When cyborg intelligence meets sensual robotics, circuit boards sizzle.

Einstein was probably the only cyborg in existence with no interest in the opposite sex, until he discovered B785. With her sensual nature and quirky sense of humor, she draws this cybernetic geek out of his scientific shell and teaches him the one thing he’s never understood – passion.

Tired of being a slave to the military, Bonnie went to sleep one day with the intention of never waking up, but she didn’t count on a cybernetic prince charming bringing her back to life. Coming to terms with her past isn’t easy, but harder still is the realization that even a bionic princess can fall in love.

However, all fairy tales have a villain, and despite the fact the military wrote them both off as a loss, they soon discover they’ll need to fight to have their happily ever after.

Actually it's a 4 and 1/2 stars.
Cute book that made me laugh. Geeky cyborg and sassy heroine!
Einstein is so fanny in his geekyness. He takes everything litelly and at the beginning has no sense of humor. He also think that he's incapable of any emotion. He doesn't understand why he's so attracted to Bonnie and why he cannot control his libido in her presence.
Bonnie, on the other hand is his exact opposite: she's sexy, a little slutty, but in a cute way, she's relentless in her pursuing of Einstein, she's a very dirty mauth and dirtier mind! She has a ready reply, sarcastic or dirty, for everybody. I laughed during her banter with Aramus and with Seth! :D
Why the 1/2 star less... I was expecting more of the story, even if the dialogue was excellent. I don't know if it was because it was short, but something vital was missing... everything was too simple - there was no expectation. But since I love the Langlais' cyborgs I'll be waiting to read Seth's story! :D

This book is actually as well written as the others in this interesting series, but I felt compelled to lower its star rating because of what I feel is a major character flaw.

The heroine, Bonnie, is a sassy, bold and intelligent woman, yet she freely admits that her life before the car accident that turned her and her sister into cyborgs was filled with partying and meaningless sex. Never is it said what personal pain prompted her self-destruction, and it seems unlikely that, considering Bonnie relates that unlike other cyborgs her memory of every minute of her life before and after her change is intact, those psychological issues would simply dissolve. I was similarly VERY offended by a line in this novel, one in which Bonnie is reflecting on all the rape and terror she and her sister endured. She contemplates how much harder it was on Chloe who was always shy and less experienced than it was for Bonnie who could better handle "the emotional and physical" effects of repeated rape. Excuse me? There was no cyborg explanation for that statement, so I'm gathering that somehow Bonnie is saying her previous promiscuous past prepared for rape and that's total bullshit. Particularly factoring in Bonnie's memory, it would stand to reason that she would have a host of issues that needed to be worked through, at least in some passing way of having a "program" that could help her before diving into a sexual relationship.

Are Bonnie and Einstein not believable as a couple? No. They are individually wonderful and a great match, but I could never successfully suspend my disbelief at the incongruity between Bonnie's past and her current behavior.

Ah, the cyborgs. I’ve really been enjoying this series. They are a group of former humans who the military turned into cyborgs, usually after some sort of life threatening injury. Most of the cyborgs have had their memories wiped and they don’t remember their lives as humans. They were meant to be slaves to the humans, but that is until they left some of the cyborgs so smart that they were able to override some of the controls. Then the cyborgs revolted. They now live on their own planet. They are at war with humans, but they really just want to be left alone to live their own lives.

Einstein was one of those super smart cyborgs. He was formerly known as IQ221. He is the only one left of his kind. The others of his kind didn’t survive the purge when the humans decided that the cyborgs had outlived their usefulness. He lives entirely off logic. He doesn’t understand the emotions that have arisen in some of his brethren. He longs for the ability to joke around and have conversations with them. He just didn’t seem to have it in him. Mostly, he didn’t understand their need for sex. It wasn’t a biological need and he just didn’t see the point of it. He had tried sex once with one of the sexbots that the others used, but just didn’t see the point of it.

B785 was a special model. She was made with the ability to turn off her pain, which made the military have hard time controlling her. The torture that they put the other cyborgs through didn’t work with her because she could survive the torture as if it were nothing. She even lost her eyes and had to have them replaced with machine eyes, which looked like emeralds. However, when the commander tells her that her sister is gone, B785, Bonnie, shuts down completely until she is doesn’t seem to function at all.

When Einstein finds Bonnie in stasis in a brothel, he is able to get the maintenance man to give her over since she didn’t seem to be working. Once he gets to her come back to life with a kiss, of all things, she proceeds to change everything he thought he knew about the world.

