Book and story line had potential, but many things irritated me, including the writing. That said, the ending was the best. The emotion and reactions and the scenes seemed much more real and believable, but it still carried some of the same annoyances I had with the rest of the book. Also, was way too tame for me...and that's saying a lot!

Loved the art side of this story. Making the football star more than just an athlete. Loved that he was pursuing her and dealing with her issues, rather than being gushed over by her. Loved that he put so much effort into seeing her and getting to see the courting that worked up to the HEA. Was not a fan of the repeated use of proverbs and focus on christian values when it wasn't a religious type book -- felt staged.

I don't know why some people are giving this book a lower rating but I couldn't get enough! I loved it! If you love clean, beautiful romances between a strong hero and a fragile heroine with trust issues where men are concerned, then this is the book for you!! Nancy Radke writes clean romances that blossom into true love! If you are all about hot sexual romances then her books are not for you! This book will touch your heart and soul and stay with you long after you read the last word!!

This is the second book that I've read by this author and cannot wait for more.. Thus book has it all Mystery, adventure, and romance. My only wish would be an epilogue or something actually showing the happily ever after not just inferring bit... but hey that's just me, after it does give the opening for a part 2 for the story

I really liked that the author had these two meet via ASL. Alison's phobias were well portrayed and I liked the way they described ASL. A fun read.
