I’m giving this book 5 stars because it holds a special place in my heart. It was the very first book I ever bought with my saved-up lunch money back in high school. I found it in an old, tiny, almost crumbling, once well-known bookshop called Merriam & Webster Bookstore. I even got it in a hardbound edition for a student-friendly kind of cheap price. It’s bittersweet to think that my beloved bookstore is now closed, and has been for a long time now, but it’s filled with so many cherished memories. I used to visit after class just to browse the shelves on the dimly lit second floor, where it often felt like I was the only one there, occasionally sharing the space with just a person or two (no wonder they closed down). I'd say this book played a huge role in shaping my love for reading, and it awakened my curiosity to explore other genres unknown to me at that time.