I loved watching Bonnie getting Einstein out his shell. He had such a hard time with it. Bonnie is such a strong character. The guys kept wanting to treat her like she was made of glass and she would have none of it. Part of that was because she was putting herself down as not a good person, but she also felt that one cyborg was not worth more than the group, which I thought was very admirable. She had never even been to the cyborg planet and met most of the other cyborgs, but she was already trying to protect the society that they had built.

“You’re right. I do car. Very much.”
“I don’t know why you sound so surprised.”
“Emotions are hormonal imbalances. I control my hormonal levels. Or did until I met you.”
She wrinkled her nose and laughed. “You know that wasn’t exactly the most romantic declaration.” “I didn’t realize my words were meant to be a romantic declaration.
I was just stating my current state of mind.”
“Let me clear it up for you. I think I’ve fallen in love with you, Einstein.”

“You know Aramus will blame me.”
“Me better not or I’ll have him singing show tunes,” Einstein growled.
She giggled. “That’s just mean.”
“For everyone who has to listen.”
The devilish grin on his face had her laughing. “Oh and to think I used to think you lacked a sense of humor.”
“I did until I met you. I might have woken you from your sleep, but you woke me to my humanity.”
If she could have shed tears, she would have; as it was, her throat tighten. “Now that was romantic.”
“It was?”
“Most definitely.” She kissed him.

Einstein and Bonnie

I really liked Einstein from the previous books he had some of the best one-liners.
This being his book I was intrigued, also being as it is Chloe’s sister it was extra special.

I very much enjoyed how she brings him into himself if that makes sense, he is very reserved and by the book and she gets him to loosen him up.

I wasn’t expecting what went down to happen that was a great twist! I can’t wait for the next book, unfortunately, it isn’t in Audible Escape maybe one day.

Great narration!

While Einstein is fixing sex-bots on a pleasure ship he discovers a coffin shaped box with a life like sex-bot that the owner can't seem to reboot. He gave her to Einstein to do with as he pleases since she's just going to be trashed. After closer examination he starts to realize she's too realistic, that she could be one of the 12 female cyborgs.

Another great edition to the series!

I loved Einstein. Certainly a beta hero, but funny and sweet ()

Bonnie was pretty funny too. I enjoyed her humor and toughness and total acceptance of Einstein. But to be fair since I do call out the male versions - she was a slut before her life changed. But I held no ill will towards her.

B785 by Eve Langlais

A futuristic sci-fi romance where the humans that were built into cyborgs by the military have revolted and are now relearning their humanity and finding love.
In this book, the geek gets the girl. He accidentally awakens her with an uncharacteristic, impulsive kiss. She’s feisty, smart and irresistible. He’s not technically a virgin, but doesn’t understand the appeal. Most innuendo and sexual joking goes right over his head.

Filled with humor mostly on the geek’s naïveté, the couple falls in love while crossing the galaxy, fighting the military and learning about themselves.

Adorable, funny and romantic.

A pretty good sci-fi adventure romance with the H/h being cyborgs. There's action and steamy romance scenes, plus some fun scenes. It's a good idea to read this series from the beginning to understand everything, but you can read all as stand alones. 3.5 stars.

Ever since the cyborgs discovered that there were female cyborgs still alive it's been a priority to locate and rescue them if possible. To date only three have been found. Despite having the brilliant Einstein running all types of scenarios and searching all known pathways, they haven't been able to locate any more of the females.

Seth, Aramus, and the crew get the opportunity to enjoy a little R&R at a bordello while Einstein repairs the damaged and broken robots and computer system for the owner. Einstein, a reclusive geek cyborg genius, has no need of physical intimacy so it's all work while his brothers enjoy themselves. Just as he's finished with all the needed repairs, he notices one android that is about to be thrown out as trash as it's beyond repair. Einstein salvages the robot with plans to use it for spare parts. Little does he realize he's just found one of the missing female cyborgs who is about to shake up the rigid code of conduct Einstein lives by.

Another fun installment in the Cyborgs: More Than Machines series. Einstein is the cyborg equivalent of Sheldon, Spock, or Data (Star Trek, next generation) who is confronted by a very sexually liberated open minded female who won't take no for an answer. I was extremely excited as B785 started to show signs that she would take on a dominate role in their relationship. Could it be that I'd get my wish and this would be a FemDom themed book? Sorry... You'll need to read this to find out for yourself if you want to know the answer. hehe

My issues were that for this read the romance and adult content AND the snarkiness between the different characters shined but the actual story line didn't. Maybe my expectations have risen with the previous two installments OR maybe creative decisions needed to be made that resulted in this book being more of a filler to the series instead of continuation. Whatever. As a fan it did scratch my itch in regards to Einstein finally getting his cherry popped. Does give me hope for Sheldon and Amy though. :D

Not much more to say than I'm enjoying the series and cast of characters. I do wish the previous characters would have come back more than they were as I always have a hard time when favorites of previous installments of a series leave, never to return.

