I've always had a colourful imagination where I would often see stories play out in my mind. It's almost like having my very own movie on the go and how it pans out is up to me!
I am inspired by life and all the challenges that we as a human race have to overcome, which will hopefully show in my writing.
I have a beautiful family that keeps me on my toes and my feet very much grounded.

Some of my favorite authors include but not limited to are: J.K Rowling, MC Scott (Manda Scott), Khaled Hosseini, Tim Willocks, Stephanie Meyers, Anne Rice, Virginia Andrews, Andrea Levy. As you can see my reading taste fits into many genres, but nothing feeds my mind like a good sci-fi/fantasy that has a romance element to it.

I really liked this novel as there was a lot to the story apart from being a romance . It has two different alien races living on earth, one how wants to dominate, the Sofayans and one who wants to protect, the danfians. Chloe thinks she's just an ordinary girl until the day her mother and brother are killed in front of her. She finds out that she is both human and danfian and also Sofayans. This is as her mother was attacked when pregnant by the ruler of the Sofayans ,Ivan.Part of his essence went into the fetus when he attempted to feed by draining the life force of her mother. This is how the Sofayans live. Chloe finds herself on the run and hunted by Ivan as she is part of the prophecy that states she would be the one to kill him.
Alexander is a 300year old sofayan, who has never stopped mourning for his wife, until he meets Chloe. I love the connection between them, they have so many obstacles in their path. The other characters I liked were the Sofayans Sheena and Orlagh. They are so bitchy, it was great reading them. Sheena actually had a plan to get out of Ivan s rule. Orlagh was just bad .When Alexander helps Chloe and her fellow danfians escape, things start to change. But a big surprise was, is the prophecy actually about Chloe. This was a brilliant book, and it ended with me wanting to read more.

Chloe and the Danfians are in a fight to save their race. The Danfians are spirits from another world, which was destroyed long ago. Their enemies, the Sofayans, will stop at nothing to find the “prophesized” savior of the human race. They must at all cost preserve their new way of life. Chloe must choose between a race she has newly embraced and a love she has recently found.

If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be fast. Everything happened so quickly. Within the first couple of pages, I was extremely overwhelmed with a plethora of information. It all felt extremely rushed. We have hardly even met Chloe, and yet I could have told you all about her “race” and the need to protect her. Then it was straight into action and more action and then awkward insta-love.

The insta-love in this book was really just frustrating. I felt that it was a little farfetched. They spot each other from a distance and immediately feel an attraction. Although Chloe is being hunted, just experienced extreme tragedy, and has her life at stake, she still finds time to find attraction in the enemy. I was, at this point, very put off of this book. I was very upset about this since the concept seemed so fascinating!

I felt that another part of the book which really ruined it for me was all the typos throughout the story. I am a stickler about things like this since I am unfortunately a control freak with OCD. I just wished that it did not throw me off as much as it did. I felt that all in all the idea behind this book was really awesome. I mean you have two races fighting over Earth. One wants to rid it of controlling monsters, and the other wants to be those controlling monsters. I would have liked to have savored information and events in this story instead of having them overwhelm me. Although I found a lot of problem with the book, it was still a good story.

I just wanted to thank the author, L. Sengul, for allowing me to read and review her novel. Best of wishes and hope to read more from you in the future!

The book immerses you in a whole new world on Earth. We find out about alien races that have lived among us for centuries. While this is not a new theme, this book puts a new spin on it. Chloe Rose is a heroine you will relate to and you want things to work out for her, even though it seems impossible. She has to deal with overwhelming loss and she is thrown into the middle of a war right at the point that she discovers who she truly is. You will want to find out how she deals with all this and her conflicted emotions when she falls in love with the enemy.
The cover drew me in, but the book kept me reading. It has all the elements I look for in a book: action, romantic elements, and something that stretches your imagination and makes you think.

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank L. Sengul, author of The Danfians Prophecy, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this book.

Well, to be heart core honest this book was just okay for me. I never read any book where any alien species were involved so when I came across the blurb, I thought of giving it a shot because the blurb was really exciting. I had quite a high expectation from it but this book didn't satisfy me totally.

The plot was good and I liked the story line a lot, it had a lot of potential but I think that the author didn't utilize it up to the brim. Moreover at parts I felt it to be too rushed and quite get adjusted with the pace in which the story flowed.

The history and background of the alien races and how they came on earth was sketchy and unclear which dimmed my interest because I couldn't relate myself to their world and the story didn't seemed to be believable.

The main character seemed to be confused here and there and the other characters were not developed fully, they lack the emotional touch through which the fictional characters generally reached the readers.

The suspense was well kept till the end and I quite enjoyed the action scenes. Over all the story needs nurturing and a little touch up. A good read and worth a shot so I would recommend it to other YA fans and this opinion is truly mine so this story can be an awesome read to someone else so I would suggest that give it a try and decide for yourself whether you love it or not!

I got this book from the author free from cost in exchange for an honest review. I'd like to thank the author for giving me the opportunity to read and enjoy this world.

I'd give this book a 3 I have never really read a book about aliens before so this was a really good opportunity to get into them. Honestly I really loved the plot! It was fantastic and it really had a good purpose behind it. I loved the world and was fascinated how it functioned. Really the little blurb at the back was what really caught my attention. It didn't give a lot and was a bit mysterious which instantly pules me to books

As in the previous paragraph I explained how I loved the concept of the story and world, I wasn't very satisfied with the writing style. It was a bit jumpy. Going from one thing to another. Each characters POV was really short and you didn't really get a chance to connect with any of the characters in my opinion. I didn't develop any connections with them. I also wish everything was a bit more slow paced and explained.

All in all I loved the plot and storyline but I didn't connect much with the characters and there wasn't a great deal of details.

I want to thank L. Sengul and the group we 'heart' YA Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Firstly I want to say that I really wanted to enjoy this book. I like the idea behind the story... two alien races living on Earth - one who wants to protect and one who wants to rule.

I struggled to read this book for two reasons. I found the writing style did not suit my reading style. It sometimes felt a bit disjointed and there were quite a few errors. Secondly, the POV's kept jumping with little indication or warning. I found it hard to differentiate between the characters as the writing style didn't change with the POV. It felt like the same person was talking and thinking for all of the characters.

I would still recommend this book as the foundations of the story are interesting and just because this book did not suit me personally, in no way reflects how other YA fiction fans may feel about it.

Thank you for the opportunity to read your work. Best wishes for the success of your book.

Editing errors, more than a few. That could be worse, but it adds up to way too awkward, childish sentences, and the result is below the acceptable for me.

The world is not believable; the book is not interested in plausibility, nor intrinsic compatibility of the world. It's also telling things, not showing. For example, a phrase tells plainly that characters "strengthen a gene" with "modern technology" and thus "cure the curse".(?)

The books needs professional editing and heavy rewriting, preferably after training in creative writing.

I barely read 50+ pages, with efforts.
There are books out there worth your time. This isn't one of them.
