This book was a very exclusive type of literature in the way that is shows everything that happens to the Chapin family. It shows so many of the struggles that William Chapin goes through because the book is written by him in his perspective. This book displays what happened to Mark Chapin after he started his drug use and this book shows his feeble attempts to get better and his relapses back into narcotics.