I just love Eve’s cyborgs. They are each amazingly different and often times a victim of the programming the military cursed them with. Einstein has been entertaining read in the previous books. He has felt that his programming prevented him from ever feeling the emotions that some of his fellow cyborgs experience. He watches his comrade’s joke with their teammates, become angry, he has seen the newly rescued females experience grief, he has even seen a couple fall in love. He wants to be more human, less machine. Einstein simply believes his programming is incapable of sentience, until he meets Bonnie.

Bonnie grew tired of her circumstances one day and proved mind over matter was for the best. Believing that life without her sister didn’t matter she shut her mind down and went into a self-inflicted stasis. She had been teetering on the edge due to the extensive abuse she had incurred at the hands of the people who used her as an experimental weapon, the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of malicious soldiers, the news of her sister was too much for her to want to carry on. Bonnie felt that a permanent sleep was the only solution to blight.

Unexpectedly waking from her sleep is just the beginning of Bonnie’s new life. She now has a new family full of cyborgs like her. She has a handsome prince that needs a little more spark in his life and she has just the fire he needs. Bonnie keeps Einstein questioning his programming at every turn. He has never experienced a firecracker quite like her and watching him adjust to her is quality literary entertainment! Bonnie’s pizazz brings out qualities in Einstein’s personality that he never realized he had.

I do believe that the Cyborgs: More Than Machines books can work as stand alone reads. The couples from the previous books are mentioned, but not to the point that it causes confusion when reading. The mention of previous books will just make you curious enough to go back and read those books. Readers are given a little snippet of which one of these sexy cyborgs will get the next book in the series. The brief mention about his heroine has me very eager to see what Eve has in store for him.

Favorite quote, Einstein to Bonnie: ”I might have woken you from your sleep, but you woke me to my humanity.”

Man, I love these cyborgs! The males are just so delightfully clueless about the opposite sex sometimes that I can't help but laugh. Poor Einstein. Bonnie's a runaway freight train that he just can't get away from. And then he realizes that he doesn't want to get away from her and things get VERY interesting.

Bonnie is... well, I liked her. The abuse that the military subjected all the female cyborgs to is horrific and she not only managed to survive what they had done but she also came out of it with her humanity intact. Her attraction to Einstein hits her out of the blue but she's not the type of cyborg to ignore her wants and she's goes after him. And after him. And after him. It's kinda awesome to watch.

And then there's Einstein. He doesn't see the point of sex and he doesn't have the drives that the other soldiers have... right up until Bonnie falls into his lap. Not literally. When they finally come together, he becomes a perpetually horny cyborg sex machine. Again... it's kinda awesome to watch!

Bad guys, good guys, hot sexin' in a variety of positions, and a reunion between cyborg sisters. ALL THE THINGS THAT MAKE THESE BOOKS OUTSTANDING!

O no.

Not as good as the first two in this series, but I still liked it. EL's books are taking on a disturbing snarky, shallow, quasi-comedic style that I don't like, but hopefully she gets back to her core writing style asap. There is only so many wisecracking, plucky heroines I can take. It just comes across as shallow. I also didn't like hearing about certain incidents in passing. Why not take a few minutes and add in some scenes that would have given the book a little more emotional depth? Is EL just trying to crank out books as fast as possible, with emotional depth a casualty of war?

This is the 3rd book in the series and picks up Einstein and Bonnie's story. Einstein is the brilliant, but socially awkward cyborg of the group and doesn't know how to handle his sudden emotions and need for the newly discovered cyborg woman while Bonnie struggles feeling good enough for super intelligent and good Einstein. There was camaraderie, passion, tension and excitement along with a strong does of humor to make this a fantastic story.

If read after book one, it probably could be read out of order though its much better reading them in a row.

I really enjoy this series. It is fun, fast paced, sexy and sweet. We have a geeky cyborg hero here and a bad girl cyborg. Niether feels they are good enough for the other but these feelings are quickly overcome and we get to just enjoy this couple falling in love.

