After the explosive blow up in Prague, the Medlov men are burdened with the task of returning to business as usual. Dmitry heads to Angola, Africa to help fuel a civil war, and Ivan heads to London to murder the Irish gang, The Sulfux Boys. Only nothing can return back to the way it was before the boys faced Boss Smirnov. Dmitry accidentally unveils Elsa’s plot; Ivan and Arie do the unspeakable, and an old enemy becomes a new ally.

Change a-coming but Medlov Organization is at risk!
Dmitry is now Czar after having his father killed but hell's bell, his brother, Ivan with the help of jealous-hearted Vladimir Sidorov (Khalid's son) is as disloyal as he is disrespectful to Dmitry as well as his new wife, Arie! Never thought I would feel sorry for Arie but Ivan is truly a sociopath! And the killing of Dmitry's men... too much betrayal #disloyalty
Elsa, the new President of Hutton's Industries truly fooled me with her hidden agenda against her father and ex, Tavares!
At this point, Davyd, the underboss of sorts is the only one I trust at this point besides Dmitry!
The maid comes in Dmitry's bedroom with breakfast. He gets out of bed naked - ropes of lean muscles covered in tattoos. *moans* *pants* She batts her eyes, makes the sign of the cross. Dmitry later says, "I seem to have that effect on most women."
Dmitry addresses Colonel Tavares: "You should know that despite what I seem to be I'm a very jealous man." "I mean I would kill you quicker for a woman than a few million dollars." ~Latrivia Nelson (The Chronicles of Young Dmitry Medlov - V5)
I love Dmitry! He is in rare form! Classic! *trembles* All I can say is DMITRY, DMITRY, DMITRY - SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
What is really going on with Anya? I thought she'd stay a daddies girl but I guess I'm wrong. They all need another story of their own so we can catch up and see what's happening with the gang. Ivan is a mess and Arie is no better, the two together is a problem that needs to be nipped. I see Vladimer not only ticking off Dmitry but he doesn't stand a chance the first time he doubts Ivan. Not sure what Elsa problem is but I can see her going down hard for trying to play in their world. Dmitry seems to be falling head over for her and I won't be surprised if there's another child found out between the two if she's not taken care of soon. Davyd seems to be the only person with his head in the game and I really want him to pull through it all. Right now the cards are all in Ivan's hand from what I'm reading and I can't wait until Dmitry takes them away.
Warning!!! This review was written by a Medlov Addict!
Normally I read a book twice before I write a review, but I couldn't wait. I loved this story, and it didn't disappoint at all.
Though I wish it didn't end with a TBC, I am amazed by the authors writing ability that has left me a 'Medlov Junky' fiendishly wanting more. I was upset at first by the explicit scenes that transpired in the story, but now I understand the reasoning for them. I am truly able to understand just how disturbed Ivan really is, and why things played out the way they did in "Dmitry's Closet". I don't want to say too much, after all this is a short story (one that I am proud to recommend).
I hope the Medlov saga never ends. This series needs to be a movie, or a miniseries FOR REAL THOUGH.
This whole series is totally awesome!!!! From young Dmitry, to Dmitry and Royal and all the other stories about the Russian Mafia characters, who have their own stories, right up to Dmitry Redemption all are outstanding! This is the second time I'm reading all of the stories. I'm having so much pleasure reading this author's creative body of work. I do highly recommend every single story written about the Medlov Crime Family. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
As always a great read about the Young Dmitry Medlove. The chronicles gives us a better understanding of Dmitry and Ivan and why they were at each other throats. Gives us some glipes of on his grown children and their lives. Definitely worth reading for all the background information tot he Medlov Series.
Well we see the level Ivan will go to disrespect Dmitry's author in his life he cannot see that is mother only means him well. I don't Arie one bit she is just as disgusting as Ivan.
Get ready, V5 is here and what a ride this has been .The drama heats up in this installment and the Medlov men both make decisions that will lead to even more division amongst them and send both men down separate paths. After the death of Boss Smirnov, Dmitry and Ivan begin to think about the future .Both leave Prague headed to separate counties with different agendas, Dmitry and Elsa are in Angola meeting with her father, the Head of the radical group, to secure the contract for the munitions. While in Angola,a ghost from Elsa’s past emerges, and while Dmitry is meeting with her father,he tries to make his move on Elsa. When Dmitry finds Elsa upset he gets ready for action and he also discovers his lovers hidden agenda. Meanwhile, Ivan heads back to London with orders from his Brother to get rid of Arie and take out the Irish gang that has a drug operation in one of his clubs but Ivan upon receiving advise from Vlad, decides this may be just the opportunity he needs to get from under Dmitry’s thumb, but that’s not all, Ivan also decides not to get rid of Arie and marries her instead. When Dmitry comes back Ivan find himself in a battle for power with his big brother and both are playing for keeps. What a ride! I so love the Medlov men. They are simply the best and this is truly a great series. The story has complex characters, a drama filled plot,is written well and has a nice flow. Even though it has roughly 135 pages,it did not seemed rushed at all. There were a few typos here and there but not enough to take away from the story. I love how Dmitry was with Elsa and I can see why he chose her. She has a lot of the same qualities as Royal, however where Royal was naive, Elsa knows there is evil in the world and she lets it cloud her judgment. This may be why he tried to keep Royal as innocent as possible. Ivan and Arie on the other hand, whew! What can I say, Ivan is flat out crazy! The way he did Arie on her wedding night! Wow, it made me feel so bad for her, I don’t think she is as crazy as Ivan or even a bad person, she just wanted to be loved and she thought Ivan was the one,but boy was she wrong! Ivan is a narcissist and loves no one but himself. Arie never stood a chance. This book was worth the wait, great job!
It doesn't measure up to the main books but it was good to read about Dmitry. I liked the beginning about Anya. I wish there was a book for her and Semyon.
