Historical/Erotic Romance

Bad writing, cheesy dialogue, and the kidnapping/captivity of the heroine and her maid by three assailants, involving multiple rapes and various forced sexual acts that counts for 20 of the story's total 105 pages, makes for a rather abysmal read.

The Seduction of Colette was a interesting read and different from what I'm use to but I think the author could have made it better. There are alot of dull parts when I thought 'ok, I've had enough of this, can something happen now!?' I also thought that Lord Philippe could of had a bigger part and that would have been better. Especially when Colette was kidnapped. He's worried, he's realizimg he's in love with her and he wants/needs her back and he's in dispair.

Though classified as erotica, this book wasn't erotic. I liked the heroine, because she was smart and sensible. The story was solid, but there was truly nothing erotic about it. It wasn't all too romantic either.
