I enjoyed this book but was a little tame. Former pro football player, Joe Scalotta, comes to a small town with his daughter and meets his match in PE coach and little league coach, Evie Vaughn. Follow along with these parents as they spar and watch their children grow.

This is a story of how an ex-football player who met a a high- school baseball coach and turned into a lovesick teenager. And the fact that this football player had a daughter and this coach had a son that happened to be attracted to each other wasn't an issue.

I think it's the light incest that made me like this book and not love it because otherwise it's a pretty well-written romance.

The dialogue was fun and interesting and the plot was sweet. I really enjoyed reading it except when I cringed at the teenage puppy love scenes.

I found it weird that everyone seemed fine with the arrangement, so the HEA just left me feeling conflicted.

Anyway, I discovered a new writer to watch out for.

Wonderful story with great characters. Evie and her kids were really amazing. Love the twins. She was well determinate what she wants in life, what is her goal. Joe is a true hero. Willing to sacrifice his professional to look after the kids.
