Attending one of her friend’s parties is normally a boring affair for Zoë but this time she is shocked to find that her boyfriend has lost more then just his shirt at the gambling table. He has lost her! David maybe tall, dark, sexy as sin and one of the richest men in town but as far as Zoë is concerned he is in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can just waltz in and claim rights to her.
Zoë is right on some things, David is sexy as sin and almost as rich as Midas but what she doesn’t know might just be her downfall. David is determined to have her and nothing she does will sway him from his chosen path, and that path will lead Zoë to his bed in handcuffs none the less.
This is the kind of Dom/sub story that I just love. Ms. Thompson’s handling of Zoë’s awakening desires to submit is just impeccable. The enticement that David throws at Zoë is almost too much for any woman to resist. Like a moth to the flame Zoë is drawn to David’s mesmerizing ways. I must commend Ms. Thompson because unlike some Dom/sub genre books David treats Zoë as a human being with feelings and emotions and not just an outlet for his sexual appetites. But let’s get to the good part; the sex in this book is almost too wicked. David tempts, titillates and just plain blows Zoë’s mind and drove me strait into a cold shower. This book is high on my list of rereads.

This story had two strikes against it. One, the plot - husband bets wife in poker game and loses - is a shameless cliche, which the author didn't even try to present as a believable scenario. Two, the price on kindle was $1.99 for 33 pages. To me, charging more than 5 cents a page for erotica is a rip-off.
BUT, even with the count 0 and 2 against her, Claire Thompson manages to knock the third pitch out of the park! I have to admit that, hackneyed as it is, the bet-your-wife concept is one that almost never fails to reel me in. More to the point, Ms. Thompson is an excellent writer. Once the initial wager was concluded, she managed to maintain my interest in the developing relationship between the H and h, which I found surprisingly believable . . . and hot!

David Turner and Zoë Lennon's Story.
David struck me as a lover of power, and the excitement it brings.
That's a problem, as he will come to need more and more to be satisfied.
His suggestions near the end foreshadow this eventuality for her.
Will there be escalating torture in her future ?
Yes, is the sad answer.
Will their relationship stay happy?
Probably not, given time.
As bondage stories goes this was tame, but still painful to read.
Why does the author portray pain as being arousing ?
Lost a couple of stars here.
Fortunately, I liked the people, and the happy ending.
So, 3 stars overall.

Esto de relación dominante/sumiso no tiene nada realmente agradezco se sea tan corta no tienen transfondo los personajes son bastante vacíos simples y si raros él de Dom no tiene nada y ella a la primera acepta todo con un, si resulta que soy sumisa!!!! y que la hagan caminar a gatas me genera ira, pero que le empuje la cabeza al piso con el pie! NO, en que universo creen que esa acción es un claro signo de respeto departe de una sumisa primeriza clarooooooooo...

An Awesome story!
I enjoyed reading Slave Gamble, all about Zoey a girlfriend who was given away in a Card game to pay a gambling debit by her boyfriend. Turner is new to town and came to her girlfriends party for some fun.! Read this story and find out how Zoey & Turner end up, you will be strangely surprised by the outcome! I really enjoyed reading it, hopefully you will as well!

Para lo que he leído del género, creo que esta historia se lleva la palma en cuanto a una mala construcción y la relación entre los protagonistas me pareció demasiado forzada; sé que las relaciones BDSM no son un cuento de hadas e implican una relación de poder/sumisión pero en este caso me parece que dicha relación está muy desestabilizada. Allá ustedes si lo quieren probar.

I loved Zoe and David, particularly how David just seems to know what Zoe wants and needs. I was extremely disappointed to finish the story in less than 20 minutes. Not worth the investment, but more importantly I feel a little ripped off.