As with many novels about cyborgs, part of the the joy of this book is the hero coming into his humanity. He is very sweet and very geeky. It is great!

Seth's story is up next!

Sheldon & Amy in The Big Bang Theory

This scene says it all. Sheldon is the cyborg Einstein (formerly IQ221) disconnected from emotion, socially awkward with an off the charts intellect, and completely disinterested in sex. The only difference is that Einstein kisses and awakens his Sleeping Beauty as a last resort as nothing he'd tried to fix the cyborg female worked.

Fair warning: I ❤ Sheldon and Eve Langlais did him justice. *fangirl squee*

Bonnie as our Sleeping Beauty is a unique heroine. She's a former good-time girl, regularly binge drinking and sleeping with so many men that she loses count.

“Hey, the more the merrier. You should try it sometime. A good, old fashioned gang bang might loosen you up.” Bonnie leered at her. Chloe’s lips tightened. “No, thank you. Some of us prefer to be choosier about our partners.” “Prude.”“Slut.” The vulgar word, so crude and unexpected, hung in the air between them. Hurtful. True. A slap that almost sobered her. Anger swept through Bonnie, anger and… shame.

That's until Bonnie calls her sister Chloe to pick her up when she's too drunk to get home and Bonnie causes them to crash, which sees them both repaired by turning them into cyborgs.

Bonnie gets lucky in that the military outfits her with the ability to turn off her pain receptors at will, gifting her with the means to withstand the torture the female cyborgs were subjected to in order to break them. Among the torture techniques was rape.

Funny how it never occurred to any of the jerks that perhaps she’d never possessed a choice. That perhaps she’d done the things she had out of self-preservation or to protect the others, protect the ones less mentally able to handle it. Men always assumed because she didn’t put up much of a fight that she wanted sex with them. Not really, but back then, while she’d not been given a choice and had to let them do as they pleased, now she called the shots.

...she’d been around enough to handle the emotional and physical rape. But poor Chloe. She never deserved it. But she’s found happiness finally, despite it all.

When rape failed to cow Bonnie, she was subjected to further torture in the pit where she lost her organic eyes. In Bonnie's place, I'd have submitted by now but she was determined not to let the General win. It gave her perverse satisfaction. However, when our male cyborg rebels liberate Bonnie's sister, the General lies to Bonnie by telling her:

All the female units are being terminated, except for you. You, I think we’ll keep. I hear the prisoners on Gamma thirty-one have been rioting since they broke their last sexdroid.”

As soon as he'd told her Chloe was dead, she gave up the fight and gave up living.

Poking, prodding, and the other things they did to the shell encasing her conscience didn’t touch her. The military did its best to wake her, but stopped short of killing her. A shame, because she wanted to die. However, suicide was not an option for a machine meant to live forever. She gave it her best shot, though. Holding her breath achieved nothing. Refusing oral sustenance just sent her nanobots into overdrive drawing nutrients from the objects around her. How could she kill herself when her very body betrayed her? With no other available option, she did the only thing she could. She shut down her mind. Inwards she pulled her senses, imagining her synapses going dark, closed her eyes against a world that long ago lost all color. She pictured herself turned to stone, a true robotic statue, unresponsive to all stimuli.

It worked. Bonnie appeared to be a malfunctioning, ultra-realistic sexbot that the brothel manager is about to dump in the trash because he's been unable to figure out what's wrong with her despite many attempts at repair, until Einstein comes upon her while trading his technical expertise in exchange for payment so his fellow male cyborgs can fulfil their sexual urges and control their testosterone levels.

Einstein's first impressions of the brothel workshop are true to life:

Einstein couldn’t help but make a sound of disgust as he saw the mess some of the female robots were in. “What are they doing to them?” he muttered. “Anything and everything, ” Bob replied, running his hands almost lovingly down the intact arm of one bot whose head hung askew. “It’s why we don’t use human girls anymore . It’s easier to reattach a robot arm than a flesh one. Less messy and noisy too.” Einstein didn’t ask why someone would want to remove a limb during sex in the first place. Some things, a cyborg really didn’t need to know.

From my review of feminist non-fiction The Purity Myth :

Real Dolls -woman replacements for the men who buy them. They're tailored to a buyer's exact specifications and can basically do whatever they want to them without consequences. An interview with a repairman is disturbing: 'he spoke about badly mutilated dolls with their breasts hanging off, their hands and fingers severed.' Whether they're men turned off real women by porn, simply intimidated by independent women, or unable to attract a woman for their misogynist attitudes, isn't clear but the danger they might represent to a real woman in future, is.

