NOTE: I HAVEN’T READ THE PUBLISHED BOOK SO THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE WATTPAD STORY AND SINCE THIS STORY IS WRITTEN IN TAGALOG/FILIPINO I WILL ALSO USE THE SAME LANGUAGE FOR MY BOOK REVIEW
- How well it is written? – 3/5 The way Alyloony wrote the story, para lang siyang nagkukwento and I guess that’s what most reader wants specially in the Wattpad world. My Prince supposedly will be the story about Arcie and his prince pero sobrang dami ng Segway na nagpapagulo sa story and nagpapa-inconsistent sa title. - Plot – 2/5 Yes, madaming kilig moments but let’s face it CLICHÉ. - Description – 3/5 Again, the description is too cliché, a commoner being involved with an elite. Unrequited love. Poor maiinlove sa mayaman or vice versa. Paulit ulit na. The only thing na makakapagpabasa sayo ng story is the word Star Six na parang mapapaisip ka, ano kaya yun. But I repeat that’s it only.
I remembered this book being passed down row by row in our classroom, and I took it home when it reached my hands (the owner didn't know!! I know, I know it sounds like stealing but I handed it back the next day!). I finished the book in one sitting, my butt didn't even hurt. I'd read anything with a cover, back in my coming-of-age era.
TBH, i didn't like that much the book 1. i rate it 4.3 stars because of the events happened in the story BUT book 2 made it! i really like the story that happened in book 2 although it was cliché, i still like it. i love it! 💕 i want to be Arcie Morales! i want to portray her 🥺🤪 & i want to have a man like Jiro Festin! 😌 hahaha.
OVER ALL NAKAKAKILIG! i'm a little bit attached to this story but i need to move on as fast as i can and read another story!
i love it because from the start,it's so romantic, funny because of the couple and so outrageous.oh i forgot,"My Prince" is too many emotions when you read it!

Why do I feel like this was a Special A knock-off? I loved that anime and when I read this, I can definitely see the similarities...
The writing was just okay, the characters are shallow with little to no character development, the plot was hackneyed and there were too many ridiculous scenes.
Book 1 is cute. I can imagine it as a Filipino rom com, in all its silly, kilig glory.
Book 2 wasn't as good. I didn't like the Amber plotline, parang naging super telenovela na yung scheming to get between Arcie and Jiro. I skimmed a lot of the final chapters.
