Rue Volley, who also writes as Elle Lee Hicks, lives in the Midwest in an old Victorian house with her husband and a spoiled Pug, crafting immersive, character-driven stories. She loves curling up in her favorite hoodie on rainy days with a great whodunit and collecting book trophies. Rue is a dedicated mood reader and never leaves the house without her Kindle Oasis, an iced coffee, and a list of books to buy.

This last installment in this series takes you on a wild ride into the truth of Rue Volley.

The angel Michael has risen and he is full of vengence and hate. There is no love loss for him towards Josh or Rue. Entering into Rue's sleepy little world. Where she feels safe and loved with all of her family around he takes chaos to a whole new level, but Rue's love for Josh is deep enough and true enough to see through Michael's glamour.

In her fight to save her love she must accept the truth about her life and her creation. The only way to save herself is through HOPE and letting go. Will it be enough? Is Rue finally strong enough to let go and find the hope that she needs?

You will have to read for yourself for the answers. I loved this story and the hope and light it brings into Rue's world of darkness and torment. Acceptance is a strong motivation to change things to the way they are supposed to be. I laughed and I cried and I loved these characters fully.

This was a good ending to the series. I would have enjoyed it much better if it didn’t go into memories so much and we got a straight story but I guess to keep it the same as the other books in the series I can understand that the “memories” are a big part of the series. Overall this series was good and it was definitely funny. I enjoyed all of the characters in this series both good & evil and this series is definitely full of twists that you won’t see coming. I recommend this book to anyone looking to read a funny paranormal read.

ok...6 books was WAY TOO much. I loved the books, the characters, but then the plot repeated itself 3 times from book 3-6. If I had to read anymore about Rue changing time and changing everyone's memories again, I was going to walk away from the series. By the end, I was just glad it was finished. Great stuff in there, but 6 books really hurt the enjoyment of the story. 4 books tops would have been perfect.

I absolutely loved the last installment of this series, although I am sad to have it end. As always this book had many twists and turns and keep me on the edge of my seat. I love Rue Volley and I recommend this series to anyone who loves a good vampire story especially when if differs from the sparkly ones.

The last book in the story is again filled with passion, revenge, blood and bloodlust. A faster read than the other books in the author's collection in the series this is a nightly wrapped gift to end of the series with no outstanding questions and no loose ends.
