本書是為立志成為專業的業務人員所寫的書。坊間以業務為主題的書相當氾濫,但是,目前卻沒有一本能輔導傳統業務走向專業的書籍。
業餘愛好的研究者所寫的業務書籍,因為作者本身不具備業務經驗,加上業務工作較難從過去事例中蒐集到足夠的資料來比較、探討、分析並建構體系,因此,書籍內容並不符合實務面操作。
另一方面,成功業務員筆下的業務書籍,容易傾向於熱血澎湃、重視人情義理的體驗,與出人頭地的故事,讀完之後的確會讓人精神亢奮兩、三天。但是由於個人色彩過於濃厚,其他人幾乎難以仿效。