Einstein is Sheldon through and through.

“You mean you brought a sexbot back?” Seth’s brows arched up. “Einstein, you dog.” “I possess no canine DNA.”

Where his brothers enjoyed lusty appetites for food and flesh, Einstein ate because he had to and as for sexual relief, well, he just didn’t see the appeal. Inserting a part of himself into the lubricated orifice of another for a few minutes of friction? Why? He just didn’t understand it, like he didn’t grasp their excitement at visiting a bordello featuring robotic females programmed to aid with ejaculation. Again, he couldn’t figure out where the appeal lay. However, not grasping why his fellow brothers needed sex didn’t mean he spoiled it for them. Much.
“Don’t forget to run decontamination protocols when you’re done evacuating the semen from your testes,”

Einstein's kiss awakening Bonnie is life-changing. Bonnie feels completely safe in his care, probably because he's the first man not to rape or hit on her. This has an unusual side effect: he presents a challenge, so she does everything she can to seduce him.

His geeky, stutter-y trying-to-hide-arousal embarrasment just eggs her on. Einsteins reaction to her flummoxes him and for the first time ever he has no idea what to do, so he runs.

He took to hiding out in the gym and when she found him there and insisted they spar, pinning him more than once to the mat with a triumphant grin when he just couldn’t bring himself to block her, he almost gave in to his baser human urges. He found a new hiding spot in the engine room, but the cyborgs there ribbed him about his “girlfriend” and gave him up when she came looking. Heck, even Seth ridiculed him, using their mental communicator to call him a “chicken ,” and “an idiot for not eating the cake.” What did food have to do with it?

Finally succumbing opens Einstein up. He gives her treats, starts to fear for her life, feels jealousy and defends her honour:

“So we’ll take turns. Although, if you’re the Bonnie the soldiers used to talk about back on the base, then the way I hear it, you used to handle more than two back in the day.” Lucky her, even years later in space, her reputation preceded her....

“How.” Whack. “Dare.” Kick. “You.” Punch. “Speak to her that way,” Einstein shouted, enunciating each word with distinction. “No matter what her past or what the military made her do, Bonnie is a guest on our ship and a lady. As such, you will treat her with respect!” “Yes, sir .”

Insecurity starts to bother Einstein. He's too inexperienced when it comes to sex and relationships.

What did he have to offer her? He was a science geek among his brethren. The weakest in battle. The smallest cyborg among a horde of giants. She deserved so much better.

He underestimates himself:

"I was a juvenile delinquent in foster care who came to their attention because I hacked a secure website.” “Must have been some hack.” “Apparently, the CIA took offense at a fourteen-year-old getting past their safeguards.”

“According to records? Twenty-five. Apparently, they kept me incarcerated for quite a number of years before entering me in the cyborg program.” “No wonder you’re so clueless. You never really had a chance to live.”

A smart computer capable of thinking was a risky prospect. A smart computer capable of thinking who discovered he possessed free will and was enslaved? That made a menace the human military couldn’t tolerate. If they’d caught on. Once Einstein discovered what they’d done to him, he easily circumvented the programming of his creators without them suspecting a thing. However, freeing himself wasn’t enough. He also quietly began to liberate others, starting with the other two IQ models stationed on other bases. In an uprising they planned under the military’s very noses, they released their brothers in bondage from the reins shackling them. But they didn’t count on the rage of the cybernetic solider units when they discovered the perfidy done to them.

It's wonderful watching Einstein grow in confidence:

“Nothing a shower and some therapy won’t fix.” “Therapy?” Bonnie’s brow arched. “I thought you said you were okay?” “Physically, but mentally, I think I need some healing.” Immediately, her face creased in concern. “What can I do to help?” “Get the shower going.” “How is that supposed to help?” Seth laughed. “Oh, princess. I think you’ve created a monster. Brainiac here needs some sexual healing, which means I should get out of here.”

“Emotions are hormonal imbalances. I control my hormonal levels. Or did until I met you.” She wrinkled her nose and laughed. “You know that wasn’t exactly the most romantic declaration.”

"I might have woken you from your sleep, but you woke me to my humanity.”

[Sheldon kisses Amy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zva3SR...]

Fairy tale quotes:

Like a flower unfurling in sunlight, or more aptly, the sleeping princess who wakens at the gentle kiss of her prince, her eyes popped open and she awoke.

