In this true tale of demonic revenge, a Connecticut family, their friends, and their pets face the most vicious and wicked repercussions imaginable for standing up to the demonic spirits who have invaded their world. In the late evening hours, after a demonic spirit invades her home and penetrates her mind, psychic medium Yvonne Saxon receives a series of horrific visions. These visions reveal the diabolical spirits' plans to exact their revenge on everyone who was in any way involved in the McLaughlin case just two months earlier. After several unsuccessful attempts to get through to and warn the family and her colleagues, Yvonne makes a last-ditch, desperate call to the Archdiocese in Boston — specifically, to Bishop Marcus Phelan, who had previously been so instrumental in that case. Bishop Phelan realizes the grave danger they face when he meets misfortune while setting out on the long drive to Connecticut. Will he reach the beleaguered family in time? Can he save his friends from the savage attacks Yvonne has revealed to him in her desperate plea for help?
Dark The Nightmare Returns is the continuation of McLeod's most terrifying case of diabolical Infestation, Oppression, and Possession. His work was first published in his best-selling debut novel, Dark A Connecticut Family's Nightmare. Like its predecessor, it is a must-read for any paranormal enthusiast, investigator, or researcher - and most of all, for anyone who had endured, or who is currently experiencing paranormal activity for themselves.
This book, like its predecessor, is a paranormal powerhouse. What makes it truly unique is McLeod's chapter-by-chapter analysis where he explains spirit activity through Quantum Physics, The Universal Laws of Attraction, Vibration, Intention, and Conscious Manifestation.
JASON MCLEOD is a psychic paranormal investigator, spiritualist, and empath. He has spent the last 28 years helping individual families deal with both the human spirits who linger in their lives, and the inhuman spirits who seek to ruin them. His training and experience were influenced by his close personal friends and mentors, the late Ed Warren and his wife, Lorraine. The Warrens, best-selling authors and movie consultants, started the modern ghost hunting craze that thrives today.
McLeod presents engaging information on the subjects of Spirituality, Consciousness, Quantum Physics, Meditation, Metaphysics, Paranormal investigation, and Demonology at Paranormal Conventions, Spirituality Expositions, Church Events, New Age Events and on radio blog broadcasts throughout the world.
Dark A Connecticut Family's Nightmare is the first book in the series. The Kindle edition is a best seller in the Occultism, Supernatural and Ghosts & Haunted Houses categories.
The second book is just as creepy and scary as the first book! Reading the continuing saga of the terrifying paranormal experiences that the family went through escalates more in this book. Warning, you will want to leave the lights on with the second book as it will take you down a spooky spiral of horror that will grab you by the throat and not let you go! Five star read for the second book!
I read Dark Siege 1 and was happy with the ending. I thought everything was fine. Imagine my surprise when I saw Jason selling Dark Siege 2 at the Horror Fest I was at! That poor family!! As with the first book, Jason did a fantastic job telling their story. And again, adding the analysis section is brilliant because people think that messing with the paranormal is a game. It's not. Just read both of the Dark Siege books and you'll see.
Like with the first book, I suggest reading before dark. I definitely don't want to be in the dark, in the night, with any of Dark Siege still fresh in my head!
Another great read from Jason McLeod. As if the horror in Dark Siege was not enough! This family, their friends and their pets, yet again suffer this nightmare.
Again Jason incorporates the message of making sure no stone is unturned and that the "job" is done properly. Just missing one seemingly small detail, lead to the entire nightmare being relived.
Again, the composition of this continued story kept me fully immersed until the last word.
I look forward to reading future work from this author.
This book picks up shortly after the first one ends. The book progresses and flows well. Well written and engaging, I would highly recommend reading this book.
Great follow up to the original. The only thing that erked me was the need to constantly tell us when all the praying was going on and what the prayers said exactly. I get this is a book about exorcism how it is combated religiously. Of course there is going to be lots of praying but I felt like I read pages and pages of it. Anyway..great job!
I just can't get into it this time, I really thought I could power through another terribly written book about this stupid family and the evil forces that love to pick on them but I can't.
