leather pants and tattoos included. One night know Chase and Anna's life is turned upside down and things become more clear for her. She learns who she is and that she is a gorgeous woman despite her size.
Sometimes....the best thing for you have been sitting right in front of you for years! YEARS!
Jeff Cartwright is Anna's business partner, they have DJ'ed together for six years now. Jeff is a man a very few words, he was in the Army, served time in the war and has seen some seriously messed up shit. Anna has known he has always had somewhat of a crush on her, she saw little looks here and there but that was all, he never pushed anything, shit, he never even said anything.
With Chase living his rockstar life, Anna starts to see whats been in front of her for so many years. Jeff has always been there, always protected Anna (not that she needed it). After and what the hell moment, she came on to Jeff who happens to be a perfect gentlemen.
Throughout the series, Anna finds herself in love with two very amazing men. One who is confident, caring, comfortable and safe, the other is exciting, wild and has some kinky ideas when it comes to sex. She doesn't want to hurt either of them but she knows she can't chose one. She knows she has to chose one....but who will she choose?
I wont give any spoilers but she does make a choice, to me...the best choice ever!! Yes, she does hurt one of the men, she has too, she can't keep them both (how nice would that be) but she finds her happiness, even when put to the test, she sticks with her choice and doesn't look back.
This is definitely a good read, they are short but make you start the next right away, I read the series on a whim one night and couldn't be happier. She has a spin-off to the series as well....most likely gives away who she picks but oh well....you will love it!
The 6th installment of the series Big Girls Do it Pregnant should be out sometime in February. ( I emailed Jasinda and she gave me the estimated time)
If your like me and don't have a skinny little perfect body, or shoot, even if you do, give us big girls some lovin too!
Also the first book in the series is free on Amazon....go get it!!!!

Big Girls Do it on Christmas by Jasinda Wilder is a continuation in the Big Girls series. For the unfamiliar, Big Girls is a romance series that features a full figured woman having a positive romantic relationship and happily ever after ending. They usually appear in a very short novella form of 4,000 words.
Since the book is written in first person, it is hard to name our heroine, but she’s married now. There has been a series of novellas leading up to the marriage. It might be better to read them in order. Book 1 is Big Girls Do It Better. This is book five. It starts as the happily married couple deejay a big shindig at the governor’s mansion. The narrator and her husband are an adorable pair, but she has a secret that she worries about telling her new husband.
The chemistry between the two of them works well. It is an easy read, but doesn’t address much besides the secret she needs to confess, there needs to be more of a story. The prose moves well, and I would like to read more.
Big Girls Do It on Christmas is a must have for fans who’ve read all the other Big Girls tales. It is a fast read before bed, and is available for .99 on Amazon. I would suggest reading the other books before this one, because you’ll be missing a great deal. The combination of the novellas would equal a regular book.

Got it for free on Amazon for my kindle...I just needed to read it. I am not like the ones that read ahead or find out the ending to something have it ruined for them. Not that there is anything wrong with it. Just for me, I still want to know the workings of it, how they got to that ending, what happened, how, when, who was involved...So regardless I read ahead and can go back and keep following the serries. Even if a book within the series was disappointing. *shrug shoulders and self points* the wierd one, always and loving it!

This was cute, although it would have been better as an Epilogue! I liked how Jeff was reassuring to Anna regardless of her concerns for what they are about to embark...sorry can't spill these beans for obvious reasons. Check it out :)

3 stars for Closure
Okay, so I kinda cheated, I skipped the 5th book and went straight for this because at least I knew I would finally get the closure I needed. I was tired of the constant back and forth, I was ready to just smack her into making a decision. Did it end up how I wanted it to, I have no clue because by this time I just needed a decision to be made.

I was a little disappointed in this short book. Its only 14 pages, but I wanted to know how Jaime and Chase got together, and their marriage. I really thought that's what would have been in this book, plus more on Anna and Jeff. I just thought there was a lot of story in between not told and it left me wondering

This is just a little insight from what happens after the big girl wedding. I loved it! Like I've said a hundred times, this is the series that made me fall in love with Jasinda Wilder books! Way before the falling into series. This is very short, just a Novella but Anna and Jeff are amazing and it will bring a tear to your eye!

This saddens me to say that I was actually disappointed in this book. I was just expecting more, more about the families coming together after the wedding.. but it just didn't happen. I think the series could have done with out this book.

Anna has a big surprise for Jeff in this short story. I didn't really see this one coming since she mentioned her previous relationship fell through because of the fact she couldn't have children. But this solidifies her relationship to Jeff. Yes she's pregnant, she tells him after a DJing gig at a charity event. Jeff worries about having sex with the baby as the two work out baby names and Anna worries if he'll still find her attractive while pregnant.

Ok short read.
I didn't read the book before this one but I was happy to read the Anna ended up marrying Jeff who clearly was the better choice for her. This book was an ok short read it literally is about their happy ever after a year into their marriage.

This was a sweet uber short edition to a fun series. However, inconsistencies in a storyline is a huge pet peeve of mine and unless I missed something Jasinda made a major one here. Hopefully, this can be explained in the next book.
I still love this series though and can't wait to see what will happen in 2013.

A cute little quickie. Anna & Jeff are DJ'ing a private party before christmas & now is the time for Anna to tell Jeff that she is pregnant. As usual Anna has too many doubts. She is thinking that Jeff might not be happy about this news & that it's too soon as they have only been married just over a year.
She couldn't be more wrong, Jeff is surprised by the news, they had talked about trying for a family & Anna has only a few months ago just come off the pill. But as usual, her fears are all in her mind, Jeff is the most attentive & loving husband. He cherishes Anna & is over the moon about this, he can't wait & will probably drive her nuts worrying about her too much now.
Nice little segway to lead us into the 3rd series involving Anna & Jeff & Jamie & Chase, when we will get to read how Big Girls do it Pregnant. Looking forward to it.

The story itself was sweet....

And Jeff as usual very sweet....

My Review: While this may have spoiled the rest of the series, which I plan on going back and reading as soon as I have the opportunity, I really enjoyed this short story. It was very short but had a lot of emotion packed in and you can feel the love radiating from the characters. It brought back some very happy memories from a Christmas 2 years ago for me. I definitely encourage all of you to read the whole series, if only to get to this book!