“Just like in the fairytales, good triumphed over evil.” “Your stories forgot to mention the fact the hero almost dies of a heart attack in the process.” She chuckled. “Oh please. You have a biomechanical heart and I have healing nanobots."

Because I am more than a machine. More than a tool for the military. I am Bonnie. Flawed princess, enhanced human, and cherished lover of the most wonderful man in the universe. Despite what the future might bring, she had everything to live for. And best of all? She was loved.

I won’t let anyone, and I mean anyone , take away my happily ever after without a fight.

And I love how the other male cyborg rebels accept Bonnie into their family:

“Why? Is it for boys only? Are you all hanging around in your underwear telling fart jokes? I can fart on demand if I have to. Heck, I can even belch the alphabet. Want to hear?” “No!”

“Just following protocol, Pita.” “Pita?” Her nose wrinkled. “My name is Bonnie.” “Not to me you aren’t. In my books, you’re P. I. T. A. PITA as in pain in the ass.”

This is the first book I read after migraine stopped me from indulging in my addiction. And I enjoyed it immensely. Einstein is adorable and I absolutely loved watching his transformation. B785 was just the right thing to cheer me up and supply a quality fix. Funny, sexy, romantic - and okay, the cheese was thick in the second half - that's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

If the cyborg, Einstein, “tried evacuating his testes with a droid once and only once” does this make him a virgin or not? He has never had sex with a woman or female cyborg, but he has with a droid…. Is he a virgin? Not sure.
In the book he is called a virgin twice and both times he argues that he is not. For the sake of this review we will call him a virgin, even though there is a very fine line (in my opinion) between sex with a droid and sex with a cyborg. But if you are the cyborg than, probably the difference is huge to you.

Virgin rating:
Innocence of virgin hero: 2/5
Innocence in losing it: 4/5
Build up to losing it: 2/5
Hotness of losing it: 4/5
Busted touching himself: no
POV while losing it: male

After the general tells Bonnie her sister Chloe is dead she makes her body shut down hoping one day to end. Einstein works a few days at a robotic brothel. Only to find a human like robot in a crate ready for trash. When inquiring about this bot the owner tells him he can have her. As he opens her box and puts her on his table to truely see what he can see he figures she's one of the few female cyborgs that were sent to different places. He has no since for love it isn't in his genes so when he kisses her. She awakens and start falling for him does he feel the same or does he think he's dysfunctional??? Need to read.

Four and a half stars

B785 is the third in Eve Langlais' Cyborgs: More Than Machines scifi romance series, and is a terrific addition to the story.

Einstein has chosen his name as a self-affirmed cyborg geek, and has no interest in the opposite sex or activities therewith. When he discovers B785, they are both shocked that her sparkling personality is exactly what this scientifically focused nerd needs, and his intensely focused passion is just what brings her back to life.

Eve Langlais' story is fast-paced and very entertaining. The series is a winner!

I binged a handful of these stories, which are 200-250pp. Each follows a similar plot line, but with enough variation to avoid repetition. In addition, there is an overall arc that holds it together. Lots of teammates who need to find their match to keep the series going.

Not deeply philosophical or angsty, with enough action and sex to keep it going. Hot but not sizzling, with almost no kinks at all.

I enjoy this author and this series.

I enjoyed how the boisterous Bonnie brought the shy cerebral Einstein out of his shell. Goid series, although I haven't run into one by Eve Langlais that I haven't enjoyed. Wish they were all on Audible, hopefully soon. Recommended and while they could be read alone but will enjoy it more if you start from beginning.

After a good start with the first book of this series, this was another huge disappointment. I liked the beginning, how Einstein found B785. But then it bogged down until I had to force myself to continue reading. The last third seemed to pick up a little but I was just glad to finally reach the end. Not sure I’ll read the rest of the series. It’s a shame, imo, bc it had so much potential.

Not just a copy of its predecessors. The pair of Bonnie and Einstein made for a serious dynamic duo. definitely an unlikely match. I just wish there was more interaction between these characters and the ones from previous stories.

I liked this SO much more than book one and two. The characters were cute and funny and didn't get on my nerves like the others did. I found the action better in this one and I'm glad I kept reading even though I didn't really like the first two at all.

Not my favourite in the series but still a good continuation of the series. Sexpot heroine isn’t really my fave story line and neither is super geeky Hero but he was Alpha enough sometimes to still be appealing.

Yes, love when the geek finds love! Bonnie and Einstein seemed opposites, but they just fit so well. She found acceptance and the freedom to be herself, he got in touch with his human side and all that it brought with it. Together, they were awesome
