This book was really helpful for the purpose of getting myself to take a big step in the world of no longer being afraid of hiding my identity online. it is designed for business people and organizations to better handle their online presence by being more open about who they are and what they do. I've pretty much thrown caution to the wind on this and I am already seeing good results because of it. It covers everything from why or why not to blog, SEO, marketing your brand, and managing your reputation online. For example: there is a part about why doing "email blasts" is really bad, and a proper alternative is what is called "permission marketing". A good book for anyone running a business or any self-employed people.
A bit too much emphasis on convincing people about the importance of online reputation management. But they don't really describe it as a how to, so my fault for expecting that.
