What would you do if the ghost of your dead husband showed up in your bedroom?
My husband died two years ago, fighting a fire that killed a woman and a small child. On the anniversary of his death, John -- or John's ghost -- visited me. A new investigation into that fire was being launched, led by an FBI agent and aided by Dan Steele, an ex-cop whose wife also died in that fire.
I always thought John was a hero, running into a burning building to rescue the people trapped there. And Dan always thought his wife was a victim, an innocent bystander in an arson crime.
Discovering the truth about what happened that night will bring us together ... closely together. And that's when we discovered that we were both right ...
I'm stepping away from Goodreads. I'll leave my profile here, but I won't be around much. My books are listed at https://bit.ly/JLWbooks and of course, there's my Facebook page:
I finally have read a romantic paranormal story I liked this much. I was a widow and this story touched on some of feelings of grief . It was adventurous and wasn't gory or foul language. The ending was warm and left on a good vibe.
I believe the suspense and the thrill was awesome and the book really had away of keeping my attention. The story is what pulled me through. I wanted to know what was happening with the story. The twists and turns kept me elevated and emotional. The characters were there but not what made the story. I like Dan's calm demeanor and the way that john's ghost was a soothing balm to Genny's nerves even when she didn't realize it. I liked the untrusting ways of the characters as we made it through.
