The gang is back! This is a highly entertaining and amusing story. More magic, more trouble. Never a dull moment on the Island. This story is jammed packed with characters and action. At times it was hard to follow at times because of so many points of views overlapping. I sometimes had to go back and see who’s point of view I was reading. Most of the characters have grown on me so it felt like I was catching up with old friends. I enjoyed it immensely! Again, the author added her own twist on mythological creatures. It was interesting. This is fast becoming a fave series of mine! I can’t wait to read more! I give this 5 stars.

Again I was blown away with the storyline. As I read the story and see myself standing there with everyone, I crave to be a part of the book. Paranormal creatures of all kinds come together to bring down the evil Queen of the Fae. This world could take a lesson from this book. All paranormal creatures, most didn’t get along, some ate each other, others are feuding over territory and so one. But when all called together to bring down this Queen, they came together and put aside their differences. They fought side by side as one .
This is becoming one of my favorite series. I love MaMere, she seems to be a mother figure to all good paranormal creatures, loving, nurturing and caring. I love the old legends and myths told during the story. I love that God is the creator of them all and MaMere serves him.
The battle was way cool this time, as it was more on the modern side. I like when the author mixes modern and old ways together. It brings the battles more to life.
I highly recommend this book and series. I truly hope the next book comes out real soon.

Epic Read! Sonia Brock is a story genius! I made the mistake of reading this book first ...lol... silly me and it is great as a stand alone story but I defiantly recommend you read the first one as there were certain things I didn't understand in this one until I read the first as they aren't explained in this one.

I loved this book though I found this story even better then the first! the battles were better and the characters more developed. I loved seeing the relationships and friendships grow, and the villain in this one was totally EPIC!

I know I have said it before but Villains are the best part of the book! without them there is nothing for the heroes to do but sit on there butts..lol..In this one MaMere goes up against the biggest and baddest foe ever! and the battle is so awesome! there are even more creatures in this one too.

I like that this one goes more into the the histories of the characters and the island as well. We get to go on many new adventures and learn so many twists about the characters you will be left on the edge of your seat! and not only does the story take to the sky's in this one but goes totally underground!

this series is one of the best and is great for all the supernatural genre fans out there! I highly recommend both these books!

After reading the first book in this series I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book is a continuation of the first. More twists, more turns, it kept me intrigued the entire time. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next WHAM! you get hit with a surprise.

If you like action movies guys, this book is a good one. Filled with action and humor you won't get bored. As far as romance goes this one also has it. Humorous and more like what real life relationships entail, this one will have you rooting for the Pirate? Oops is this a spoiler? Maybe not.

I loved the addition of the new characters and was intrigued by the direction the Author took them.

A Witch’s Welcome by Sonia Taylor Block is an intriguing and vivid book. Block’s unique pen makes the scenes come alive in my mind. This book is rich with unique characters! My favorite characters are Sam and Max the last known dragons, The Mab the Queen, the historical pirate Jean Lafitte who now sails as a…well I am not going to spoil it for you. A witch’s Welcome is a book that will appeal to those who love vampires, trolls, goblins, gnomes and Fae folk.

A Witch’s Welcome is an epic adventure! I loved the first book of this series and I am thrill the saga continues.

What a wild ride. I loved the originality of the first book and the second was even more so. There are several protagonists that enrich this down home ripe Louisiana paranormal tale. The dialogue (especially Stella's) is multi-layered and delights me. But my favorite is Jean the alligator. I fell in love with him as Stella's familiar in the first book and was rewarded with a deep fleshing out of his story. I also enjoyed the relationship between Jean and Dan. A great buddy bonding between a human man and a magical enigma. The rest was all delicious whipped cream for me.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Again, it takes a while for this book to warm up!

I said in my review for The Swamp Witch, that the book flips from various characters from first to third person with no warnings. It does that here too, but MORE so! We get Dan again, in the first person, and we get Jamie too, in the first person, but Jamie's voice flips from first to third at points along the way and its confusing! All it needs, is the person's name under the chapter title, thats all!

I'm still unsure of the children's point, not twins, as I said before. I mean I get they are the Balance of all things, but I don't see their point in being in this whole saga! Because it is a saga, these are not short books, and with the having to doubly concentrate because I don't know who is speaking all the time, it has taken me far longer to read that it should have.

The book's only saving grace, is that there is not so much of the local Louisiana lingo to decipher.

While they defeated Queen Maab in this book, the vampire is still at large. And I wonder which other paranormal beings might pop up along the way!!

Again, 3 GOOD stars.

This lovely read is a classical story filled with intrigue, mystical creatures, suspense, goblins, ghouls, alligators and of course, royalty. The author spins a lovely story with vivid descriptions and likable characters while bringing in legend and mysticism. If you are a fan of classical adventure and fantasy this is a wonderful read. Recommended without reservation. So happy there is another!

Plots and elements enough for two novels, tons of characters. Sounds great, but the writing style, and helter-skelter course the reader takes through the plot left me unsatisfied. I hate to give it one star, both because I like the author and hope to help my fellow authors, but this book would need a serious rewrite for me to enjoy it.
