Non-fiction Twin Text Entry #1:

Rey, H.A. (2010). The complete adventures of curious George: 70th anniversary edition. New York: Houghton Mifflin

I paired these two particular titles because of how popular "Curious George" is with young readers. Often times, parents or caregivers will read these titles with their pre-k or kindergarten aged children. I thought it would be really fun to be able to read about all of the silly things George the monkey does, and be able to use "Monkeys" as an informational book about all different kinds of monkeys, and how they live.

My favorite monkey is the Mandriva because it has so many colors, like blue and red, my favorite color, and white. And it's teeth is so pointy and it's tongue!
