Professional work on strategy, government war planning , deterrence and an interesting concept called compellence.
There have been some new developments on the global stage with attendant shifts in balances and priorities which are incongruous to some of the author’s theories and conclusions. Nevertheless, it is an eminent work that is a must read in its field of study.
